Before using your personal groomer for the
first time,put it on charge for 14-16 hours.
To charge your groomer
Your groomer automatically begins to
recharge as soon as it is plugged into the
charging adapter.While it is charging,the
red indicator lightwill be on. Your groomer
cannot be turned on while it is charging.Do
not attempt to operate groomer when it is
plugged into the charging adapter.
■ Use only the charging adapter supplied
with the groomer.
■ Charging should be done at
temperatures between 40° and 95°F,
or it could decrease the battery’s life.
■ Make sure the groomer is turned off.
■ Connect the cord to the groomer, then
plug the charging adapter into the
electrical outlet.A charging indicator
light will come on.
■ Your groomer cannot be overcharged,
so you can leave it plugged in and
charging between uses.But if the unit
is not going to be used for an extended
period of time (2-3 months) unplug it
and fully recharge when you want to
use it again.
■ In order to preserve the life of the
batteries,they should be fully
discharged every six months and
then fully charged for 24 hours.
■ Remington®rechargeable groomers are
designed only for cordless operation.
■ Remington®rechargeable groomers are
powered by Nickel Metal Hydride
(NiMH) environmentally safe batteries.
■ Hairs should be free of lotions when
using your groomer.
■ Never use groomer with damaged or
broken cutter units.

needs.Just place the attachment on the
handle and turn it clockwise until the lock
symbols align.
Precision trimmer
plus comb attachment
You can use
the precision
trimmer on the
outside of your
bikini line or add
the 3-position
comb attachment
for trimming
inside your bikini
line.
1. To attach 3-
position comb,simply
slide it onto the
trimmer as shown.
2. Depress button to
release comb when
adjusting comb length.
Other uses for this trimmer attachment are on
your arms,neckline,feet,
etc.

Cosmetic trimmer and
detail trimmer
You can use
these attachments for
trimming
unwanted
eyebrow hair,
fine downy
facial hair,nose
and ear hair, or
any stray body hairs.
Mini-shaver
You can use
this attachment
for smaller
areas such as
your bikini line,
underarms or
the fine,downy
hair on your
face.It was not
designed to
shave larger areas such as your legs.Use it
dry, or use it wet with soap,foaming gel,or
body wash if you prefer.
Hold the groomer so the mini-shaver
screen gently touches your skin.This
allows the unit to work the way it was
designed for the closest shave and minimum screen wear.Avoid holding the
groomer at an angle.This will distort the
screen and may cause some skin irritation.

Cleaning & Maintenance
To assure optimal performance,Remington
recommends you turn off the groomer after
each use and unplug the adapter when it’s
not being used to recharge the groomer.
Clean your groomer regularly
Cleaning with brush
Your groomer’s cutting blades are permanently lubricated and will never need oiling
if they are never exposed to water.To maintain this lubrication,use the enclosed brush
to clean the unit.
Thoroughly brush and blow out hair clippings from the cutter,the bottom of the
attachments,and the top of the
power handle.
Cleaning with water
Your groomer’s trimmer attachments hav e
r u s t - r e s i s t a n t ,stainless-steel cutting blades
t h at permit the cutting assemblies to be
rinsed under running water if you choose.
■ Remove all attachments
by rotating them counterclockwise to the unlock
position and pulling the
attachment off.
■ Rinse the attachments
under warm running
water. Do NOT use hot
water, which may cause damage to
components.
! Do not use harsh or corrosive cleaners
on the unit or its attachments.
! Do not apply pressure or hard objects
to attachments.

Cleaning the Mini-shaver
Thoroughly brush and blow out hair
clippings from the cutter, the bottom of
the attachments,and the top of the
power handle or you may rinse.
■ Press the buttons at the ends of the
screen head.
■ Remove the head and shake out
the clippings or rinse.
■ Blow off the cutter assembly or rinse.
■ Replace the head,making sure the unit
snaps in place.
Oiling the blades:
If you use your trimmer in the shower or
rinse the attachments,you will need to
lubricate the cutter blades once a month
with blade oil.Simply spread 1-2 drops of
oil lightly over the cutters with your fingertip.Wipe away any excess oil from the
cutters or the groomer.
Oil cautions
■ Use only the light-grade oil supplied or a
suitable alternative like sewing machine
oil – these oils will not evaporate and
will not slow down the blades.
■ Do not use hair oil,grease,or any oil
mixed with kerosene or solvent,as the
solvent will evaporate and leave the
thick oil,slowing the blades.
Note:Always store this appliance and cord
in a moisture-free area.Do not store it in
temperatures exceeding 140°F (60°C).
Tr o u b l e s h o o t i n g
? If the groomer doesn’t work when
turned on:
It may simply need charging.Remember,
the groomer needs to be charged for 14-16
hours before first use.If charging doesn’t
solve the problem,contact an authorized
Remington Service Center regarding battery
replacement.
? If the groomer does not hold a charge:
Fully discharge it by running the appliance
until it stops.Then follow the recharging
instructions above.If the time between
recharging cycles does not increase, the
battery may need replacing.Contact an
authorized Remington Service Center.
? If the cutters do not move:
The cutting unit may be dirty and clogged.
Clean and lubricate the unit as described on
the preceeding page.

any user-serviceable parts.Bring this

representative for service.
