Once unpacked, set up the machine in the desired location (an electrical plug is required), making sure it is on a stable surface. Connect the mains cable, place coffee in the hopper, open the hasp and press the general switch located under the grinds tray. The grinder is now ready for use.
To request a coffee serving, simply place the filter holder in the space that corresponds to the desired serving (right for single serving, left for double serving). When using the grinder for the first time, or any time it is completely empty, request the serving three times so the dispenser fills properly and to ensure you obtain the correct serving.
To regulate the degree of grinding, use the grinding point adjustment knob, turning in one direction or the other.
Turn the knob clockwise to obtain a finer grind. Turn the knob counter-clockwise to obtain a coarser grind.
Before cleaning, disconnect the machine via the general switch located under the grounds tray. Wipe with a clean damp rag. Do not use detergents, abrasive products, alcohol or solvents. Use a paint brush to clean the harder-to -reach areas. The machine cannot be washed under running water.
