HANDLE INSTALLATION

Tools Required: Two smalladjustable wrenches or ratchet
wrench withs 7/16" socket,

1. Place the handle (item 18) onto the reduced portion of the
upright tubes of the base as shown in the diagram.

2. Install the 1/4-20 x 1 1/4" bolts (item 17) through the tubes
from the outside.

3. Thread the 1/4" nyloc nuts (item 20) onto the bolts and

tighten.

NOTE: Do not over tighten.

ENDBELL

A & B. 120 V, 20 Ampere Duplex Receptacle

This duplex is splitsothat 20 amps of current may be

drawn from each half of the receptacle. However, total power
drawn must be kept within nameplate ratings.

C. Circuit Breakers

The receptacles are protected by an AC circuitbreaker. If

the generatoris overloaded oran external shortcircuitoccurs,
the circuitbreaker willtrip. Ifthis occurs, disconnect all

electrical loads and try to determine the cause of the problem
before attempting to use the generator again. If overloading

causes the circuit breaker to trip, reduce the load. NOTE:

Continuous tripping of the circuit breaker may cause
damage to generator or equipment. The circuitbreaker may
be reset by pushing the button ofthe breaker,

LIMITED WARRANTY

(NOT VALID IN MEXICO)

This product is warrantedby Coleman Powermate, Inc. to

the odginal retail consumer against defects in material and
workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of retail

purchaseand is not transferable. This two yearwarranty
appliesonly to productsused inconsumer applications. Ifthis

generator is used ina commercial application, then the period
ofwarranty coverageis limited to one (1) year from thedate of
purchase.

Please complete and return the enclosed Customer

information Card so that we can reach you inthe unlikely event

a safety recall is needed. Return of thiscard is notrequiredto

validate this warranty.

WHAT IS COVERED: Replacement parts and labor.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED: Transportation charges to

Coleman Powermate, Inc. for defective products.

Transportationcharges to consumerfor repaired products.

Brushesl fuses, rubberfeet, and receptacles. Damages
caused by abuse, accident, improperrepair, orfailure to

perform normal maintenance. Power unitsor engines which
are covered exclusivelyby the warranties oftheir manufacturer.

Sales outside of the United States or Canada. Any other

expense includingconsequential damages, incidental
damages, or incidentalexpenses, including damage to

property. Some states do not allowthe exclusionor limitation
ofincidental or consequentialdamages, so the above limitation

or exclusion may not applyto you.

IMPLIED WARRANTIES: Any implied warranties, including

the ImpliedWarranties ofMerchantability and Fitness For A

ParticularPurpose, are limited indurationto one (1) year from

the date of retail purchase. Some states do notallow

limitations on how long an impliedwarranty lasts,so the above
limitation may not apply to you.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY PERFORMANCE:
Replacement parts and service are available from Coleman
Powermate, Inc. Service Centers. Locate your nearest Service
Center by calling TOLL FREE 1-800-445-1805. In the unlikely

event a Service Center can not be located you may call

Coleman Powermate, Inc. fora retum authorization number.

Any unit returned WITHOUT an authorization number will

be refused.

To the extent any provision of this warranty is prohibited by

federel, state, or municipal law, and cannot be preempted, it
shall not be applicable. This warranty gives you specific dghts,
and you may also have other rights which vary from state to

state.

Outils neceseaires : deux petites des reglables ou une cle

rechet avec des douilles de 7/16" ainsi.

1. Placez le manche (article 18) dans Is pattie reduite des
tubes droits _ la base tel qu'illustre dans le diagramme.

2. Installez les boulons 1/4-20 x 1 114" (article 17) dace ]es
tubes de I'intadeur.

3. Filetezz les Serousnyloc 1/4 (article 20) dans les boulons

et resserrez,

REMARQUE: Ne rssserrez pas trop.

Cette prise double est c_lbleepour foumir 15 A. La

charge totale dolt capendant rester dartsles limitesindiquees
sur la plaque signaletique.

C. Disjoncteurs

Les prises sontprotegees par un disjoncteuralternatif. En
cas de surcharge ou de court-circuit extedeur, ledisjoncteur
saute. Si cela se produit, debrancher tout appareil relie _l la

generetrica et essayer de determiner [a cause du probleme
avant d'essayer de la reutiliser. Si le disjoncteur saute en

raison d'une surcharge, r_duire la charge. REMARQUE : La

generatrice ou les appareils branches dessus peuvent se
trouver abimes sita disjoncteur saute continuellement.

Appuyer sur le boutondu disjonoteurpour le reenclencher.
