1. Introduction

Congratulations on your purchase of the Philips SRU 7060 universal remote control. After installing the remote control you can operate a maximum of 6 different appliances with it: TV, DVD player/recorder, STB (settop box, satellite tuner/cable decoder), AMP (amplifier/receiver),VCR and CD player/recorder. You can find information about how to prepare this remote control for use in the chapter ‘Installing the remote control’.

2. Installing the remote control

Inserting the batteries 1 Press the cover inwards and slide it in the

direction of the arrow.

2 Place two AA type batteries into the battery

compartment, as shown.

3 Slide the cover back and click it firmly into place.

Testing the remote control

The remote control has been programmed to operate most Philips appliances. Because the SRU 7060 may use different signals for each brand and even for different models of the same brand, it is advisable to test whether your appliance responds to the SRU 7060. The example below (TV) instructs you how to do this. You can repeat the same steps for other appliances (DVD,VCR, etc.) which you want to operate using the SRU 7060.

Example of TV:

1 Turn your TV on manually or use the original remote control.

2 Select the device mode TV with the

SELECT key. Press the SELECT key until the light around the Standby key lights up. To select the other devices press the SELECT key several times until the label of the device you want to operate, lights up. If neither the Standby key nor one of the labels light up, check whether the batteries are properly inserted (see ‘Inserting the batteries’).

3 Check whether all the keys are working.

For an overview of the keys and their functions see ‘3. Keys and functions’.

– If the TV responds as it should to all of the

key commands the SRU 7060 is ready for use.

• If the device does not respond at all or not to all of the key commands, follow the instructions under ‘Setting the remote control’, or for online setup go to: www.philips.com/urc.

Setting the remote control

This is only necessary if your appliance does not respond to the SRU 7060. If that is the case, the SRU 7060 does not recognize the brand and/or model of your appliance and you need to program the remote control to do so. The example below (TV) instructs you how to do this. You can repeat the same steps for other appliances (DVD,VCR, etc.) which you want to operate using the SRU 7060.

Automatically setting the remote control

The remote control will now automatically search for the right code for your device.

Example TV:

1 Make sure the TV is switched on and select a channel using the original

remote control or the keys on the TV (for example channel 1).

• If the device is a DVD-player/recorder or VCR, insert a disk or tape and start playback.

2 Select the device mode TV with the

SELECT key. Press the SELECT key until the light around the Standby key lights up.

3 Then keep keys 1 and 3 pressed

simultaneously for three seconds until the

light around the Standby key blinks twice and then remains lit.

4 Press and hold the Standby key of

the SRU 7060 briefly.

– The SRU 7060 now starts emitting all known

‘TV off’ signals, one by one. Each time a code is sent, the light around the Standby key lights up.

5 When your TV switches off (standby),

release the Standby key of the SRU 7060 immediately.

– The SRU 7060 has now found a code that

works on your TV.

6 Check if you can operate all functions on your TV with the SRU 7060.

• If this is not the case, you can redo the automatic setting.The SRU 7060 will then search for a code that perhaps works better.

– After the SRU 7060 has run through all the known codes, the search

will stop automatically and the light will stop blinking.

– Automatic programming of a TV takes a maximum of 3 minutes.

For DVD, CD, VCR, AMP and STB this time is 2 minutes.

Manually setting the remote control

Example TV:

1 Turn on the TV manually or use the original remote control.

Tune in to channel 1.

2 Look up the brand of your TV in the

code list at the back of this manual. One or more four-figure codes are shown for each brand. Note the first code.

Be careful! There are separate tables for TV,VCR, DVD, etc.

On our website www.philips.com/urc you can directly select your device typenumber to find the right code.

Make sure you use the codes from the correct table.

3 Select the device mode TV with the

SELECT key. Press the SELECT key until the light around the Standby key lights up.

4 Then keep keys 1 and 3 pressed

simultaneously for three seconds until the light around the Standby key blinks twice and then remains lit.

5 Enter the code noted in step 2, using the digit keys.

– The light will now blink twice.

If the light blinks once for an extended period, the code has not been entered properly or the wrong code has been entered. Start again from step 2.

6 Point the SRU 7060 at the TV and check that it responds as it should.

– If the TV responds to all of the key commands, the SRU 7060 is ready

for use. Do not forget to note your code.

• If the device does not respond at all, or not to all of the key commands, start again from step 2 and try the next code from the list.

3. Keys and functions

The illustration on page 3 gives an overview of all keys and their functions.

1 y Standby. . . . . . . . . switches the remote control on or off.

learning mode.

Try out other combinations with the SHIFT-key on your appliance in order to find out which functions are available. Only functions featured on the original remote control are available.

selects the device you want to operate: TV,VCR, STB (settop box, satellite tuner/cable decoder), AMP, DVD or CD.The corresponding device indicator lights up in the selector window (for TV this is the LED around the Standby (y) key).

If the device does not respond at all, or not to all of the key commands, follow the instructions under ‘Setting the remote control’. It is possible that you must enter another code for the device.

