Your RadioShack 7 Channel Weatheradio with Tone Alert and Talking Clock is designed to receive National Weather Service broadcasts and NOAA weather alert signals, which provide infor­mation about weather conditions and forecasts 24 hours a day. Your Weatheradio receives these transmissions from up to 40 miles away and sounds an alert tone when a weather station broadcasts a special trigger alert signal, indicating a weather emergency.
