Important Safeguards
CAUTIONS
Your system is equipped with an IR control. The IR control complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
1) The IR keyboard may not cause harmful interference.
2) The IR keyboard must accept any interference received, including
interference that may cause undesired operation.
FCC Regulations state that unauthorized changes or modifications to this equipment may void the user’s authority to operate it.
1. Read Instructions
All the safety and operating instructions should be read and understood before the appliance is operated.
2. Object and Liquid Entry
Never push objects of any kind into the keyboard, as these objects may touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts that could result in a electrical shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the keyboard.
3. Damage Requiring Service
The appliance should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:
Keyboard has fallen, or liquid has been spilled into the appliance; or
The appliance does not appear to operate normally or exhibits a
marked change in performance; or
The appliance has been dropped, or the enclosure damaged.
4. Servicing
The user should not attempt to service the appliance beyond that described in the operating instructions. All other servicing should be referred to qualified service personnel.
5. Care and Cleaning
Use a soft cloth or dusting attachment of your vacuum cleaner to dust your keyboard. Plastic surfaces are easily scratched and with excessive use of oil-based furniture polishes, materials on the keyboard will accumulate more dust. A non-abrasive, anti-static cleaner / polisher is recommended.
6. Power Source
This product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label or in the owner’s manual.

Pointing & Operating Range
The keyboard works on line of sight, so if there are any obstructions between the keyboard and the TV or receiver, it will seem like the keyboard isn’t functioning correctly.
