VAPORELLA PRO 4100 R fa parte dell’ultima generazione di ferri da
stiro professionali. Realizzata con materiali di alta qualità, è garanti­ta per durare nel tempo.
La nostra équipe di tecnici, progettandola, l’ha dotata di strumenti atti
a rendere il Suo lavoro sempre più efficiente e sicuro.

•

Il Tappo di Sicurezza, Brevetto esclusivo Polti, impedisce l’a­pertura accidentale dell’apparecchio fino a quando esiste una mini­ma pressione all’interno della caldaia.

• La caldaia, della capacità di 0,9 litri, è costruita con una speciale

lega di alluminio che garantisce una lunga durata nel tempo e
impedisce l’aggressione del calcare, consentendoLe così di usa­re normale acqua del rubinetto.

• Il flusso di vapore è regolabile da 0 a 50 gr/min. durante l’utilizzo.

• La valvola di sicurezza, il termostato di sicurezza e il termostato

supplementare di protezione contro il funzionamento a secco man­tengono costantemente VAPORELLA nelle più assolute condizioni
di sicurezza.

Questo apparecchio è conforme alla direttiva EC 89/336
modificata dalla 93/68 (EMC) e alla direttiva 73/23
modificata dalla 93/68 (bassa tensione).

• Prima di utilizzare VAPORELLA, leggere attentamente le presenti istruzioni d’uso.

• Prima di collegare VAPORELLA, accertarsi che la tensione di rete corrisponda a quel­la indicata sui dati di targa dell’apparecchio e che la presa di alimentazione sia muni­ta di messa a terra.

• Non utilizzare mai alcun detergente o sostanza chimica nella caldaia. In caso di acqua
del rubinetto di durezza elevata, si consiglia l’utilizzo dello speciale decalcificante a base
naturale TP 2000 PROGRESSO CASA, in vendita presso tutti i Centri Assistenza
POLTI. Non usare in nessun caso acqua distillata.

• Ad ogni accensione dell’apparecchio, assicurarsi che il comando del getto continuo di
vapore non sia attivato.

• Prima di procedere al riempimento dell’apparecchio quando è caldo, lasciare raffred­dare la caldaia per qualche minuto.

• Durante il riempimento si raccomanda di disinserire la spina di alimentazione.

• Non svuotare mai VAPORELLA quando l’acqua all’interno della caldaia è ancora calda.

• Non immergere mai l’apparecchio nell’acqua o in altri liquidi.

• Non toccare l’apparecchio con mani e piedi bagnati quando la spina è inserita.

• Non lasciare mai l’apparecchio incustodito quando è collegato alla rete.

• Non permettere che VAPORELLA venga utilizzata da bambini o da persone che non ne
conoscano il funzionamento.

• Se VAPORELLA dovesse restare inutilizzata, si raccomanda di staccare la spina di ali­mentazione dalla rete elettrica.

1. Svitare il tappo di sicurezza (A) e riempire la caldaia con

0,9 l di normale acqua del rubinetto, badando che non
trabocchi, utilizzando l’apposito imbuto (I) (fig 1).

2. Riavvitare fino in fondo il tappo con attenzione.

3. Inserire la spina del cavo di alimentazione (D) in una

presa idonea (230 V) dotata di collegamento a terra.

4. Premere l’interruttore caldaia (B) e l’interruttore ferro (C)

che si illumineranno (fig. 2).

5. Regolare la temperatura del ferro da stiro sulla posi-

zione “COTONE - LINO” ruotando la manopola (G). A
questa temperatura è possibile stirare a vapore tutti i tipi
di tessuto.
Per la stiratura a secco, predisporre la manopola sulla
temperatura richiesta dal tessuto, ed evidenziata anche
sulla stessa (fig. 3).

Prima di lasciare la fabbrica tutti i nostri prodotti sono sottoposti a rigorosi col­laudi. Pertanto la Sua VAPORELLA contiene già dell’acqua e per il primo utiliz­zo Le raccomandiamo di non aggiungerne altra, fino al completo esaurimento
dell’erogazione del vapore.

6. Attendere che l’interruttore caldaia (B) si spenga (10
minuti circa). Premere il pulsante (H) sul ferro per avere
la fuoriuscita del vapore dai fori presenti sulla piastra.
Rilasciando il pulsante, il flusso si interrompe (fig. 4).

NOTA: Durante il primo funzionamento del ferro, dalla
piastra può verificarsi la fuoriuscita di qualche goccia
d’acqua frammista a vapore, dovuta alla non perfetta sta­bilizzazione termica. Si consiglia pertanto di non orien­tare il primo getto sul tessuto da stirare.

7. Per avere un getto continuo di vapore, agire sull’inter­ruttore (J). Il vapore continuerà ad uscire anche rila­sciando l’interruttore. Per interrompere l’erogazione
dovrà essere premuto il pulsante (H) (fig. 5).

8. Agendo sulla manopola di regolazione vapore (L) è pos­sibile variarne la quantità in funzione del tipo di tessuto
da stirare ( più o meno delicato).
Ruotando la manopola in senso antiorario aumenta il
getto di vapore. Per diminuirlo ruotare la manopola in
senso orario (fig. 6).

Questo apparecchio è dotato di un tappo di sicurezza brevettato, che impedisce l’aper­tura seppur accidentale della caldaia fino a quando esiste una minima pressione al suo
interno. Pertanto, per poterlo svitare, è necessario compiere determinate operazioni che
descriviamo qui di seguito.
Quando il ferro non eroga più vapore, procedere nel seguente modo:

1a. Spegnere l’apparecchio agendo sull’interruttore caldaia (B).
2a. Azionare il pulsante richiesta vapore (H) sul ferro da stiro fino all’esaurimento del

flusso di vapore.