4. Extra possibilities

Programming Macros

A macro allows you to automate actions you have to do frequently with your remote control. E.g. if you want to watch a DVD, you have to turn on the DVD, turn on the TV, turn on the receiver/amplifier, select the DVD input channel on your amplifier and start playing the DVD.The different keys you have to press to do this, can be stored under one single key. So you only have to press one button to start up your system for watching a DVD.

Example ‘Watching DVD’ macro:

1 Select the required mode with the

SELECT key, e.g. DVD mode.

2 Press keys 1 and 6 of the SRU 7060

simultaneously for 5 seconds until the DVD label blinks twice and then remains lit.

3 Press keys 9, 9 and 1, in that order.

4 Press the key under which you want to

store the macro, e.g. the P(P key.

Notes:

– Once a macro is stored under a key, the original

function of the key can not be used anymore.

– You can also store the macro by pressing Shift in

combination with a target key (the target key keeps its original function).

– You cannot store a macro under the SELECT, LEARN or SHIFT key.

5 Enter the sequence of keys to be stored, e.g.:

• Select DVD mode with SELECT key and press the Standby key.

• Select TV mode with SELECT key and press 1.

• Select AMP mode with SELECT key and press the Standby key.

• Select DVD mode with SELECT key and press 2.

6 To close the macro press the LEARN key.

– The DVD label blinks twice to confirm.

• If you now select DVD mode and press the P(P key, the remote will switch on the DVD, the TV and the AMP and starts playing the disc.

Learn a key

If you miss certain functions from your original remote control of the SRU 7060, the SRU 7060 can learn these functions from the original remote. You can store a fuction under any of the available keys of the SRU 7060, except LEARN, SELECT and SHIFT. Please, note that any function already stored under a key will be deleted.

Example for VCR:

Make sure you have the original VCR remote control at hand.

1 Select the device mode VCR, with the

SELECT key.

2 Press the LEARN key and the target key on

the SRU 7060 simultaneously for 5 seconds, until the VCR label blinks twice and remains lit.

3 Place both remote controls on a flat surface

(like a coffee table) and aim them head-tohead with about 10cm in between.

4 Press the button you want to copy on the original remote control.

– If the SRU 7060 has learned the code, the VCR label will blink twice to

confirm the signal is stored.

– If the VCR light blinks once for a longer period, the IR signal is not

learned by the SRU 7060. Please, tr y a few times and make sure the remotes are aligned as described in step 3.

If the SRU 7060 cannot learn the code after several times trying, it is possible that: – The IR signal of your original device is out of range (the SRU 7060 can

only learn IR signals with a carrier signal of 30-60kHz. – The memory of the SRU 7060 is full. – The SRU 7060 stopped the learning process after 20 seconds if no

IR signals are found. Check if your original remote control is working

correctly.

Switch backlighting on or off

With the backlighting of the SRU 7060 you can find the right key on your remote, even in a dimly lit room.As the backlighting consumes additional power, the battery lifetime will reduce when the backlighting is used frequently.Therefore it is possible to switch this function off.

Turn on the backlighting:

• Press keys 7 and 9 simultaneously for

5 seconds.

– The Standby light will blink twice to confirm

the backlighting is enabled.

• Everytime you press a key on the remote the

backlighting will switch on. After 5 seconds it

will switch off automatically

Turn off the backlighting:

• Press keys 1 and 9 simultaneously for

5 seconds.

– The Standby light will blink twice to confirm

the backlighting is disabled.

• The backlighting will not switch on anymore

when you press a key.

Reset a key

To delete a learned function or a macro from a key and restore the original function, do the following:

1 Select the correct device mode in which you want to restore a key.

2 Press the keys 1 and 6 simultaneously for

5 seconds until the label of the selected mode

blinks twice and remains lit.

3 Press keys 9, 9 and 6, in that order.

4 Press the key you want to reset twice.

– The label of the selected mode blinks twice to confirm that the learned

code or macro is deleted and the original function is restored.

Copy a device mode

In case you have two TV’s, you can change any of the other device modes of the SRU 7060 into a second TV mode for controlling that second TV.

Example:You have two TVs, but no satellite or cable box.

1 Select the target mode STB with

the SELECT key.

2 Press keys 1 and 6 simultaneously for

5 seconds until the label of the selected mode

blinks twice and remains lit.

3 Press keys 9, 9 and 2, in that order.

4 Select the source mode (TV) you want to

copy.

5 Press key 1.

– The STB mode label will blink twice to

confirm.You can now program the STB mode for operating a second TV. Please read chapter 2 ‘Installing the remote’ how to do this.

– Any satellite device, learned keys or macros

stored in the STB mode will be deleted.

• If the mode light blinks once for a longer time, the copying failed. Try again from step 1.

Reset all functions in a device mode

To reset a copied device mode to the original mode or to delete all learned keys or macros stored in a mode, you can reset this mode to the default factory settings.

