LCi-IP Series

LCi-IP—The World’s First Active

Internet Protocol Addressable Speakers.

The LCi-IP Series are the world’s first High Performance active
Internet Protocol addressable loudspeakers. Digital amplifiers,
electronic crossovers and DSP (Digital Signal Processing) circuitry
are built into the speakers to deliver a wealth of demonstrable
convenience and performance benefits.

When paired with multi-room IP systems like the NetStreams
Digilinx™, the LCi-IP Series will provide the greatest performance
and control functionality delivering uncompressed, full-fidelity
digital audio signals from any source on the network. The built-in
digital amplifiers and crossovers bi-amplify (or tri-amplifly in the
case of the three-way LC265i-IP) the loudspeakers for more
accurate, lower distortion audio performance, while integrated
Digital Signal Processing (DSP) electronics provide sophisticated
sound tailoring to optimize the performance of the speaker for the
room and the speaker locations.

While the LCi-IP Series provides the greatest functionality when
used within an IP-based system such as NetStreams DigilinX™
system, these speakers are compatible with any analog distributed
audio system.

streaming packet-switched audio in WAV or MP-3 format and TCP-IP control.

• Connects to IP distribution systems with Ethernet cable

• Pure digital signal all the way to the drivers, with no losses and perfect fidelity

• Speakers automatically announce themselves to the system

Room Optimization Software.

Integrators will access the DSP using a laptop PC connected via a
mini USB port on the front baffle of the speaker or through the
network when used in an IP network Polk will supply integrators
with a PC-based software interface that makes the speaker position
and room acoustics optimization virtually foolproof.

Required SPS-I Power Supply (not included)

A single SPS-I Power Supply can power up to one pair of LC265i-IP speakers or two pair of LC80i-IP