3a. Staccare la spina di alimentazione (D) dalla rete elettrica.
4a. Svitare il tappo di sicurezza (A) in senso antiorario.
5a. Attendere 3-4 minuti per consentire il raffreddamento della caldaia.
6a. Effettuare il nuovo riempimento procedendo come descritto al punto 3 del paragrafo

PREPARAZIONE. Nel riempire il serbatoio a caldo, si raccomanda di procedere con
piccole porzioni d’acqua, al fine di evitare l’evaporazione istantanea dell’acqua.

• Non lasciate il ferro da stiro incustodito mentre è in funzione.

• Stirate solo su sostegni resistenti al calore e che lascino permeare il vapore.

• Assicurarsi che il tappo di sicurezza (A) sia avvitato correttamente; in caso contrario

potrebbero verificarsi fughe di vapore.

• L’interruttore caldaia (B) si illumina e si spegne durante l’utilizzo. Questo indica che la resi-

stenza elettrica è entrata in funzione per mantenere costante la pressione della caldaia. Per­tanto è possibile continuare regolarmente la stiratura, in quanto il fenomeno è normale.

• Se non esce vapore dal ferro, verificare che ci sia acqua nella caldaia e che la mano-

pola regolazione vapore (L) sia aperta.

• In caso di riparazioni o per la sostituzione dello speciale tappo di sicurezza, utilizzare
esclusivamente ricambi originali POLTI.

• L’apparecchio è provvisto di un limitatore termico di sicurezza e di una valvola di sovra­pressione per la cui sostituzione è richiesto l’intervento di un tecnico autorizzato.

• Nel caso si rendesse necessaria la sostituzione del cavo di alimentazione, si racco­manda di rivolgersi ad un Centro di Assistenza autorizzato, in quanto è necessario un
utensile speciale.

• In caso di guasto o malfunzionamento, non tentare mai di smontare l’appa-

recchio ma rivolgersi al Centro di Assistenza autorizzato più vicino. Tutti i
Centri di Assistenza autorizzati Polti sono elencati in fondo al presente
manuale.

• Prima di effettuare qualunque operazione di manutenzione, staccare sempre
la spina di alimentazione dalla rete elettrica.

• Per mantenere nel tempo un rendimento eccellente, si raccomanda di svuotare e sciac­quare la caldaia con acqua di rubinetto almeno ogni 2-3 mesi; questa operazione con­sente di eliminare i residui di calcare che si depositano sul fondo. Aumentare la fre­quenza dei risciacqui se la durezza dell’acqua utilizzata è molto elevata. In questo caso
si consiglia inoltre l’utilizzo dello speciale decalcificante a base naturale TP 2000

PROGRESSO CASA, in vendita presso tutti i Centri Assistenza POLTI.
Non svuotare mai VAPORELLA quando l’acqua nella caldaia è ancora calda.

• Per la pulizia esterna dell’apparecchio, utilizzare semplicemente un panno umido. Evita­re l’uso di solventi o detergenti che potrebbero arrecare danni alla superficie plastica.

VAPORELLA è garantita 1 anno dalla data di acquisto contro i difetti di fabbricazione e i
vizi dei materiali. La garanzia non è valida se il guasto è causato da un impiego impro­prio. In caso di guasto o malfunzionamento, contattare immediatamente il Centro Assi­stenza autorizzato più vicino. Eventuali manomissioni dell’apparecchio da parte di perso­nale non autorizzato invalideranno automaticamente la garanzia.

• La Polti S.p.A. declina tutte le responsabilità in caso di incidenti derivanti da

un utilizzo di VAPORELLA non conforme alle presenti istruzioni d’uso.

Si raccomanda di non gettare nei rifiuti domestici i materiali di imballaggio protettivi per

Con gli assi da stiro tradizionali per avere una stiratura perfetta, si deve passare mol­te volte sul tessuto con il ferro caldo per asciugarlo dai residui di umidità. Stiro Pro-
fessional Vaporella, il nuovo tavolo da stiro professionale di Polti, ha il piano riscal­dato e aspirante.

La stiratura perfetta è infatti funzione di queste due caratteristiche: dell’aspirazione che
blocca il capo sull’asse evitando il formarsi di quelle fastidiose piegoline così difficili da
eliminare sui tavoli da stiro tradizionali, e del piano riscaldato che asciuga i tessuti e
rende la stiratura più facile, più veloce e meno faticosa.

lea atentamente las instrucciones de uso.
VAPORELLA PRO 4100 R forma parte de la última generación de plan­chas profesionales. Nuestro equipo de técnicos, al proyectarla, la ha
dotado de los instrumentos adecuados para hacer que su trabajo sea
cada vez más seguro y eficiente.

• El tapón patentado de seguridad, fruto de la tecnología POLTI, impi-

de la apertura aun accidental del aparato, en presencia incluso de
una mínima presión en su interior.

• La caldera, con una capacidad de 0,9 litros construida con Extra

Al-P, una especial aleación de aluminio que impide la agresión de
la cal y garantiza una larga duración en el tiempo.

• El flujo de vapor es regulable de 0 a 50 gr/min. durante la

utilización.

• La válvula de seguridad, el termostato de seguridad y el termostato

suplementario de protección contra el funcionamiento en seco
mantienen constantemente a VAPORELLA en las más absolutas
condiciones de seguridad.

Este aparato es conforme a la normativa de la EC 89/336

• Antes de utilizar VAPORELLA, lea atentamente las presentes instrucciones de uso.

• Antes de conectar VAPORELLA, hay que asegurarse de que la tensión de la red co­rresponda a la indicada en los datos de la placa que hay en el aparato y que la toma
de alimentación esté provista de toma de tierra.

• No introducir nunca ningún detergente o sustancia química en la caldera. En caso que
el agua del grifo sea de dureza elevada, se aconseja la utilización del filtro antical de
fabricación natural TP 2000 PROGRESSO CASA, que se vende en todos los Servicios
Técnicos Oficiales de VENTA VAPOR, S.A. No usar en ningún caso agua destilada.

