Introduction & Support

Thanks for purchasing the Rane RPI. The RPI is a remote power injector that supplies the necessary power to the DR6 or RAD26
peripherals for rack-mountable HAL units.

Use standard screws of an appropriate size to attach the RPI to a wall, ceiling, or other surface. Use shielded Cat 5e (or better)
cables to connect it to any HAL unit to deliver communications and the extra power needed for the peripheral.

Wiring

Use shielded Cat 5e cables (or better) to connect your HAL
peripheral and HAL rack unit to RPI. The RPI can be placed
anywhere in between the two.
