Replacing battery
When the symbol shown in fig. 3 appears on the display, the battery (type LR41) must be replaced (see fig. 4). Hand in the empty battery at a chemical waste collection point.

Cleaning
Clean the thermometer with water that is not hotter than 60 ºC or with medicinal alcohol. For hospitals : Immerse in water containing the prescribed disinfectant (fig. 5) for 1 hour at the most.