• Cada vez que encienda el aparato, asegúrese que el pulsador de vapor continuo no
esté activado.

• Antes de proceder al llenado del aparato cuando esté caliente, dejar enfriar la calde­ra durante algunos minutos.

• Durante el llenado se recomienda desconectar el enchufe de alimentación.

• No vaciar nunca VAPORELLA cuando el agua en el interior de la caldera esté todavía
caliente.

• No sumergir nunca el aparato en agua u otros líquidos.

• No tocar el aparato con las manos o los pies mojados cuando esté enchufado.

• No dejar nunca el aparato sin vigilancia cuando esté conectado a la red.

• No permitir que VAPORELLA sea utilizada por niños o personas que desconozcan su
funcionamiento.

• Si VAPORELLA debiese permanecer sin ser utilizada, se recomienda desconectar el
enchufe de alimentación de la red eléctrica.

1. Desenroscar el tapón patentado de seguridad (A), llenar
la caldera utilizando el embudo especial (I) con aproxi­madamente 0,9 litros de agua del grifo vigilando que no
rebose (fig. 1).

2. Volver a enroscar cuidadosamente el tapón hasta el
fondo.

3. Conectar el enchufe del cable de alimentación (D) en una
toma idónea (230 V) dotada de conexión a tierra.

4. Encender la caldera y la plancha apretando los inter­ruptores (B) y (C) que se iluminarán (fig. 2).

5. Regular la temperatura de la plancha girando el mando
(G) hasta la posición “ALGODÓN - LINO”. A esta tempe­ratura es posible planchar a vapor cualquier clase de
tejidos. En el planchado en seco, situar el mando (G) en
la temperatura requerida por el tejido, indicada en el
mismo (fig. 3).

Antes de dejar la fábrica, todos nuestros productos se someten a rigurosas prue­bas, por lo cual su VAPORELLA ya contiene agua. Le recomendamos que en la
primera utilización no añada más, hasta el completo agotamiento del suministro
de vapor.

6. Esperar a que el interruptor caldera (B) se apague
(aproximadamente 10 minutos). Presionar el pulsador (H)
de la plancha para dar salida al vapor (fig. 4). Soltando
el pulsador el flujo se interrumpe.

NOTA: Durante el primer funcionamiento de la plancha,
puede suceder que de la suela salgan algunas gotas de
agua mezclada con vapor, debida a la imperfecta esta­bilización térmica. Se aconseja no orientar el primer
chorro sobre el tejido a planchar.

7. Para conseguir un chorro de vapor continuo, apretar el
interruptor (J) (fig. 5). El vapor continuará saliendo inclu­so soltando el interruptor. Para interrumpir la salida de
vapor deberá presionar el pulsador (H).

8. Girando el mando de regulación del vapor (L) , es posi­ble variar la cantidad de salida del mismo en función del
tipo de tejido a planchar (más o menos delicado).
Girando el mando en sentido contrario a las agujas del
reloj, aumenta el chorro de vapor. Para disminuir el
mismo girar el mando en sentido inverso (fig. 6).

Este aparato está dotado de un tapón de seguridad patentado, que impide la apertura,
aun cuando sea accidental, de la caldera, incluso cuando la presión en su interior sea míni­ma. Por consiguiente, para poder desenroscarlo es necesario realizar unas determina­das operaciones, las cuales dejan a VAPORELLA en situación de absoluta seguridad para
su utilización.
Cada vez que se acaba el agua hay que proceder de la forma siguiente:

1a. Apagar el interruptor caldera (B).
2a. Accionar el pulsador demanda vapor (H) hasta el agotamiento del flujo de vapor.
3a. Desconectar el enchufe de alimentación (D) de la red eléctrica.
4a. Desenroscar el tapón de seguridad (A) en sentido opuesto a las manecillas del reloj.
5a. Esperar 3-4 minutos para permitir el enfriamiento de la caldera.
6a. Efectuar el nuevo llenado procediendo como se describe en el punto 3 del párrafo

PREPARACIÓN. En el llenado del depósito en caliente, se recomienda proceder con
pequeñas porciones de agua, a fin de evitar la evaporación instantánea del agua.

• No dejar la plancha sin vigilancia mientras está en funcionamiento.

• Planchar únicamente sobre soportes resistentes al calor y que dejen pasar el vapor.

• Asegurarse de que el tapón patentado de seguridad (A) se enrosque correctamente,

en caso contrario podrían producirse fugas de vapor.

• El interruptor caldera (B) se enciende y se apaga durante la utilización de VAPORELLA.

Eso indica que la resistencia eléctrica entra en funcionamiento para mantener la
presión constante y debe considerarse, por tanto, un fenómeno normal.

• Si no sale vapor de la plancha, controlar que la caldera tenga agua y que el mando de

regulación del vapor (L) esté abierto.

• En caso de reparaciones o sustitución del tapón de seguridad especial, utilizar exclu­sivamente recambios originales POLTI.

• El aparato está provisto de un limitador térmico de seguridad cuya sustitución requie­re la intervención de un Servicio Oficial.

• En caso de que fuese necesaria la sustitución del cable de alimentación, se reco­mienda dirigirse a un Centro de Asistencia autorizado, ya que es necesario un uten­silio especial.

• En caso de avería o mal funcionamiento, no intentar nunca desmontar el apa-

rato y dirigirse al Centro de Asistencia autorizado más próximo. Todos los
Centros de Asistencia autorizados Polti se indican al final del presente manual.

• Antes de efectuar cualquier operación de mantenimiento, desconectar siem­pre el enchufe de alimentación de la red eléctrica.

