Introduction
Philips Beauty has invented a new way of
colouring your hair at home. It is convenient, fast
and clean.With the Color Precise, the colorant is
evenly and safely distributed through the hair to
obtain beautiful results.

Important
◗ Read these instructions for use carefully and
look at the illustrations before you start using
the appliance.
◗ Always read the instructions that come with
your colorant before you start colouring your
hair.
◗ Do not clean the Color Precise under the tap.
◗ Keep the Color Precise at a temperature
between 5cC and 35cC.
◗ Do not use a Color Diffuser more than once.
◗ Always make sure you have an extra set of
batteries at hand in case the batteries of the
Color Precise run out while you are colouring
your hair.
◗ Remove the batteries if you are not going to
use the appliance for quite some time.
Before first use

1 Open the cover of the battery
compartment.
2 Put the batteries in the appliance.
Use 1.5 volt AA Philips Alkaline batteries.
Make sure the + and - indications of the batteries
match the indications in the battery
compartment.
3 Close the cover of the battery
compartment.
A new set of batteries allows you to use the
appliance for more than 40 colouring sessions.

Preparing for colouring
1 Brush or comb your hair with an ordinary
brush or comb to be able to move the
Color Precise through your hair more
easily.
2 Wrap a towel round your neck and
shoulders to protect your clothes.

3 Take the Color Precise in your hand and
open the diffuser holder by pressing the
two release buttons simultaneously and
pulling the diffuser holder towards you.

4 Press the reset button to make sure the
disc returns to bottom position in the
housing, otherwise the disposable Color
Diffuser will not fit properly.

5 Place the disposable Color Diffuser in the
diffuser holder.
Make sure the projections on the disposable
Color Diffuser fit exactly into the grooves of the
diffuser holder.

6 Snap the diffuser holder with the Color
Diffuser back onto the Color Precise.
You will hear a click when the diffuser holder
snaps into position properly.

7 To open the disposable Color Diffuser,
turn the lid in the centre of the Color
Diffuser anticlockwise.

Preparing the colorant
8 Put on the plastic gloves supplied with the
colorant.
You can use the Color Precise with any
permanent hair colorant on the market. Follow
the mixing instructions and all the other
instructions supplied with the colorant.

9 Start mixing the two components of the
colorant.
Mix the 2 components to a smooth and uniform
mixture without lumps.

10 Fill the disposable Color Diffuser with the
colorant.
C
11 Screw the lid back onto the disposable
Color Diffuser again. Make sure it is closed
properly.

12 Pick up the Color Precise and hold it
horizontally by its handle.The pins of the
Color Diffuser have to point upwards.
Switch the appliance on.

13 Switch the appliance off as soon as
colorant becomes visible in the holes in
the pins of the Color Diffuser.This can
take 10 - 30 seconds, depending on the
colorant you are using.

The Color Precise is now ready for colouring.
Colouring hair
C
1 Place the pins of the Color Diffuser in
your hair on top of your head and switch
the Color Precise on. Make slow combing
movements through the hair from the top
of the head downwards.

2 Make sure all the pins of the Color
Diffuser come into contact with the scalp.
3 Stop the Color Precise every now and
then by taking your finger off the on/off
button and make circular massaging
movements to distribute the colorant
through your hair evenly and precisely.

◗ The indication marks on the Color Diffuser
tell you how much colorant is left in the
diffuser.
When the colorant has been used up, you will
hear a click when the disc returns to its bottom
position.
4 Switch the Color Precise off.
◗ Open the diffuser holder by pressing the two
release buttons simultaneously.The Color
Diffuser can now be removed and disposed
of.

Do not use the Color Diffuser a second time.
Residues of colorant used during the previous
colouring session can cause lumps and may
hamper the even distribution of the colorant.
Tips
◗ If 100 ml (3.52 fl oz) is not enough to colour
your hair (e.g. because you have long hair), fill
a second, new Color Diffuser with colorant.

◗ There are various methods for colouring hair
that is longer than shoulder length.We advise
you to gather the hair and put it over one
shoulder. Hold the hair with one hand and the
appliance in the other hand to colour the hair
ends.
◗ Do not remove the Color Diffuser before you
have coloured your hair completely.
◗ When you have used two-thirds of the
colorant, you can use the remaining one-third
to colour any bits you may have missed.
Cleaning
Regular cleaning of the Color Precise guarantees
a better colouring performance.
◗ Clean the Color Precise with a dry cloth. If
necessary,you can use a moist cloth.
Do not use abrasives, scourers or liquids such as
alcohol, petrol or acetone to clean the appliance.
Do not rinse the appliance under the tap.

100% recyclable plastic.You can simply throw
the Color Diffuser away with the normal
household waste after use.
Batteries
Only dispose of the batteries when they are
completely empty.
Remove the batteries when you discard the
appliance. Do not throw the batteries away with
the normal household waste, but hand them in at
an official collection point.You can also take the
batteries to a Philips Service Centre, which will
dispose of them in an environmentally safe way.

откройте держатель диффузора, нажав
одновременно обе кнопки-защелки и
потянув держатель на себя.

4 Нажмите кнопку Reset,чтобы сместить
диск в нижнюю часть,иначе Вы не
сможете установить одноразовый
диффузор для нанесения краски
надлежащим образом.
