This user manual should guide you through the functions and features of the QTouch 10 Service
Center. The Service Center supports the service personal respectively the end user in care and
maintenance of all components of this new generation of POS system. With this tool it is possible
to change simple settings like the touch calibration up to a complete software update.
Furthermore you can test each component like printer or display for its function.
We want to help you with this user manual to get started in dealing with your new POS system.

TYPE
You can access the Service Center by typing in P mode the combination 5343 and press the
TYPE button. (Refer to the following scheme of the user interface)
The Service Center is loaded and you are attaining the main menu.

Explanation of each button:
„Restart“ Button: restart the Cash Register
„Shutdown“ Button: shutdown the Cash Register
„Update“ Button: update the QTouch 10 with new software versions
„Calib“ Button: calibration of the Touchscreen
„Test“ Button: test the various hardware components (printer, TFT etc.)
„Info“ Button: important information about the QTouch 10 POS system

The update menu:
„ESC“ Button: cancel and return to main menu
„Update“ Button: start the update which is saved on a USB Stick
„Font“ Button: select the font for display and printer
After pressing the "Font" button, a new window opens where you can
select your favorite font. For confirmation of your chosen font please
press the "Change" button.
Since you change the font type you have to reboot the cash register
by pressing the "Restart QTouch" button from the Main Menu.
„Default“ Button: ATTENTION! This will set the QTouch10 back to the factory settings.

The test menu:
„ESC“ Button: cancel and return to main menu
„Printer“ Button: print out a test character set and test string set
energy level: change the print intensity (black level)
„Cutter“ Button: cutter test
„Drawer“ Button: open the cash drawer
„Sensors“ Button: shows and tests the sensors
„TFT“ Button: tests the operator displays with RGB and black / white colors
„LCD“ Button: test the customer display with letter and number sequences
contrast level: change the contrast of the display
„COM Port“ Button: tests the functionality of the COM ports
„Protocol“ Button: create a test protocol (for production only)
