1 No paper feed jam at the duplex copy
The start speed of the transport motor has been corrected for when the paper is fed
from the duplex tray.
If the pressure of the bottom plate is insufficient due to the unstable start speed of the
transport motor, the paper in the duplex tray may not be fed.
2 SC721 when setting up the CS130
To prevent SC721 from appearing when setting up the CS130, the detection time for
SC721 has been changed from 300 ms. to 400 ms. For the cut-in serial numbers, see the attached.

Problem
If the power is turned on when the front cover is open, the front cover is then closed and the start key is pressed, SC440 occurs.
Cause
Due to the change to the inner circu it of the main motor to improve the reliability of the motor, the current software cannot recognize this modified motor correctly, resulting in the SC440 display.
For the cut- in serial number, refer to the MBs (Eagle II:16, Falcon II:19) that will be issued on 31 July, 1998.