• Para mantener a lo largo del tiempo un rendimiento excelente, se recomienda vaciar
y enjuagar la caldera al menos cada 2/3 meses; esta operación permite eliminar resi­duos calcáreos que se depositan en el fondo de la misma. Si la dureza del agua utili­zada es muy elevada, aumentar la frecuencia de los enjuagues. No vaciar nunca

VAPORELLA cuando el agua de la caldera esté todavía caliente.

• Para la limpieza externa del aparato, utilizar simplemente un paño húmedo. Evitar el
uso de disolventes o detergentes que podrían dañar la superficie plástica.

VAPORELLA está garantizada por un año desde la fecha de compra contra defectos de
fabricación y faltas de los materiales. La garantía no es válida si la avería ha sido causa­da por un uso inadecuado. En caso de avería o mal funcionamiento, hay que ponerse en
contacto inmediatamente con el Centro de Asistencia autorizado más cercano. Los even­tuales desperfectos del aparato causados por personal no autorizado invalidarán automá­ticamente la garantía.

POLTI S.P.A. declina toda responsabilidad en caso de accidentes derivados de
una utilización de VAPORELLA no conforme a las presentes instrucciones de uso.

Con las tablas de planchar tradicionales, para conseguir un planchado perfecto,
se debe pasar la plancha muchas veces sobre el tejido para secarlo de los residuos
de humedad. La Stiro Professional Vaporella posee una superficie caliente y aspi­rante.

El planchado perfecto es, efectivamente, el resultado de ambas características: de la aspi-
ración que bloquea la prenda sobre la tabla evitando la formación de esas molestas arru­guitas tan difíciles de eliminar en las tablas de planchar tradicionales, y de la superficie

VAPORELLA PRO 4100 R fait partie de la dernière génération de fers

appareil d’accessoires pour rendre le travail toujours plus rapide, sûr

Le bouchon de sécurité, brevet exclusif POLTI, interdit l’ouver­ture de la cuve tant qu’il subsiste la moindre pression à l’intérieur
de la cuve.

• La cuve en alliage Extra Al-P d’une capacité de 0,9 litre est

construite dans un alliage spécial développé par POLTI qui résiste
totalement à l’agression du calcaire et garantit une excellente

• Avant d’utiliser VAPORELLA, lire attentivement cette notice d’instruction.

• Vous assurer que la tension d’alimentation correspond à la tension indiquée sur la pla­que signalétique collée sous le produit et que la prise d’alimentation est pourvue d’u­ne mise à la terre.

• Ne jamais utiliser de détergent chimique dans la chaudière. Au cas oú l’eau du robinet
a un taux de dureté élevé, utiliser le système anti-tartre spécial à base naturelle

N’utilisez en aucun case de l’eau distilée.

• A chaque branchement de l’appareil, s’assurer que le bouton du jet de vapeur conti­nue n’est pas en marche.

• Avant de procéder au re-remplissage de la cuve de l’appareil quand il n’y a plus d’eau,
laisser la cuve se refroidir quelques minutes.

• Durant le remplissage de l’appareil, débrancher la prise secteur.

• Ne jamais retourner le VAPORELLA quand l’eau dans la cuve est encore chaude.

• Ne jamais placer l’appareil dans de l’eau ou autre liquide.

• Ne pas toucher l’appareil avec les mains ou les pieds mouillés quand la prise secteur
est branchée.

• Ne pas laisser l’appareil sans surveillance quand il est branché.

• Ne pas autoriser l’utilisation de l’appareil par des petits enfants ou des personnes ne
connaissant pas son fonctionnement.

• Si votre VAPORELLA reste inutilisé, débrancher la prise d’alimentation.

1. Dévisser le bouchon de sécurité (A) et remplir la cuve
d’eau du robinet en utilisant l’entonnoir (I) (fig. 1). Ne
jamais remplir complètement la cuve. Remplir au 2/3 de
la contenance de la cuve (par exemple 1 litre pour une
contenance de 0.9 litre).

2. Revisser à fond le bouchon de sécurité.

3. Brancher la prise d’alimentation secteur sur une prise
230 V dotée d’une mise à la terre.

4. Actionner l’interrupteur de la chaudière (B) et l’interrup­teur du fer (C) qui s’allument (fig. 2).

5. Régler la température du fer sur la position “COTON ­LIN“(fig. 3) en tournant le thermostat du fer (G). On peut
repasser tous les textiles avec la vapeur.
Pour le repassage à sec, tourner le bouton du thermo­stat (G) sur la position correspondant au tissu que vous
voulez repasser.

Tous les appareils sont testés rigoureusement en fin de chaîne de production.
C’est pourquoi votre VAPORELLA peut contenir encore un peu d’eau. Nous vous
recommandons de vidanger cette eau avant de remplir de nouveau la cuve.

6. Attendre que l’interrupteur chaudière s’éteigne (10 min.

environ.). Appuyer sur l’interrupteur (H) pour avoir la sor­tie de la vapeur par les trous placés sous la semelle.
Relâcher l’interrupteur et la pression s’interrompt (fig. 4).

NOTA: En début d’utilisation, quelques gouttes d’eau
peuvent sortir tant que le flexible n’a pas atteint une
température qui évite toute condensation. Nous vous
conseillons d’orienter le premier jet sur une chiffonnette
pour recueillir ces gouttes d’eau.

7. Pour obtenir un jet de vapeur continu, appuyer sur l’in-

terrupteur (J). La vapeur continue sort toujours, même
si l’on relâche l’interrupteur. Pour interrompre la vapeur,
il faut appuyer sur le bouton (H) (fig. 5).

8. En tournant le bouton de réglage du débit vapeur (L), on

fait varier la quantité de vapeur en fonction du type de
tissu à repasser. Tourner le bouton dans le sens inver­se des aiguilles d’une montre pour avoir le maximum de
vapeur. Pour diminuer, tourner le bouton dans le sens
inverse (fig. 6).