1 Select the mode to be reset with the SELECT key. 2 Press keys 1 and 6 simultaneously for

5 seconds until the label of the selected mode blinks twice and remains lit.

3 Press keys 9, 9 and 6, in that order.

4 Press the SELECT key twice to confirm

– The mode light will blink twice to confirm the

selected mode is reset to default settings.

• If the mode light blinks once for a longer time, the reset failed.Try again from step 1.

Assign Volume control to another mode

The volume controls (Volume up,Volume down and Mute) on the SRU 7060 are assigned to either your TV or your amplifier/receiver, depending on the device you have selected;

If you want a different setup, the volume control assignment can be changed.

Example: In VCR mode you want to operate the TV volume control

1 Select the VCR mode with the SELECT key.

2 Press keys 1 and 6 simultaneously for

5 seconds until the label of the selected mode blinks twice and remains lit.

3 Press keys 9, 9 and 3, in that order.

4 Select the TV mode with the SELECT key.

5 Press key 1.

– The mode light will blink twice to confirm that

the VCR volume controls are assigned to TV.

• If the mode light blinks once for a longer time, the volume assignment failed.Try again from step 1.

Restoring all original functions

To revert the SRU 7060 back to the factory default settings, do the following:

1 Press keys 1 and 6 simultaneously for

5 seconds until the label of the selected mode

blinks twice and remains lit.

2 Press keys 9, 8 and 1, in that order.

• The mode light will blink twice to confirm a succesfull reset.Your remote is now reverted to the state it was when you first took it out of the packaging.

5. Troubleshooting

• Problem

– Solution

• The device you want to operate does not respond and the device label

does not blink when you press a key.

– Replace the old batteries with two new 1.5 Volt, R03, UM4 or AA batteries.

• The device you want to operate does not respond but the device label

does blink when a key is pressed.

– Point the SRU 7060 at the device and make sure that there are no

obstructions between the SRU 7060 and the device.

• The SRU 7060 does not respond properly to commands.

– Maybe you are using the wrong code.Try programming the SRU 7060 again

using another code, which is mentioned under the brand of your device, or reset for automatic search to find the right code. If the device still does not respond, call our helpline, or for online setup go to: www.philips.com/urc.

• You have difficulties operating all of the functions on your device.

– Maybe the SRU 7060 has to be adapted to the model of the device.

• Your brand of device is not in the code list.

– Try to set the SRU 7060 automatically.

See ‘Automatically setting the remote control’.

• None of the codes works during manual setting of the remote control.

– If that is the case, follow the instructions under

1. Introduction

Félicitations pour votre achat de la télécommande universelle Philips SRU 7060. Une fois installée, cette télécommande vous permet de piloter jusqu’à 6 appareils différents: téléviseur, lecteur/enregistreur de DVD, STB (boîtier de raccordement, tuner satellite ou décodeur câble),AMP (amplificateur/récepteur), magnétoscope et lecteur/enregistreur de CD. Pour savoir comment configurer cette télécommande, reportez-vous au chapitre ‘Installation de la télécommande’.

2. Installation de la télécommande

Insertion des piles 1 Appuyez sur le couvercle et faites-le glisser

dans la direction de la flèche.

2 Insérez deux piles de type AA dans le

compartiment des piles, comme sur l’illustration.

3 Refermez le couvercle; un déclic doit indiquer qu’il est bien en place.

Test de la télécommande

La télécommande a été programmée pour la plupart des appareils Philips. Sachant que la SRU 7060 est compatible avec les signaux de chaque marque y compris les différents modèles d’une même marque, il est conseillé de vous assurer que votre appareil répond à la SRU 7060. L’exemple ci-dessous (téléviseur) montre comment procéder. Vous pouvez appliquer la même procédure aux autres appareils (lecteur de DVD, magnétoscope, etc.) que vous souhaitez piloter avec la SRU 7060.

Exemple - Téléviseur:

1 Allumez votre téléviseur manuellement ou avec la télécommande

d’origine. Sélectionnez le canal 1.

2 Choisissez TV sur le sélecteur de mode

de la SRU 7060. Appuyez sur la touche SELECT jusqu’à ce que le voyant entourant la touche de veille s’allume. Pour sélectionner les autres appareils, appuyez sur SELECT à plusieurs reprises jusqu’à ce que le mode correspondant s’allume. Si ni la touche de veille ni l’un des modes ne s’allume, vérifiez que les piles sont bien insérées (voir ‘Insertion des piles’).

3 Assurez-vous que toutes les touches

fonctionnent. Pour obtenir une vue d’ensemble des touches et de leur fonction, reportez-vous au chapitre 3,‘Touches et fonctions’.

– Si le téléviseur répond normalement à toutes

les touches, la SRU 7060 est prête à être utilisée.

• Si l’appareil ne répond pas du tout ou pas à toutes les touches, suivez les instructions de la section ‘Réglage de la télécommande’, ou effectuez une configuration en ligne sur: www.philips.com/urc.

