1. FEATURES & BENEFITS
CUBE JAM is a free app that provides audio playback, processing
and recording on iOS devices, such as iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.
It works with i-CUBE Link enabled products to enable musicians to
use their song libraries for jamming or practicing, and can alter the
speed, pitch, and center content of the audio files. It also allows the
user to record to their iOS device via the i-CUBE Link.
Free app for iOS devices
Provides audio playback from existing iTunes libraries
Enables audio to be played through i-CUBE Link enabled
amps
Speed, pitch and center canceling can be applied to songs in
real time for practicing, learning fast riffs, or transposing to
other keys
A/B control to set loop points for rehearsing selected
sections of the song
Enables recording to iOS devices via i-CUBE Link on
compatible Roland products
Mixdown feature creates mix of live playing and audio
backing tracks

2. QUICK DEMO
The Quick Demo is a way to get a customer interested in a product in less than
60 seconds.
Before You Start
1. Download the free app to an iOS device.
2. Connect an i-CUBE Link enabled amp (CUBE Lite, Micro CUBE GX, etc.)
to the iOS device via the included 1/8” cable.
3. Connect a decent guitar to the amp. Dial in a good lead sound.
4. If necessary, tune the guitar.
The Quick Demo
1. Tap the A/B button to set a beginning loop point. Tap it again at the end of
the demo song’s bridge so the song will loop continually from the end of
the bridge. Explain this to the customer.

2. Tap the Play button to start the demo song.
3. Play along to the song (it’s in E).
4. Tap the SPEED button.
5. Adjust the speed of the song. Tap the screen to close the SPEED window.
6. Tap the PITCH button.
7. Adjust the pitch of the song. Tap the screen to close the PITCH window.

8. In the verse of the song, tap the CENTER CANCEL button.
9. Turn on the CENTER CANCEL and play lead over the backing track.
10. Reset SPEED, PITCH and CENTER CANCEL.
