SeaTalk/NMEA interf ace
The NMEA outputs of the S3 IPS course computer are restricted in
use:
NMEA 1 - provides IPS commands only.
NMEA 2 - provides HDM (heading) data only.
Your system is packed with a SeaTal k/NMEA int erface to prov ide an
additional NMEA output supporting a wider range of general NMEA
data.
To obtain general NM EA data you must connect the SeaTalk/NMEA
interface to the SeaTal k output of your course computer.