Réglage de la télécommande

Cette opération n’est nécessaire que si votre appareil ne répond pas à la SRU 7060. Dans ce cas, la SRU 7060 ne reconnaît pas la marque ni/ou le modèle de votre appareil et vous devez la programmer. L’exemple ci-dessous (téléviseur) montre comment procéder.Vous pouvez appliquer la même procédure aux autres appareils (lecteur de DVD, magnétoscope, etc.) que vous souhaitez piloter avec la SRU 7060.

Réglage automatique de la télécommande

La télécommande va maintenant rechercher automatiquement le code de votre appareil.

Exemple - Téléviseur:

1 Assurez-vous que le téléviseur est allumé et sélectionnez un canal sur la

télécommande d’origine ou à l’aide des touches du téléviseur (par exemple, le canal 1).

• Si l’appareil est un lecteur/enregistreur de DVD ou un magnétoscope, insérez un DVD ou une cassette et lancez la lecture.

2 Sélectionnez le mode TV à l’aide de la

touche SELECT. Tenez la touche SELECT enfoncée jusqu’à ce que la touche de veille s’allume.

3 Ensuite, tenez les touches 1 et 3 enfoncées

simultanément pendant trois secondes,

jusqu’à ce que la lumière entourant la touche de veille clignote deux fois avant de rester allumée.

tous les signaux « mise hors tension du téléviseur », un par un. Chaque fois qu’un code est envoyé, la lumière entourant la touche de veille s’allume.

5 Quand votre téléviseur s’éteint (veille),

relâchez la touche de veille de la SRU 7060 immédiatement.

– La SRU 7060 vient de trouver un code

correspondant à votre téléviseur.

6 Vérifiez si vous pouvez utiliser toutes les fonctions de votre téléviseur

avec la SRU 7060.

• Dans la négative, vous pouvez relancer le réglage automatique. La SRU 7060 recherche alors un code susceptible de mieux fonctionner.

– Une fois que la SRU 7060 a parcouru tous les codes connus, la

recherche s’arrête automatiquement et le voyant cesse de clignoter.

– La programmation automatique d’un téléviseur prend au maximum

3 minutes. Pour les modes DVD, CD,VCR, AMP et STB, elle prend 2 minutes.

Réglage manuel de la télécommande

Exemple - Téléviseur:

1 Allumez le téléviseur manuellement ou avec la télécommande d’origine.

Sélectionnez le canal 1.

2 Recherchez la marque de votre téléviseur

dans la liste des codes au dos de ce manuel. Un code comportant un à quatre chiffres est indiqué pour chaque marque. Prenez note du premier.

Attention! Il y a des tableaux séparés pour les téléviseurs, les magnétoscopes, les lecteurs de DVD, etc.

Sur notre site Web www.philips.com/urc, vous pouvez directement sélectionner le numéro de type de votre appareil pour trouver le code correct.

Assurez-vous d’utiliser le code du tableau correspondant.

3 Tenez la touche SELECT enfoncée jusqu’à

ce que la lumière entourant la touche de veille s’allume.

4 Ensuite, tenez les touches 1 et 3 enfoncées

simultanément pendant trois secondes, jusqu’à ce que la lumière entourant la touche de veille clignote deux fois avant de rester allumée.

5 Saisissez le code noté à l’étape 2 à l’aide des touches numériques.

– Le voyant clignote alors deux fois. S’il n’émet qu’un clignotement long,

c’est que le code n’a pas été saisi correctement ou qu’il est incorrect. Recommencez à partir de l’étape 2.

6 Pointez la SRU 7060 vers le téléviseur et assurez-vous que celui-ci

répond correctement.

– Si le téléviseur répond à toutes les touches, la SRU 7060 est prête à

être utilisée. N’oubliez pas de noter le code.

• Si l’appareil ne répond pas du tout ou pas à toutes les touches, recommencez à partir de l’étape 2 et essayez le code suivant dans la liste.

Si l’appareil ne répond pas du tout ou pas à toutes les touches, suivez les instructions de la section ‘Réglage de la télécommande’. Peut-être devez-vous saisir un autre code pour cet appareil.

4. Autres possibilités

Programmation de macrocommandes

Une macrocommande vous permet d’automatiser les opérations que vous effectuez fréquemment sur votre télécommande. Par exemple, pour regarder un DVD, vous devez allumer le lecteur, le téléviseur et le récepteur/ amplificateur, puis sélectionner le canal DVD sur l’amplificateur pour lancer la lecture du DVD.Vous pouvez mémoriser la séquence requise pour la rappeler d’une simple pression sur une touche. Ainsi, il suffit d’appuyer sur un bouton pour allumer le système et regarder un DVD.

Exemple de macro ‘Regarder un DVD’:

1 Sélectionnez le mode voulu avec la

touche SELECT, par ex., le mode DVD.