VAPORELLA est équipé d’un bouchon de sécurité breveté qui empêche toute ouverture
de la cuve tant qu’il reste de la pression résiduelle dans la cuve. Ce bouchon vous garan­tit une sécurité totale d’utilisation.
Pour remplir à nouveau la cuve de VAPORELLA, vous devez procéder comme suit :

1a. Couper la résistance de chauffe en appuyant sur l’interrupteur chauffe (B).
2a. Actionner le bouton vapeur sur le fer (H) pour faire sortir toute la vapeur et évacuer

la pression résiduelle. Maintenir cette action pendant 1 mn même si vous ne voyez
plus de vapeur sortir car la pression dans la cuve doit être totalement éliminée.

3a. Relâcher le bouton (H) lorsqu’en faisant tourner le bouchon de sécurité de l’autre main

vous constatez qu’il ne tourne plus dans le vide. Débrancher alors la prise d’alimen­tation (D).

4a. Dévisser complètement le bouchon de sécurité (A).
5a. Attendre 3 - 4 minutes le refroidissement de la cuve.
6a. Effectuer le remplissage en procédant comme indiqué au point 3 du chapitre prépa-

ration. Si vous voulez réduire le temps de chauffe, vous pouvez mettre de l’eau chau­de dans la cuve.

• Ne pas laisser le fer pressing branché sans surveillance.

• Repasser uniquement des tissus résistant à la chaleur et qui laissent passer la vapeur.

• Visser avec attention le bouchon de sécurité (A) pour éviter toute fuite de vapeur quand
l’appareil est en fonctionnement.

• L’interrupteur de la chaudière (B) s’allume et s’éteint en cours d’utilisation. Ceci est
normal et indique seulement que la résistance électrique est activée afin de maintenir
la pression dans la cuve.

• En cas de réparation ou de remplacement du bouchon de sécurité, utiliser exclusive­ment le bouchon de sécurité POLTI.

• L’appareil est muni d’un limiteur thermique de sécurité. Si ce dernier a disjoncté,
adressez-vous uniquement aux centres de service après-vente agréés.

• Le câble d’alimentation de l’appareil ne doit être changé que par des personnes
qualifiées.

• En cas de panne ou de disfonctionnement de l’appareil, ne jamais essayer de

le démonter mais contacter le point de service après-vente le plus proche.

• Avant d’effectuer une quelconque opération d’entretien, il est nécessaire de
débrancher la prise d’alimentation secteur.

• Afin que l’appareil puisse longtemps offrir une excellente efficacité, nous vous con­seillons de le vider et de nettoyer la cuve uniquement avec de l’eau du robinet 2 à 3
fois par mois. Ceci vous permettra d’enlever les restes de calcaire qui s’accumulent
sur le fond de l’appareil. VAPORELLA ne doit pas être vidé lorsque l’eau à l’inté-

rieur de la chaudière est encore chaude.

• Pour nettoyer la coque plastique de l’appareil, nous vous recommandons l’utilisation
d’un chiffon humide. Eviter l’usage de solvant ou produit détergent qui pourrait endom­mager la superficie du plastique.

VAPORELLA est garanti pendant 1 an à compter de la date d’achat contre tous défauts
de fabrication. Les pannes dues à l’entartrage ou à une mauvaise utilisation du produit sont
exclues de la garantie. En cas de panne, ne pas essayer de démonter l’appareil mais con­tacter le point SAV le plus proche.
La garantie est uniquement valable si vous avez renvoyé la carte de garantie entièrement
remplie. La garantie ne pourra s’appliquer que sur présentation de la facture originale d’a­chat indiquant la date d’achat de l’appareil.

• Der Sicherheitsverschluß (exklusives POLTI-Patent), der sich schon

bei geringstem Druck nicht mehr öffnen läßt.

• Der Kesselinhalt beträgt 0,9 l und ist aus Extra-Al-P gearbeitet.

Dadurch wird eine Kalkablagerung verhindert und eine lange

• Lesen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch, um Schä­den und Gefahren durch nicht ordnungsgemäßen Gebrauch zu vermeiden.

• Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an die auf dem Typenschild angegebene Netzspannung an.

• Füllen Sie die Bügelstation ausschließlich mit normalem Leitungswasser. Wenn Ihr
Leitungswasser sehr hart ist, wird die Benutzung von unserem Entkalkmittel TP 2000
PROGRESSO CASA vorgeschlagen, das aus natürlichen Basen entsteht und in
allen Polti Kundendiensten verkauft wird. Mischen Sie keine chemischen oder

sonstigen Reinigungsmittel hinzu. Verwenden Sie nie Destillatwasser.

• Jedesmal Sie den Gerät einschalten, versichern Sie sich, daß die Schaltung für einen
stufenlosen Dampfstrahl nicht aktiviert ist.

• Beim Nachfüllen von Wasser in den noch erhitzen Kessel füllen Sie das Wasser bitte
langsam, in kleinen Portionen ein, damit kein heißes Wasser herausspritzen kann.

• Während des Auffüllens den Netzstecker ziehen.

• Leeren Sie das Gerät nie, wenn das Wasser im Innern des Kessels noch heiß ist - Ver­brühungsgefahr!

• Das Gerät nicht in oder unter Wasser halten oder durch Wasser ziehen.

• Lassen Sie das Gerät während des Betriebs nicht unbeaufsichtig.

• Das Gerät darf nicht von Kindern verwendet werden. Bitte beachten Sie, daß Kinder,
solange das Gerät noch heiß ist, von diesem fernzuhalten sind.

• Bei Nichtbenutzung, bitte das Gerät vom elektrischen Netz trennen.

1. Den patentierten Sicherheitsverschluß (A) öffnen und den

Druckkessel mit ca. 0,9 Leitungswasser füllen. Bitte
darauf achten, daß das Wasser nicht überläuft (Bild 1).

