The Radio Shack AM/FM Pocket Radio is designed to provide you with
high-quality sound. The lightweight, portable design lets you listen to
radio programs almost anywhere you go. With the supplied earphone, you

INSTALLING BATTERIES

Your radio uses three AA batteries. For the best performance, we
recommend alkaline batteries such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-552.

1. Slide the battery compartment cover in the direction indicated by
the arrow.

2. Insert the batteries as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -)
marked inside the battery compartment.

3. Replace the battery compartment cover.

Notes: Replace the batteries when the radio's sound weakens.

If you plan not to use the radio for a month or more, remove
the batteries.
