Polaroid’s ID-100 Instant Photo Identification System provides
reliability, affordability and mobility all in one, making it the most
convenient way to produce highly tamper-resistant ID cards
or badges.
Get instant results within minutes with the photo security
system that really is Polaroid’s best value. Quickly and effortlessly
produce full-color ID cards on the spot with the point-and-shoot
system that can issue up to 150 cards per hour. The ID-100’s
compact, self-contained styling allows you to quickly set up your
ID operation. Simply tilt the camera head up for picture-taking,
tilt the camera head down for storage and transport. And the
convenient carrying handle makes it easy to move your system
from building to building, or from room to room for each ID session.
A ”layered“ approach to security.
An internal validation plate allows you to combine data with
a portrait onto one sheet of film. Combining all elements
simultaneously eliminates errors and opportunities for alteration.
The validation plate is available in 10 different standard photo
locations. The size and position of the photo location can be customized to meet your specific identification needs. The validation
plate can also be customized to include a logo or signature that
will appear on all of your ID cards for added security. Also, in
“wet” photo applications, the film and laminate form a molecular
bond that’s virtually tamper-proof.
The ID-100 uses several Polaroid instant films, including
Polacolor ER Type 669 and Polacolor ID Ultraviolet films.

Advanced operational features.
The ID-100 incorporates sophisticated
features to enhance your picture-taking
operations. The LED indicator panel
shows step-by-step instructions from
start to finish, so mistakes are virtually
impossible. The card selector feature
allows you to choose between taking
two identical or two individual ID cards on
each sheet of film. The visible aiming light
ensures accurate portrait composition
every time. The face brightener adjusts
a single exposure for subjects with dark
complexions to capture the most accurate
image possible. Electronic timers emit
an audible tone when instant film
development is complete.
With the ID-100 you can create
horizontal or vertical ID cards that are
fully compatible with most access-control
systems. Finished ID cards can be printed
with additional information on the
laminates, or equipped with a magnetic
stripe for added functionality.

Ultraviolet films defy
tampering. That’s
because the film has
an invisible security
pattern printed right
into it. This pattern,
which can be easily
seen under ultraviolet
light, is destroyed
when a card is altered.
So forgeries are easy
to detect.
