IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, especially when children
are present, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following.

WARNING – TO REDUCE THE RISK OF BURNS, FIRE, ELECTRIC
SHOCK OR INJURY TO PERSONS:
t The shaver should never be left unattended when plugged
into a power outlet, except when charging the shaver.
t This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
t Use this shaver only for its intended use as described in this
manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by
Remington.
t Never operate this shaver if it has a damaged cord or plug, if
it is not working correctly, if it has been dropped or damaged,
or dropped into water. If the supply cord or plug of this shaver
is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard. It cannot be repaired.
t Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
t Store the product at a temperature between 0°C and 32°C.
t Never insert any object into any opening of this shaver.
t Do not use outdoors or where aerosol (spray) products are

being used, or where oxygen is being administered.
t Do not use the shaver with a damaged or broken tracks or
cutters, as injury may occur.
t For use on facial hair only. Not intended for shaving the hair
on your head.
t Do not plug or unplug the shaver with wet hands.
t For household use only.
Remington strongly recommends that an approved Safety
Switch (residual current device) be installed to protect all
bathroom power outlets. Ask an electrical contractor for
advice.

Power System: CORDLESS USE -When the unit is switched on and fully
charged, the product can be used in cordless mode
CORDED USE - Connect the charging adaptor to the
product then to the mains. The product can be used in cord
mode.
CAUTION: Extended mains only use will result in the reduction of
the battery life.
Indicators: LED charging indicator- displays the amount of battery
remaining, including low battery
Voltage Type: Worldwide Voltageshaver automatically adapts to an
outlet voltage between 100V and 240V. Please note that
some countries will require the use of a plug adaptor that
is not included with your shaver.
Travel Lock: To engage travel lock, rotate the tab above the On/Off
button anticlockwise until it stops in place. To disengage
travel lock, rotate the tab clockwise until it stops in place.
Washable: The head assembly part may be cleaned under water.
WARNING: Detach the hand-held part from the supply cord before
cleaning it in water.
