Read this user manual carefully before you use the epilator, the precision epilator and the Smart Tweezers and save it for future reference.
Danger
-- Keep the adapter dry.
-- If you charge the epilator in the bathroom, do not use an extension cord (Fig. 2).
Warning
-- Do not use an appliance, an attachment or the adapter if it is damaged. Do not use the Smart Tweezers if they are damaged.
-- If the adapter is damaged, always have it replaced with one of the original type in order to avoid a hazard.
-- The adapter contains a transformer. Do not cut off the adapter to replace it with another plug, as this causes a hazardous situation.
-- The epilator, precision epilator and SmartTweezers are not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
-- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the epilator, precision epilator and SmartTweezers.
-- Keep the button batteries of the Smart Tweezers out of the reach of children and pets. Button batteries are a potential choking hazard.
-- Do not insert metal-containing material into the socket on the epilator to avoid short circuiting.
Caution
-- The epilator is only intended for removing women’s body hair on areas below the neck: underarms, bikini line and legs. Do not use it for any other purpose.
-- The precision epilator can additionally be used on hard-to-reach areas such as knee and ankle.
-- For hygienic reasons, the epilator, precision epilator and Smart
Tweezers should only be used by one person.

-- To prevent damage and injuries, keep operating appliances (with or without attachment) away from scalp hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, clothes, threads, cords, brushes etc.
-- Do not use the epilator, precision epilator and SmartTweezers on irritated skin or skin with varicose veins, rashes, spots, moles (with hairs) or wounds without consulting your doctor first. People with a reduced immune response or people who suffer from diabetes mellitus, haemophilia or immunodeficiency should also consult their doctor first.
-- Your skin may become a little red and irritated the first few times you use the epilator or precision epilator.This phenomenon is absolutely normal and quickly disappears.As you epilate more often, your skin gets used to epilation, skin irritation decreases and regrowth becomes thinner and softer. If the irritation has not disappeared within three days, we advise you to consult a doctor.
-- Do not use bath or shower oils when you epilate under wet conditions, as this may cause serious skin irritation.
-- Do not clean the epilator, precision epilator and SmartTweezers with water that is hotter than shower temperature (max. 40°C).
-- Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids such as petrol or acetone for cleaning purposes.
-- Charge, use and store the epilator at a temperature between 10°C and 30°C.
-- Do not look directly into the Opti-light of the epilator to avoid being dazzled by the light.
-- Do not use the epilating head of the epilator without one of the epilation caps.
-- Fully charge the epilator every 3 to 4 months, even if you do not use the epilator for a longer time.
-- Only use the SmartTweezers on alkaline button batteries type L736H or AG3 (dia. 7.8 x 3.4mm).
-- Only use disposable non-rechargeable AA 1.5V alkaline batteries in the precision epilator.
-- Do not let metal objects come into contact with the battery terminals of the precision epilator and do not short-circuit the disposable batteries.

Electromagnetic fields (EMF)
This Philips epilator and precision epilator comply with all applicable standards and regulations regarding exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMF).
General
-- This symbol means that the epilator and precision epilator are suitable for use in a bath or shower and for cleaning under a running tap. (Fig. 3)
-- The epilator and precision epilator are waterproof and can be used in the bath or shower. For safety reasons, the epilator can only be used cordlessly.The epilator does not work when it is connected to the mains.
-- The adapter is equipped with an automatic voltage selector and is suitable for mains voltages ranging from 100 to 240 volts (50 -60 Hz).
-- Maximum noise level epilator: Lc = 76dB(A)
-- Maximum noise level precision epilator: Lc = 77dB(A)

Shaving head
If you use the shaving head two or more times a week, we advise you to replace the shaving unit after one or two years or when it is damaged.
Environment
-- Do not throw away the epilator and precision epilator with the normal household waste at the end of their life, but hand them in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the environment (Fig. 4).

Epilator
-- The built-in rechargeable batteries of the epilator contain substances that may pollute the environment. Always remove the batteries before you discard and hand in the epilator at an official collection point. Dispose of the batteries at an official collection point for batteries. If you have trouble removing the batteries, you can also take the appliance to a Philips service centre (Fig. 5).
Removing the rechargeable batteries
1Disconnect the epilator from the adapter. Let the epilator operate until the batteries are completely empty and you can no longer switch on the epilator.
2Remove the epilating head and open the appliance with a screwdriver (Fig. 6).
3Use a screwdriver to disconnect the battery holder (1) and the batteries (2) (Fig. 7).
Do not try to reassemble the appliance in order to connect it to the mains.This is dangerous.
Precision epilator and SmartTweezers
-- Non-rechargeable batteries contain substances that may pollute the environment. Do not throw away non-rechargeable batteries with the normal household waste, but dispose of them at an official collection point for batteries. Always remove the non-rechargeable batteries before you discard and hand in the appliance at an official collection point (precision epilator) or dispose of it with the normal household waste (Smart Tweezers) (Fig. 5).