2. Den Verschluß bis zum Ende zudrehen.

3. Das Stromkabel (D) an die Netzsteckdose anschließen,

welche die für dieses Gerät vorgeschriebene Spannung
hat.

4. Schalten Sie den Kessel und das Bügeleisen durch

Drücken der Schalter (B) und (C) ein; es leuchtet die
Kontrollampe (Bild 2).

5. Den Temperaturregler (G) auf die Position “BAUMWOLLE

- LEINEN” drehen. Bei dieser Temperatur können alle
Stoffarten dampfgebügelt werden.
Bei Trockenbügeln den Regler (G) auf die vom Stoff
benötigte Temperatur drehen. Die einzelnen Tempera­turen sind auf den Regler gekennzeichnet (Bild 3).

Bevor unsere Produkte das Werk verlassen, werden sie strengsten Qualitäts­kontrollen unterzogen. In Ihrer VAPORELLA ist bereits Wasser eingefüllt. Füllen
Sie daher kein Wasser nach, bis dieses verbraucht ist.

6. Warten Sie ca. 10 Minuten, bis die Kontrollampe (B)
erlischt. Zur Dampfabgabe den Knopf (H) betätigen,
damit der Dampf an der Bügeleisensohle austreten kann
(Bild 4). Beim Loslassen des Knopfs wird die Dampfab­gabe unterbrochen.
Während der ersten Benutzung des Bügeleisens können
kleine Wassertröpfchen aus der Bügelsohle treten. Es ist
ratsam, den ersten Dampfstrahl auf ein Tuch zu richten,
um restliches Kondenswasser aufzufangen.

7. Für eine stufenlosen Dampfstrahl drücken Sie den Knopf
(J). Der Druck wird weiter auskommen, auch wenn Sie
den Knopf loslassen. Um die Versorgung zu unterbre­chen, betätigen Sie den Knopf (H) (Bild 5).

8. Mit dem Drehknopf (L) können Sie den Dampfdruck, je
nach Stoffart einstellen. Mit Drehrichtung nach links,
erhöhen Sie den Dampfdruck (Bild 6).

Der patentierte Sicherheitsverschluß verhindert das Öffnen des unter Druck stehenden
Kessels.
Wenn das Wasser in dem Kessel verbraucht ist, wie folgt vorgehen:

1a. Drücken Sie den Schalter des Dampfkessels (B) aus.
2a. Drücken Sie solange den Druckeschalter (H) des Bügeleisens, bis kein Dampf mehr

ausstritt.
3a. Netzstecker ziehen.
4a. Sicherheitsverschluß öffnen.
5a. 3-4 Minuten warten, wenn der Kessel abgekühlt ist.
6a. Den Druckkessel füllen. Beim Nachfüllen des noch heißen Generatorkessels beginnen

Sie langsam und in kleinen Portionen mit dem Füllen. So vermeiden Sie extreme

Dampfentwicklung.

• Lassen Sie das Bügeleisen nicht unbeaufsichtig, während es ans Netz angeschlossen ist.

• Bügeln Sie nur auf dampfdurchlässigen, hitzeunempfindlichen Unterlagen.

• Den Sicherheitsverschluß vollständig zudrehen, um Dampfaustritte während des

Gebrauchs des Gerätes zu verhindern.

• Prüfen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme die Anschlußleitung und den Dampfschlauch.

• Der Dampf darf nicht auf Personen, unter Spannung stehende Anlagen oder auf das

Gerät selbst gerichtet werden.

• Die Netzanschlußleitung muß von heißen Geräteteilen ferngehalten werden.

• Den Bügelvorgang fortsetzen, auch wenn die Kontrollampe (B) aufleuchtet und wieder

verlöscht. Die Lampe zeigt an, daß die Heizung zur Aufrechterhaltung des Betriebs­drucks eingeschaltet ist.

• Sollte kein Dampf austreten, bitte prüfen, ob Wasser in dem Druckkessel ist und der

Dampfregler (L) aufgedreht ist.

• Im Falle von Reparaturen oder Austausch eines beliebigen Bestandteiles, insbesonde-

re des patentierten Sicherheitsverschlußes, bitte ausschließlich Original POLTI-Ersatz­teile verwenden.

• Das Gerät ist mit einem Sichereits-Wärmeregler ausgestattet, der nur von einem kom-

petenten Techniker ausgetauscht werden sollte.

• Das Anschlußkabel darf nur durch qualifiziertes Fachpersonal ausgetauscht werden.

VAPORELLA PRO 4100 R is one of the latest generation of profes­sional irons. Our team of design engineers has equipped it with fea­tures to make it work even more safely and efficiently:

• The patented safety cap, a result of POLTI’s technology, which pre-

vents the device being opened (including by accident) if there is the
slightest pressure inside it.

• The 0.9 litre capacity generator is made of Extra Al-P, a special alu-

minium alloy which guarantees its long life and prevents limescale
build up.

• The steam pressure can be varied at will with fingertip control from

0 to 50 gr./min.

• Vaporella is equipped with a safety valve, a safety thermostat and

an additional thermostat which prevents operation of the machine
when it is empty, and which maintains Vaporella in an absolutely
safe condition at all times.

• Before using your Vaporella carefully read these usage instructions.

• Before connecting Vaporella to the mains make sure that the current is the same as
indicated for the machine and that the plug is an earthed plug.

• Do not introduce any detergent or chemical substance into the generator tank.
If your tap water is very hard, please use our special decalcifier TP 2000

PROGRESSO CASA with a natural basis, which is sold in all Polti services.
Do not use in any case distilled water.

• Switching on the appliance, be sure that the button for continuous steam jet has not
been activated.

• Do not refill the tank while it is still hot, allow it to cool down for a few minutes before
refilling.