2 Appuyez sur les touches 1 et 6 de la

SRU 7060 simultanément pendant 5 secondes jusqu’à ce que DVD clignote deux

fois et reste allumé.

touches 9, 9 et 1.

4 Appuyez sur la touche avec laquelle vous

souhaitez mémoriser la macro, par ex., la touche P(P.

Remarques:

– Lorsqu’une macro est mémorisée sur une touche,

la fonction originale de celle-ci n’est plus disponible.

– Vous pouvez aussi mémoriser la macro en appuyant simultanément sur la

touche Shift et la touche de votre choix (cette dernière conservant sa fonction d’origine).

– Il n’est pas possible d’utiliser les touches SELECT, LEARN ou SHIFT pour

mémoriser une macro.

5 Saisissez la séquence de touches à mémoriser, par ex.:

• Sélectionnez le mode DVD à l’aide de la touche SELECT puis appuyez sur la touche de veille.

• Sélectionnez le mode TV avec la touche SELECT puis appuyez sur 1.

• Sélectionnez le mode AMP à l’aide de la touche SELECT puis appuyez sur la touche de veille.

• Sélectionnez le mode DVD avec la touche SELECT puis appuyez sur 2.

6 Pour arrêter l’enregistrement de la macro, appuyez sur la touche LEARN.

– Le libellé DVD clignote deux fois pour confirmer votre choix.

• Si vous sélectionnez maintenant le mode DVD et appuyez sur la touche P(P, l a télécommande allume le lecteur de DVD, le téléviseur et l’amplificateur puis lance la lecture du disque.

Apprentissage d’une touche

Si certaines fonctions de votre télécommande d’origine sont absentes de la SRU 7060, celle-ci peut les ‘apprendre’ à partir de la télécommande d’origine. Vous pouvez mémoriser une fonction avec n’importe quelle touche de la SRU 7060, à l’exception des touches LEARN, SELECT et SHIFT. Notez que toute fonction déjà mémorisée avec cette touche est alors supprimée.

Exemple pour le magnétoscope:

Munissez-vous de la télécommande d’origine du magnétoscope.

1 Sélectionnez le mode magnétoscope (VCR)

avec la touche SELECT.

2 Appuyez sur la touche LEARN puis sur la

touche cible sur la SRU 7060 simultanément pendant 5 secondes, jusqu’à ce que le VCR

clignote deux fois et reste allumé.

3 Posez les deux télécommandes sur une

surface plane (par exemple, une table basse) et placez-les face à face à une distance d’approximativement 10 cm.

4 Sur la télécommande d’origine, appuyez sur le bouton à copier.

– Si la SRU 7060 a acquis le code, le VCR clignote deux fois pour

confirmer que le signal a été mémorisé.

– Si le VCR émet un seul clignotement long, le signal IR (infrarouge) n’est

pas capté par la SRU 7060. Réessayez plusieurs fois en vous assurant que les deux télécommandes sont bien face à face, conformément aux instructions de l’étape 3.

Si la SRU 7060 ne parvient pas à acquérir le code après plusieurs tentatives, il est possible que: – le signal IR de votre appareil d’origine soit hors de portée (la SRU 7060

ne peut acquérir que les signaux IR dans une plage de fréquences de 30

à 60 kHz); – la mémoire de la SRU 7060 soit saturée; – la SRU 7060 ait arrêté le processus d’apprentissage au bout de 20

seconde si aucun signal IR n’a été détecté.

Vérifiez que votre télécommande d’origine fonctionne correctement.

Allumage ou extinction du rétroéclairage

Le rétroéclairage de la SRU 7060 permet de repérer facilement les touches dans une pièce faiblement éclairée. Le rétroéclairage consomme davantage d’électricité, réduisant l’autonomie de la pile s’il est utilisé fréquemment. C’est pourquoi il est possible de désactiver cette fonction.

Allumez le rétroéclairage:

• Appuyez sur les touches 7 et 9

simultanément pendant 5 secondes. – Le voyant de veille clignote deux fois pour

confirmer l’activation du rétroéclairage.

• À chaque fois que vous appuyez sur une

touche, le rétroéclairage de la télécommande

s’allume. Il s’éteint automatiquement au bout de 5 secondes.

Éteignez le rétroéclairage:

• Appuyez sur les touches 1 et 9

simultanément pendant 5 secondes. – Le voyant de veille clignote deux fois pour

confirmer la désactivation du rétroéclairage.

• Le rétroéclairage n’est pas réactivé quand

vous appuyez sur une touche.

Réinitialisation d’une touche

Pour supprimer la fonction apprise ou la macro d’une touche et restaurer sa fonction d’origine, procédez comme suit:

1 Sélectionnez le mode dans lequel vous souhaitez restaurer la fonction

originale d’une touche.

Copie d’un mode de périphérique

Si vous avez deux téléviseurs, il vous est possible de remplacer l’un des autres modes de la SRU 7060 par un second mode téléviseur.

Exemple:Vous avez deux téléviseurs, mais pas de décodeur satellite ou câble.