Important

Avertissement
-- N’utilisez pas un appareil, un accessoire ou l’adaptateur s’ils sont endommagés. N’utilisez pas la pince à épiler lumineuse si elle est endommagée.
-- Si l’adaptateur secteur est endommagé, il doit toujours être remplacé par un adaptateur secteur de même type pour éviter tout accident.
-- L’adaptateur contient un transformateur. N’essayez pas de remplacer la fiche de l’adaptateur pour éviter tout accident.

-- Gardez les piles bouton de la pince à épiler lumineuse hors de portée des enfants et des animaux car elles pourraient les étouffer.
-- N’insérez pas d’éléments en métal dans la prise de l’épilateur pour éviter tout court-circuit.
Attention
-- Cet épilateur est uniquement conçu pour l’épilation des poils féminins sur les régions situées en dessous du cou : aisselles, maillot et jambes. Ne l’utilisez pas à d’autres fins.
-- Le mini-épilateur de précision peut aussi être utilisé sur les zones difficiles à atteindre comme le genou et la cheville.

-- Pour des raisons d’hygiène, l’épilateur, le mini-épilateur de précision et la pince à épiler lumineuse doivent être utilisés par une seule et unique personne.
-- Pour prévenir tout dommage ou blessure, évitez de faire fonctionner les appareils (avec ou sans accessoire) près de vos cheveux, de vos sourcils et cils, ainsi qu’à proximité de vêtements, fils, câbles, brosses, etc.
-- N’utilisez pas l’épilateur, le mini-épilateur de précision et la pince à
épiler lumineuse sans avoir consulté votre médecin si votre peau est irritée ou sur une peau présentant des varices, rougeurs, boutons, grains de beauté (avec pilosité) ou des blessures. Les mêmes recommandations s’appliquent aux personnes ayant une immunité réduite ou souffrant de diabète, d’hémophilie ou d’immunodéficience.
-- Lors des premières utilisations, il est possible que la peau rougisse ou s’irrite légèrement. Il s’agit d’une réaction normale qui disparaîtra rapidement. La gêne ressentie au début diminuera progressivement
à chaque utilisation.Au fur et à mesure, votre peau s’habituera et la repousse sera plus fine. Cependant, si l’irritation persiste au-delà de trois jours, consultez votre médecin.
-- N’utilisez pas d’huiles de bain ou de douche en cas d’épilation sur peau humide, car cela pourrait entraîner une irritation de la peau.
-- Ne nettoyez pas l’épilateur, le mini-épilateur de précision et la pince

Retrait des batteries rechargeables
1Débranchez l’épilateur de l’adaptateur. Laissez l’épilateur fonctionner jusqu’à ce que les batteries soient complètement vides et que vous ne puissiez plus allumer l’épilateur.
2Retirez la tête d’épilation et ouvrez l’appareil avec un tournevis (fig. 6).
3Utilisez un tournevis pour ouvrir le compartiment à piles (1) et retirer les piles (2) (fig. 7).
N’essayez pas de réassembler l’appareil pour le brancher sur le secteur car cela est dangereux.
Mini-épilateur de précision et pince à épiler lumineuse
-- Les piles non rechargeables contiennent des substances qui peuvent nuire à l’environnement. Ne jetez pas les piles non rechargeables avec les ordures ménagères, mais déposez-les à un endroit prévu à cet effet. Retirez toujours les piles non rechargeables avant de mettre l’appareil au rebut et de le déposer à un endroit prévu à cet effet (mini-épilateur de précision) ou jetez-les avec les ordures ménagères
(pince à épiler lumineuse) (fig. 5).

-- Kulit dapat sedikit memerah dan mengalami iritasi ketika Anda menggunakan epilator atau epilator presisi untuk pertama kali. Gejala ini sepenuhnya normal dan akan hilang dengan cepat. Epilator

Melepas baterai isi-ulang
1Lepaskan epilator dari adaptor. Biarkan epilator beroperasi hingga baterainya benar-benar habis dan Anda tidak dapat lagi menyalakan epilator.
2Lepaskan kepala epilator dan buka alat dengan obeng (Gbr. 6).

Epilator presisi dan Pinset Cerdas