• During filling and refilling we recommend you to disconnect the appliance from the
mains supply.

• Never empty Vaporella when the water inside the generator tank is still hot.

• Do not place the appliance in water or in any other liquids.

• Do not touch the appliance with wet hands or feet whilst the appliance is connected
to the mains.

• Never leave the appliance unattended whilst it is connected to the mains.

• Do not allow Vaporella to be used by children or by people who are not familiar with
the usage instructions.

• We recommend that the appliance is disconnected from the mains whenever it is not
in use.

1. Unscrew the patented safety cap (A) and fill the boiler

with about 0.9 litres of ordinary tap water using the
special funnel (I) making sure that it does not overflow
(fig. 1).

2. Retighten the cap fully and carefully.

3. Connect the power supply cable (D) into an earthed

power supply of the correct voltage (230V - 240V).

4. Switch on the boiler and iron by pressing the switches

(B) and (C) which will light up (fig. 2).

5. Set the iron temperature to the “COTTON - LINEN” steam

position (fig. 3), by turning the knob (G). All types of fab­ric can be ironed at this temperature.
When dry ironing, set the knob (G) to the required tem­perature for the fabric, shown on the rotating indicator.

Before leaving our factory all our products are rigorously tested. For this rea­son your Vaporella contains a small quantity of water and on first use we
recommend that you do not add further water until all existing water in the tank
has been exhausted and allowed to escape as steam.

6. Wait for the generator on/off switch (B) to go out (about
10 minutes). Push button (H) on the iron to release bursts
of steam from the holes on the soleplate. Release the
button and the steam will stop (fig. 4).

NOTE: during initial operation of the iron, a few drops
of water mixed with steam may come out of the soleplate
until the temperature stabilises. It is advisable to direct
the first jets of steam onto an old cloth until a uniform
stable jet of steam is obtained.

7. In order to have a continuous steam jet, press the button
(J). Steam will keep on coming out, even releasing the
button. To interrupt the outlet press button (H) (fig. 5).

8. By turning the steam flow control knob (L) you can vary
the amount of steam according to the type of textile to
be ironed (more or less delicate). You can use this con­trol to increase the steam flow by turning in anti-clock­wise direction. Turning the control in a clockwise direc­tion reduces the steam flow (fig. 6).

All Polti machines are equipped with the unique Polti patented safety cap, which prevents
opening of the generator tank as long as there is any pressure remaining inside the tank.
This is an important and indispensable safety device, and it is necessary to follow certain
procedures when re-filling the tank.
Whenever when you have used up all the water in the tank, do as follow :

1a. Switch off the machine at the generator on/off switch (B).
2a. Press the steam request button on the iron (H) so as to fully exhaust the steam

supply from the tank.

3a. Disconnect the power supply cable (D) from the mains.
4a. Unscrew anti-clockwise the patented safety cap (A).
5a. Wait 3 or 4 minutes to allow the generator tank to cool down.
6a. When cool proceed to carefully refill the tank as described in paragraph 3 of the sec-

tion “PREPARATION FOR USE” in the instructions. If refilling the generator when not
completely cooled, we recommend that you carefully pour only very small quantities
of water at each pouring into the tank, so as to avoid spitting from the tank.

• Do not leave the iron unattended whilst connected to the mains.

• Iron only on heat resistant surfaces and on surfaces that allow the steam to escape
e. g. mash ironing boards.

• Ensure the patented safety cap is fully and correctly screwed on, otherwise you may
experience steam escaping from around the cap.

• The generator on/off switch (B) may go on and off from time to time during use of
Vaporella. This indicates the machine maintaining the correct and constant pressure
and is quite normal.

• If no steam is released from the iron, check the following: there is water in the boiler;
the steam control switch (L) is set to one of the “Steam” settings.

• If repairs or replacement parts are required, and in particular the special safety cap,
use only original Polti replacement parts.

• The appliance is fitted with a safety thermostat, which should only be replaced by an
authorised technician.

• If it is necessary to replace the power supply cable, please refer to the nearest Polti
authorised service centre, since the use of special tool is necessary.

• In the case of breakdown or malfunction do not attempt to repair the

appliance yourself but refer to your nearest authorised service centre.

• Before attempting any maintenance operation, be sure to always disconnect

• To clean the body of the appliance, simply use a moist cloth. Do not use solvents or

• Lees voordat u de VAPORELLA gebruikt, deze instructies aandachtig door.

• Controleer voordat u de VAPORELLA aansluit, of de netspanning overeenkomt met de
gegevens op het typeplaatje op het apparaat en of het stopcontact geaard is.

• Nooit reinigingsmiddelen of chemicaliën in de ketel doen. Bij hard leidingwater, moet
u gebruik waken van de ontkalker TP 2000 PROGRESSO CASA, te kopen bij de
Polti verdeler. In geen geval gedistilleerd water gebruiken.

• Steeds als het apparaat wordt ingeschakeld, dient u er goed op te letten dat de
continu stoomuitstroming uitgeschakeld staat.

• Laat de ketel, als deze nog warm is, enkele minuten afkoelen alvorens hem te vullen.

• Verwijder de stekker uit het stopcontact alvorens de verhittingsketel opnieuw te
vullen.

• De VAPORELLA nooit leegmaken wanneer er nog warm water in zit.

• Het apparaat nooit onderdompelen in water of in andere vloeistoffen.

• Het apparaat nooit aanraken wanneer de stekker in het stopcontact zit en uw handen
of voeten zich in water bevinden.

• Het apparaat nooit onbewaakt achterlaten wanneer de stekker in het stopcontact zit.

1. Draai de veiligheidsschroefdop los (A) en vul de ketel met
kraantjeswater met behulp van de trechter (I). Vermijd dat
het water overloopt (fig. 1).

