Digital Camera, Video Player, Smart Phones, Gaming Consoles or other products that support of Digital Video Output (DVI) are compatible with the PRO1301WE. Note: Actual result depends on the product Video signal output format and its operation mode; not all products are compatible with full screen display on the Mobile Monitor.
IMPORTANT
Keep the laptop away from the table edge to prevent it from falling off the table.
The cable may be damaged if you pull it
out by force.
To disconnect power cable connector from the Mobile Monitor, please push the connector towards right hand side as illustration shown.
Use the laptop and monitor on a flat surface. Otherwise, the laptop and monitor may topple; if the monitor is rotated to a position behind the laptop monitor, it may cause the laptop to
fall backwards. Turning the Mobile Monitor to an angle between 0° and 180° is not recommended.
Do not install the Mobile Monitor on moving objects, such as window of a vehicle; the monitor may fall off when moving. Do not install the Mobile Monitor on walls, doors, signage, bathrooms, ceilings and other dangerous places, and do not drop the Mobile Monitor during installation to prevent it from
injuring human bodies.
Do not flip open the Mobile Monitor to a horizontal position first, and avoid knocking against objects on the table while opening your laptop. Place the monitor into a bag with protective function for carrying, and avoid knocking against objects in the bag to prevent damaging the screen. PRO1301WE only reads the DVI Digital Video signal, support HDCP but does not support the full HDMI interface. PRO1301WE does not have speakers, thus it is not audio supported. This product is not waterproof. Do not use it near water or in wet environment. Do not insert any object into the Product’s slots or gaps. The shortcut keys are the capacitive sensing buttons, which is sensitive by gentle touching. Do not press hard or press fast continuously. Repeatedly pressing the button may cause the
button slow in response. For continuous adjustment of "Increase/Up" or "Decrease/Down", press and hold the corresponding button for automatic and continuous Increase / Decrease.

Installation Instructions - Horizontal Display
1 Install Digital Video and USB-Powered cable
If you wish to use the HDMI port on the laptop, please use Digital Video and USB-Powered Cable. If you wish to use the D-sub (VGA) or mini-Display Port on the laptop, please purchase the Analog Video and USB-Powered Cable or mini-Display Port and USB-Powered Cable.
Connect the Video and Power connector to PRO1301WE Video port, (1) Insert the latch into the groove of the Video power connector. (2) Slide the Video power connector toward the left for a proper connection. [Warning: Not inserting the latch into the groove may result in damaging the connector. Please check the Video power connector is properly connected and not protruding out. If protrusion occurs, the connection might not be properly connected and monitor will not be able to operate.]

2 Connect the PRO1301WE to the laptop
Connect the USB power connector to the laptop's USB port, and then connect the Digital Video connector to the laptop's HDMI Video output port
3 Adjust the laptop and monitor extension setting
After switching on the laptop, go to “Control Panel” of Windows operating system to proceed with monitor extension setting. If you use Windows 7, Select “2.DVI LCD” (Digital Video) or “2. Display device: VGA” (Analog Video) for Display. Select “1366x768” for Resolution Select "Landscape" for Orientation Select "Extend these displays" for Multiple displays, and drag Display 2 to the right side of Display 1.
4 Switch on the laptop
Switch on the laptop’s monitor and press the power button of the
PRO1301WE ; Adjust the brightness: press to adjust the monitor brighter and press to adjust the monitor dimmer
Note: The unavailability of “Duplicate these displays” or “Extend these displays” on the laptop may be due to: i) limitation of the laptop’s graphic card
ii) power saving mode of the laptop iii) graphics card driver was not updated Please seek for technical support from your laptop manufacturer or graphics chip maker.
Installation Instructions – Vertical Display
1Install the Video and USB-Powered cable
If you wish to use the HDMI port on the laptop, please use Digital Video and USB-Powered Cable. If you wish to use the D-sub (VGA) or mini-Display Port on the laptop, please purchase the Analog Video and USB-Powered Cable or mini Display Port and USB-Powered Cable. Connect the Video and Power connector to PRO1301WE Video port, (1) Insert the latch into the groove of the Video power connector. (2) Slide the Video power connector toward the left for a proper connection. [Warning: Not inserting the latch into the groove may result in damage to connector. Please check the Video power connector is properly connected and not protruding out. If protrusion occurs, the connection might not be properly connected and monitor will not be able to operate.]Refer to Fig. 1-1 "Horizontal Display"
2 Connect the PRO1301WE to the laptop
Connect the USB power connector to the laptop's USB port, and then connect the Digital Video connector to the laptop's HDMI Video output port.
Note: Place Mobile Monitor to the right side for better
view.
3 Adjust the laptop and monitor extension setting
After switching on the laptop, go to Windows’ “Control Panel” to make the
monitor extension setting. If you are using Windows 7:
Select “2.DVI LCD” (Digital Video) or “2. display device: VGA” (Analog Video) for Display Select “1366x768” for Resolution
Select "Portrait (flipped)" for Orientation Select "Extend these displays" for Multiple displays, and drag Display 2 to the right side of Display 1.
4Switch on the laptop
Switch on the laptop’s monitor and press the power button of the PRO1301WE; Adjust the brightness: press to adjust the monitor brighter and press to adjust the monitor dimmer

