he 1580 Series is a complete solution for one teller or pharmacist to communicate

with one or two drive-up lanes. Designed to minimize cost for simple 1-on-1 or 1-on-2
drive-up applications, it incorporates the great features and sound quality of our versatile
1500 Series in a less expensive design. The 1580 Counter Stations connect directly to a
special 1583 Dual Lane Station via Cat 5e/6 for easy installation.
Two different Counter Stations are available:
• Kit 1580S includes a 1580 Counter Station plus a 1583 Dual Lane Station.
• Kit 1580HS adds a teller handset with auto-privacy feature to the package.
Both kits have provisions for adding a wireless headset and/or two-way video.
The 1580 Series is functionally the same as our 1500 Series Intercoms, so no
additional operator training is required. However, its wiring is unique, so it
cannot be mixed with 1500 Series Counter Stations, Lane Stations, or Hubs.