2. Draai de veiligheidsdop stevig en met aandacht dicht.

3. Stop de stekker van de voedingskabel (D) in een geaard
stopcontact waar een spanning van 230 V op staat.

4. Druk op de schakelaars van de verhittingsketel en het
strijkijzer (B) en (C). De controlelampjes gaat branden
(fig. 2).

5. Regel de temperatuur van het strijkijzer door knop (G) te
draaien en kies stand “COTONE - LINO”. Op deze tem­peratuur is het mogelijk alle soorten van textiel met
stoom te strijken.
Om droog te strijken: plaats knop (G) op de temperatuur,
voorgeschreven voor de aard van het textiel dat dient
gestreken te worden (fig. 3).

Voordat onze produkten de fabriek verlaten, worden ze allemaal onderworpen
aan strenge controles. Daarom zit er al water in uw VAPORELLA. Wij bevelen u
dan ook aan om bij het eerste gebruik geen water toe te voegen totdat er
helemaal geen stoom meer vrijkomt.

5. Wacht tot het controlelampje van de schakelaar ketel (B)
uitgaat. Door het duwen op (H) krijgt u een stoom straal
uit alle gaten van de zool. Door het vrijlaten stopt u de
stoomdebiet (fig. 4).

AANDACHT: Bij het eerste gebruik is het mogelijk dat
er enkele druppeltjes uit de openingen van de zool
komen. Dit wordt veroorzaakt door tijdelijke thermische
labiliteit. Daarom raden we aan de eerste stoomstraal te
richten op een lap.

7. Voor een continu stoomuitstroming dient knop (J)
ingedrukt te worden. Er vindt een constante toevoer van
stoom plaats, ook als knop wordt losgelaten. Om de
toevoer te onderbreken dient knop (H) ingedrukt te
worden.

8. U gebruikt de stoomdebietknop (L) voor:

- delicate stoom: draai de knop een weinig in die aan-

gewezen zin;

- normale stoom: draai de knop wat verder;

- super stoom: draai de knop volledig in de aangewezen

zin.

Dit apparaat is voorzien van een gepatenteerde veiligheidsdop die ervoor zorgt dat de ketel
niet, zelfs niet per ongeluk, kan worden geopend zolang er ook maar een minimale druk
op de ketel staat. Om de dop te openen moeten er een paar handelingen worden verricht
waardoor de VAPORELLA in een voor de gebruiker absoluut veilige toestand komt.
Steeds wanneer het water op is, moet u als volgt te werk gaan:

1a. Zet het apparaat uit met de ketelschakelaar (B).
2a. Druk net zolang op de stoomknop op het strijkijzer (H) totdat er geen stoom meer

komt.

3a. Haal de stekker (D) uit het stopcontact.
4a. Maak de veiligheidsdop (A) los door deze tegen de wijzers van de klok in te draaien.
5a. Wacht 3 tot 4 minuten totdat de ketel is afgekoeld.
6a. Vul de ketel zoals aangegeven in punt 3 van de paragraaf VOORBEREIDING.

Wanneer het reservoir nog warm is, adviseren we met kleine hoeveelheden water te
werken om te voorkomen dat het water meteen verdampt.

• Laat het strijkijzer niet onbewaakt achter wanneer het aan staat.

• Gebruik alleen strijkplanken die bestand zijn tegen hitte en die stoom doorlaten.

• Verzeker U ervan dat de veiligheidsschroefdop (A) stevig gesloten is tijdens het gebruik,

zoniet zou er tijdens het functioneren stoom kunnen ontsnappen langs de dop.

• Het lampje van de schakelaar ketel (B) gaat af en toe aan en uit wanneer u met de

VAPORELLA werkt. Dit betekent dat de elektrische weerstand weer gaat werken om
de druk constant te houden. Dit verschijnsel is dus normaal.

• In geval van herstelling of vervanging van onderdelen en in het bijzonder de veili­gheidsschroefdop, vraag enkel onderdelen van POLT I oorsprong.

• Het toestel is voorzien van een thermische beveiliging. Wanneer deze laatste gespron­gen is dient U zich uitsluitend te richten tot een officiële naverkoops-dienst-centrum.

• Als de voedingskabel moet worden vervangen, kunt u het beste naar een officieel
technisch centrum gaan, omdat u speciaal gereedschap nodig heeft.

• Wanneer het apparaat stuk is of slecht werkt, probeer het dan niet te demon-

teren, maar ga naar de dichtstbijzijnde officiële technische centrum. Alle
officiële technische centra van Polti staan achter in dit handboek.

• Alvorens onderhoud te plegen, haalt u de stekker uit het stopcontact.

• Om in de loop der tijd het rendement optimaal te houden, raden wij u aan om minstens
om de twee à drie maanden de ketel leeg te maken en om te spoelen met kraanwa­ter. Op deze manier haalt u kalkresten weg die zich op de bodem afzetten. Nooit de

VAPORELLA leeg maken wanneer het water in de ketel nog warm is.

• Gebruik voor het reinigen van de buitenkant van het apparaat alleen een vochtige doek.
Vermijd oplosmiddelen of reinigingsmiddelen die het plastic oppervlak kunnen bescha­digen.

De VAPORELLA heeft een garantie van 1 jaar tegen fabricage- en materiaalfouten, ingaan­de op de datum van aankoop. De garantie geldt niet wanneer de schade is veroorzaakt
door oneigenlijk gebruik. Wanneer het apparaat stuk is of slecht werkt, neem dan onmid­dellijk contact op met het dichtstbijzijnde officiële technisch centrum. Wanneer het appa­raat eventueel wordt beschadigd door onbevoegd personeel, vervalt de garantie onmid­dellijk.

• De firma POLTI S.p.A. wijst iedere aansprakelijkheid van de hand voor inci-

denten die zijn ontstaan doordat de VAPORELLA niet conform de gebruik­saanwijzing is gebruikt.
