DETAILS OF MODIFICATION
If dust or other foreign material is adhered at the
edge of the entrance mylar seal as shown in the
illustration, the transfer corona may leak. As a
result, vertical white line(s) may appear on copy
images.
To prevent this, the mylar seal has been changed to
a strip of teflon tape.

DETAILS OF MODIFICATION
If dust or other foreign material sticks to the edge of
the entrance mylar seal as shown in the illustration,
the transfer corona may leak. As a result, the image
might turn out blank or fuzzy.
To prevent this, the mylar seal has been changed to
a strip of teflon tape.

DETAILS OF MODIFICATION
To prevent dust from sticking to the plate between the transfer
section and the separation section in the T & S corona unit, an
insulating tape has been fixed to the plate. Increasing the wire
tension will help to reduce the vibration of the transfer wire. The
new wire is about 2.5mm shorter than the previous one and the
carbon coating has been removed from the wire surface to prevent
current leakage. The tension of the new spring has been
increased from 84gf to 170gf.

DETAILS OF MODIFICATION
As a temporary countermeasure on the transfer current leakage problem, an insulating tape (A0233858)
has been fixed to the plate of the T & S corona casing. As a permanent countermeasure instead of
using a tape, we have decided to bend the plate of the casing where the tape was. (See illustration )
Even though we have modified the plate of the T & S corona casing, the part number (A0233851)
remains the same.

DETAILS OF MODIFICATION
To minimize creasing on translucent paper and film. The
diameter of the four exit rollers has been changed from
20mm to 19.25mm.
The feeding speed has been reduced from the speed of the
previous type. To prevent the shafts of the left and right exit
rollers, two bushings and two retaining rings were added.
To facilitate servicing, the exit unit is now available as a
service part.