1 Sélectionnez le mode STB avec la touche

SELECT.

2 Appuyez sur les touches 1 et 6

simultanément pendant 5 secondes jusqu’à ce que le mode sélectionné clignote deux fois avant de rester allumé.

3 Appuyez successivement sur les

touches 9, 9 et 2.

4 Sélectionnez le mode source (TV) à copier.

5 Appuyez sur la touche 1.

– Le mode STB clignote deux fois pour

confirmer votre choix.

Vous pouvez alors programmer le mode STB pour un second téléviseur. Pour savoir comment procéder, reportez-vous au chapitre 2,‘Installation de la télécommande’.

– Le décodeur satellite, les touches apprises ou les macro mémorisées

dans le mode STB sont alors supprimés.

• Si le voyant du mode émet un clignotement prolongé, la copie échoue. Réessayez à partir de l’étape 1.

Réinitialisation de toutes les fonctions d’un mode de périphérique

Pour réinitialiser le mode d’origine d’un mode copié ou pour supprimer toutes les touches apprises ou macros mémorisées dans un mode, vous pouvez restaurer les paramètres usine de celui-ci.

1 Sélectionnez le mode à réinitialiser avec la touche SELECT.

2 Appuyez sur les touches 1 et 6

simultanément pendant 5 secondes jusqu’à ce que le mode sélectionné clignote deux fois avant de rester allumé.

confirmer la restauration de la configuration par défaut du mode sélectionné.

• Si le voyant du mode émet un clignotement prolongé, la réinitialisation échoue. Réessayez à partir de l’étape 1.

Affectation du réglage de volume à un autre mode

Les réglages de volume (haut, bas et coupé) de la SRU 7060 sont affectés à votre téléviseur ou à votre amplificateur/récepteur, selon l’appareil sélectionné.

Pour restaurer la configuration usine de la SRU 7060, procédez comme suit:

simultanément pendant 5 secondes jusqu’à ce que le mode sélectionné clignote deux fois avant de rester allumé.

2 Appuyez successivement sur les

touches 9, 8 et 1.

• Le voyant du mode clignote deux fois pour confirmer que la réinitialisation a été effectuée. Votre télécommande reprend alors la configuration qu’elle avant lorsque vous l’avez sortie de l’emballage.

5. Dépannage

• Problème

– Solution

• L’appareil que vous souhaitez utiliser ne répond pas et le mode correspondant ne clignote pas lorsque vous appuyez sur une touche.

– Remplacez les piles par deux nouvelles piles de 1,5 volts, R03, UM4 ou AA.

• L’appareil que vous souhaitez utiliser ne répond pas bien que mode clignote quand vous appuyez sur une touche.

– Pointez la SRU 7060 vers l’appareil en vous assurant qu’aucun obstacle ne

les sépare.

• La SRU 7060 ne répond pas correctement aux commandes.

– Le code que vous utilisez est peut-être incorrect. Essayez de reprogrammer la

1. Einleitung

Herzlichen Glückwunsch zu Ihrer Entscheidung für die universelle Fernbedienung SRU 7060 von Philips. Nach der Inbetriebnahme der Fernbedienung können Sie maximal 6 verschiedene Geräte hiermit bedienen: ein Fernsehgerät, einen DVD-Spieler/Recorder, STB (Set-Top-Box, SatellitenTuner oder Kabeldecoder), AMP (Verstärker/Empfänger),VCR (Videorecorder) und einen CD-Spieler/Recorder. . Nähere Informationen zur Inbetriebnahme dieser Fernbedienung finden Sie in dem Kapitel ‘Inbetriebnahme der Fernbedienung’.

2. Inbetriebnahme der Fernbedienung

Einsetzen der Batterien 1 Drücken Sie die kleine Klappe nach innen und

schieben Sie sie in Pfeilrichtung.

2 Setzen Sie zwei Batterien vom Typ AA wie

abgebildet in das Batteriefach ein.

3 Schieben Sie die Klappe wieder zurück und

lassen Sie sie einrasten.

Prüfen der Fernbedienung

Die Fernbedienung ist für die Steuerung der meisten Geräte von Philips vorbereitet. Da die Signale der SRU 7060 bei jeder Marke und sogar bei den einzelnen Modellen der gleichen Marke unterschiedlich sein können, sollten Sie prüfen, ob Ihr Gerät auf die SRU 7060 reagiert. In dem nachstehenden Beispiel (Fernsehgerät) wird beschrieben, wie Sie hierfür am besten vorgehen. Sie können die gleichen Schritte für andere Geräte (DVD,VCR, usw.), die Sie mit der SRU 7060 bedienen möchten, wiederholen.

Beispiel Fernsehgerät:

1 Schalten Sie das Fernsehgerät von Hand ein oder benutzen Sie hierfür

die Original-Fernbedienung. Stimmen Sie das Gerät auf Kanal 1 ab.

