3.THE FOLLOWING TEST MUST BE IMPLEMENTED AFTER EACH REPAIR BEFORE RETURNING IT TO CUSTOMER.USE AN OHM-METER TO MEASURE THE F.C. RESISTANCE FROM BOTH A.C.CONDUCTORS TO ANY EXPOSED METALLIC PART SUCH AS A SCREW HEAD.METAL INLAYS ETC. THE RESISTANCE MEASURED SHOULD BE 10 MEGAOHMS MINIMUM.

AM IF ALIGNMENT
Set output of signal generator no higher than necessary to obtain an output reading. Slide the function switch to the tuner position and the band switch to the AM position. Set volume control to reference output. Use loop antenna to Radiate the Signal into the Receiver Antenna..

Connect Signal Generator across antenna terminals. Adjustment of coils should not be attempted unless the Original coil is deformed or has been replaced. Circuit Symptom Cause and Remedy General No sound 1.Speakers are not connected.
Check the speaker connection
2.Wrong function is selected. Set switch to the proper position.
3.Defective volume control. Set the volume control to a proper sound level
. 4.Defective earphone jack.
Replace the earphone jack.
5.The inserted battery is upside down. Please notice the polarity of battery.
AM No sound ,weak 1.Improper location of unit.

Check resistance voltage and current .Replace as needed.

Circuit Symptom Cause and Remedy CD Cannot read the the 1.The inserted disc is upside down.
table of contents. Insert disc correctly. No display. 2.Disc is dirty. No sound. Wipe it with a piece of soft colth.
3.Disc is seriously hed. Use a new disc.
4.Disc is seriously warped. Use a new disc.
5.A non -standard disc has been inserted. Use only a brand name disc .
6.Moisture has formed inside the CD desk. Wait about 20 to 30 minutes.
7.Defect in the servo control board. Replace or repair as required.
8.Defect in the CD pickup mechanism. Replace as required.