(2) Slide the Video power connector toward the left for a proper connection. [Warning: Not inserting the latch into the groove may result in damage to connector. Please check the Video power connector is properly connected and not protruding out. 2 Connect the PRO1301WE to the laptop
Place the laptop in front of the Mobile Monitor and align the upper side of the laptop to the lower display edge of the Mobile Monitor. Connect the USB power connector to the laptop’s USB port, and then connect the Digital Video connector to the laptop’s HDMI Video output port.
If Analog Video and USB-Powered cable is used, connect
the Analog Video connector to the laptop’s D-sub port
If miniDP and USB-Powered cable is used, connect the
miniDP connector to the laptop’s D-sub port
3 Adjust the laptop and monitor extension setting
After switching on the laptop, go to Windows’ “Control Panel” to
adjust the monitor extension setting. If you are using Windows 7:
Select “2.DVI LCD” (Digital Video) or “2. Display device: VGA” (Analog Video) for Display. Select “1366x768” for Resolution
Select "Landscape" for Orientation Select "Extend these displays" for Multiple display, and drag Display 2 to the top side of Display 1.
4 Switch on the laptop
Switch on the laptop’s monitor and press the power button of the PRO1301WE; Adjust the brightness: press to adjust the monitor brighter and press to adjust the monitor dimmer
Installation Instructions- Dual Monitor Display
1 Install the Holder Plate to the front cover of the
laptop’s monitor
[Note: This mode may not be suitable for laptop size smaller than 12" and ultra-thin laptop.]
Open the shaft’s Hinge Plate of the Mobile Monitor to 180° and place the Mobile Monitor on the laptop's front cover. Tear off the double-sided adhesive tape on the Holder Plate and attach the Holder Plate to the laptop, as illustrated. Note:
1) Keep the Holder Plate 2mm from the edge of the laptop
2) Align the Mobile Monitor to the front edge of the laptop's front cover.
3) Keep the direction of the Holder Plate the same as that of the shaft’s Hinge Plate
4) If the laptop’s front cover is not smooth, use more double-sided adhesive tape on the Holder Plate as required, before installation.

[Note: Do not reverse the direction of the Holder Plate as this will reverse the direction of the Mobile Monitor after installation.]
2 Install the Video and USB-Powered cable
If you wish to use the HDMI port on the laptop, please use Digital Video and USB-Powered Cable. If you wish to use the D-sub (VGA) or mini-Display Port on the laptop, please purchase the Analog Video and USB-Powered Cable or mini Display Port and USB-Powered Cable. Connect the Video and Power connector to PRO1301WE Video port, (1) Insert the latch into the groove of the Video power connector. (2) Slide the Video power connector toward the left for a proper connection. [Warning: Not inserting the latch into the groove may result in damage to connector. Please check the Video power connector is properly connected and not protruding out. 3 Install the PRO1301WE to the laptop’s
monitor
As illustrated, align the shaft’s Hinge plate of the PRO1301WE to the Holder Plate, to slide the shaft’s Hinge plate into the Holder Plate.

Rotate the Mobile Monitor clockwise so that it is parallel to the laptop; open the laptop monitor and the Mobile Monitor at the same time, as illustrated. Adjust the angle of the Mobile Monitor. A recommended angle is between 180° and 225°
3-3 Connect the PRO1301WE to the
laptop
As illustrated, connect the USB power connector to the laptop's USB port, and then connect the Digital Video connector to the laptop's HDMI Video output port
If Analog Video and USB-Powered cable is
used, connect the Analog Video connector to the laptop’s D-sub port
If miniDP and USB-Powered cable is used,
connect the miniDP connector to the laptop’s D-sub port
4 Adjust the height of the PRO1301WE on laptops front cover ( laptop is smaller than the monitor)
As illustrated, move the Mobile Monitor upward from the laptop’s front cover, press on the positioning clip at the first positioning
hole, and move the Mobile Monitor until the positioning clip pops up from the second positioning hole.

no longer fixed to the bottom of the laptop, and the laptop’s monitor can be tilted backward.
[Note: If your laptop is smaller than Mobile Monitor, the cable may get stuck when flipping the Monitor (see lower right figure). ]
5 Adjust the laptop and monitor extension setting
After switching on the laptop, go to “Control Panel” of Windows operating system to
proceed with monitor extension setting. If you use Windows 7,

Select “1366x768” for Resolution Select "Landscape" for Orientation Select "Extend these displays" for Multiple displays, and drag Display 2 to the right side of Display 1.
6 Remove the PRO1301WE from the laptop
As illustrated, align the shaft’s Hinge Plate of the Mobile Monitor with the Holder Plate, and
slide the shaft’s Hinge Plate out from the Holder Plate.