2 Benutzen Sie den Modus-Wahlschalter der

SRU 7060, um TV zu wählen. Halten Sie die Taste SELECT gedrückt, bis die Lampe der Bereitschaftstaste leuchtet. Zum Wählen anderer Geräte drücken Sie die SELECT-Taste so oft, bis die Bezeichnung des gewünschten Geräts aufleuchtet. Wenn weder die Lampe der Bereitschaftstaste noch eine der Bezeichnungen aufleuchtet, kontrollieren Sie, ob die Batterien korrekt eingesetzt sind (siehe bei ‘Einsetzen der Batterien’).

3 Kontrollieren Sie die Funktion der einzelnen

Tasten. Eine Übersicht über die Tasten und ihre Funktionen finden Sie in Kapitel ‘3.Tasten und Funktionen’.

– Reagiert das Fernsehgerät ordnungsgemäß auf

alle Tastenbefehle, so ist die Fernbedienung SRU 7060 einsatzbereit.

• Reagiert das Gerät überhaupt nicht oder nicht auf alle

Einstellen der Fernbedienung

Dies ist nur erforderlich, wenn Ihr Gerät nicht auf die Fernbedienung SRU 7060 reagiert. In diesem Fall kennt die Fernbedienung die Marke und/oder das Modell Ihres Gerätes nicht und müssen Sie diese der Fernbedienung bekannt geben. In dem nachstehenden Beispiel (Fernsehgerät) wird beschrieben, wie Sie hierfür am besten vorgehen. Sie können die gleichen Schritte für andere Geräte (DVD,VCR, usw.), die Sie mit der SRU 7060 bedienen möchten, wiederholen.

Automatisches Einstellen der Fernbedienung

Die Fernbedienung sucht jetzt automatisch nach dem richtigen Code für Ihr Gerät.

Beispiel Fernsehgerät:

1 Sorgen Sie dafür, dass das Fernsehgerät eingeschaltet ist, und wählen Sie

mit Hilfe der Original-Fernbedienung oder mit den Tasten am Gerät einen Kanal (zum Beispiel Kanal 1).

• Wenn es sich bei dem Gerät um einen DVD-Spieler/Recorder oder

Videorecorder handelt, legen Sie eine Disc oder eine Kassette ein und beginnen Sie mit der Wiedergabe.

2 Wählen Sie den Geräte-Modus TV mit der

Taste SELECT. Drücken Sie die Taste SELECT, bis die die Standby-Taste umgebende Lampe aufleuchtet.

3 Dann halten Sie die Tasten 1 und 3

gleichzeitig drei Sekunden lang gedrückt, bis die die Standby-Taste umgebende Lampe zweimal blinkt und dann ununterbrochen leuchtet.

4 Halten Sie die Bereitschaftstaste der

Fernbedienung SRU 7060 gedrückt

– Die SRU 7060 beginnt jetzt, alle bekannten‚

TV aus’-Signale nacheinander zu übertragen. Jedes Mal, wenn ein Code geschickt wird, leuchtet die die Standby-Taste umgebende Lampe auf.

5 Beim Abschalten des Fernsehgeräts

(Bereitschaft) lassen Sie die Bereitschaftstaste der SRU 7060 sofort los.

– Die Fernbedienung SRU 7060 hat jetzt einen

Code gefunden, der für Ihr Fernsehgerät funktioniert.

6 Kontrollieren Sie, ob Sie alle Funktionen Ihres Fernsehgeräts mit der

SRU 7060 steuern können.

• Ist dies nicht der Fall, können Sie die automatische Einstellung erneut durchführen. Die SRU 7060 wird dann weiter nach einem Code suchen, der vielleicht besser funktioniert.

– Wenn die SRU 7060 alle bekannten Codes durchlaufen hat, stoppt der

Suchvorgang automatisch und die Lampe blinkt nicht mehr.

– Die automatische Programmierung eines Fernsehgeräts dauert maximal

3 Minuten. Für DVD, CD, VCR, AMP und STB werden 2 Minuten benötigt.

Manuelles Einstellen der Fernbedienung

Beispiel Fernsehgerät:

1 Schalten Sie das Fernsehgerät von Hand ein oder benutzen Sie hierfür

die Original-Fernbedienung. Stimmen Sie das Gerät auf Kanal 1 ab.

2 Suchen Sie die Marke Ihres Fernsehgeräts in

der Codeliste hinten in dieser Bedienungsanleitung heraus. Für jede Marke sind ein oder mehrere vierstellige Codes angegeben. Notieren Sie sich den ersten Code.

Achtung! Es gibt gesonderte Tabellen für TV,VCR, DVD, usw.

Auf unserer Website www.philips.com/urc können Sie Ihre GeräteTypnummer direkt wählen, um den richtigen Code zu finden.

Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie die Codes aus der richtigen Tabelle übernehmen.

3 Drücken Sie die Taste SELECT, bis die

die die Standby-Taste umgebende Lampe aufleuchtet.

