Insert Data Card (optional). Turn Energy Select knob to .
Using Paddles
Apply conductive matter. Apply paddles to patient's chest, using the anterior-apex placement.
Using Pads
Apply pads as directed by packaging instructions. Connect the pads to the pads patient cable.

Defibrillation
Select Energy.

Move the Energy Select knob to
the desired energy level.
Charge.
Press or yellow charge
button on apex paddle.
CHARGE
Shock.
Press . If using external
paddles or switched internal paddles, simultaneously press shock buttons on paddles.
To disarm, press .

Pacing
Select . Apply electrodes and pads.
Press .
- adjust Rate.
- press Start.

WARNING
Electric shock hazards exist internally. Do not remove assembly screws. Refer servicing to qualified personnel. Charge batteries between use or if the message LOW BATTERY is displayed. Perform a Battery Capacity Test every 3 months. The defibrillator will take longer to charge when used with only AC power or a depleted battery. Use only with the M3516A Battery Pack.
