The manufacturer is not responsible for damage or injury caused by incorrect assembly or use. The wall must be capable of supporting five times the weight of the speaker and mount
combined. If you do not understand these instructions or have doubts about the safety of the installation,

The mount (A), cap (B), and wall plate (C) come already assembled. Push the cap off the mount, then slide the wall plate out to disassemble.

Installation instructions

STEP 1 - Select a mounting option
You can mount your speaker to three wall types:
Option A: To mount to a wood stud wall, see “STEP 2 - Option A:
Installing on a wood stud wall” o n p a g e 6.
Option B: To mount on drywall, see “STEP 2 - Option B: Installing on
drywall“ on page 8.
Option C: To mount on concrete or a concrete block wall, see “STEP 2 -
Option C: Installing on a solid concrete or concrete block wall“ on page
10.

STEP 2 - Option A: Installing on a wood stud wall
CAUTION
• Drywall covering the wall must not exceed 5/8" (16 mm).
• The wood stud must not be smaller than a nominal 2 x 4 in. (51 x 102 mm) actual 1-1/2 x 3-1/2 in. (38 x 89 mm)
• Make sure that you drill at the center of the stud.
1 Locate the stud. Verify the center of the stud with an edge-to-edge stud finder. 2 Position the wall plate (C) at your desired height and line up the holes with your
stud center line. Level the wall plate and mark the hole locations.

3 Drill pilot holes to a depth of 1-3/4 in. (45 mm) using a 1/8 in. (3 mm) diameter
drill bit. Make sure that you drill into the center of the stud.
4 Attach the wall plate with the two wall plate screws (F). Tighten the screws only
until they are flush against the wall plate. If needed, you can make small level adjustments to the wall plate, by loosening the bottom screw and shifting the wall plate until it is level. Tighten the bottom screw when adjustments are complete.
You’ll need
CAUTION
Both screws must be firmly tightened to prevent unwanted movement of the wall plate. Ensure the wall plate is securely fastened to the wall before continuing on to the next step.