4 Dann halten Sie die Tasten 1 und 3

gleichzeitig drei Sekunden lang gedrückt, bis die die Standby-Taste umgebende Lampe zweimal blinkt und dann ununterbrochen leuchtet.

5 Geben Sie jetzt mit den Zifferntasten den bei Schritt 2 notierten Code

ein.

– Die Lampe blinkt jetzt zwei Mal. Blinkt die Lampe ein Mal lang, wurde

der Code nicht korrekt eingegeben oder es wurde ein verkehrter Code eingegeben. Beginnen Sie noch einmal ab Schritt 2.

6 Richten Sie die Fernbedienung SRU 7060 auf das Fernsehgerät und

kontrollieren Sie, ob das Fernsehgerät ordnungsgemäß reagiert.

– Reagiert das Fernsehgerät ordnungsgemäß auf alle Tastenbefehle, so ist

die Fernbedienung SRU 7060 einsatzbereit.Vergessen Sie nicht, Ihren Code zu notieren.

• Reagiert das Gerät überhaupt nicht oder nicht auf alle Tastenbefehle, beginnen Sie erneut ab Schritt 2 und versuchen Sie es mit dem nächsten Code in der Liste.

Die Abbildung auf Seite 3 zeigt eine Übersicht über alle Tasten und ihre Funktionen.

4. Zusätzliche Möglichkeiten

Programmieren von Makros

Mit einem Makro können Sie Aktionen automatisieren, die Sie häufig mit Ihrer Fernbedienung durchführen.Wenn Sie sich z.B. eine DVD ansehen möchten, müssen Sie den DVD-Spieler einschalten, das Fernsehgerät einschalten, den Receiver/Verstärker einschalten, den DVD-Eingangskanal am Verstärker wählen und die Wiedergabe der DVD starten. Die verschiedenen Tasten, die Sie hierfür drücken müssen, können unter einer einzigen Taste gespeichert werden. Auf diese Weise brauchen Sie nur eine einzige Taste zu drücken, wenn Sie sich DVD anschauen möchten.

Beispiel-Makro ‘Anschauen einer DVD’:

1 Wählen Sie den erforderlichen Modus mit

der SELECT-Taste, z.B. den DVD-Modus.

2 Drücken Sie die Tasten 1 und 6 auf der

SRU 7060 gleichzeitig 5 Sekunden lang, bis die DVD-Bezeichnung zwei Mal blinkt und anschließend weiterhin leuchtet.

3 Drücken Sie die Tasten 9, 9 und 1 in dieser

Reihenfolge.

4 Drücken Sie die Taste, unter der Sie das

Makro speichern möchten, z.B. die Taste P(P.

Hinweise:

– Wenn ein Makro einmal unter einer Taste

gespeichert ist, steht die Originalfunktion der Taste nicht mehr zur Verfügung.

– Sie können auch das Makro speichern, indem Sie die SHIFT-Taste in

Kombination mit einer Zieltaste drücken (die Zieltaste selbst behält dann ihre Originalfunktion).

– Unter den Tasten SELECT, LEARN und SHIFT kann kein Makro gespeichert

werden.

5 Geben Sie die zu speichernde Tastenfolge ein, z.B.:

• Wählen Sie mit der SELECT-Taste den DVD-Modus und drücken Sie die Bereitschaftstaste.

• Wählen Sie mit der SELECT-Taste den TV-Modus und drücken Sie 1.

• Wählen Sie mit der SELECT-Taste den AMP-Modus und drücken Sie die Bereitschaftstaste.

• Wählen Sie mit der SELECT-Taste den DVD-Modus und drücken Sie 2.

6 Zum Abschließen des Makros drücken Sie die LEARN-Taste.

– Die DVD-Bezeichnung blinkt zwei Mal, um die Eingabe zu bestätigen.

• Wenn Sie jetzt den DVD-Modus wählen und die Taste P(P drücken, wird die Fernbedienung den DVD-Spieler, das Fernsehgerät und den Verstärker einschalten und die Wiedergabe der Disk starten.

Lernen einer Tastenfunktion

Wenn Sie bestimmte Funktionen Ihrer Original-Fernbedienung bei der SRU 7060 vermissen, kann die SRU 7060 diese Funktionen von der OriginalFernbedienung lernen. Sie können eine Funktion unter jeder der verfügbaren Tasten der SRU 7060 mit Ausnahme der Tasten LEARN, SELECT und SHIFT speichern. Bitte beachten Sie, dass eine bereits unter der betreffenden Taste gespeicherte Funktion dadurch gelöscht wird.

Beispiel für VCR:

Sorgen Sie dafür, dass Sie die Original-Fernbedienung des Videorecorders zur Hand haben.

1 Wählen Sie den Gerätemodus VCR mit der

SELECT-Taste.

2 Drücken Sie die LEARN-Taste und die Ziel-

taste auf der SRU 7060 gleichzeitig 5 Sekunden lang, bis die VCR-Bezeichnung 2 Mal

blinkt und anschließend weiterhin leuchtet.
