Listening Safely
To protect your hearing, follow these guidelines when you use earphones.

INSTALLING THE REMOTE CONTROL’S BATTERIES
The remote control requires two AA batteries (not supplied) for operation. For the longest battery life, use alkaline batteries (Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-552). To ensure consistent operation, change the batteries about once a year.
Batteries
1. Remove the battery compartment cover by pressing down an d sliding it in the direction of the arrow.
2. Install two AA batteries as indicated by the polarity markings (+ and –) inside the compartment.
Cautions:
• Batteries installed incorrectly
might leak and damage the remote control.
• Do not mix old batteries with
new ones, and do not mix different types of batteries (for example, standard and alkaline).
3. Replace the cover.
