Insert the carafe inclined towards the front. The carafe base should be positioned on the hole (E) located on the drip tray. Insert the carafe by turning it towards the base through a round movement (as shown in the  gure), until it is hooked to the hole (E) located in the drip tray. The carafe will be naturally back in place.

Placer la carafe inclinée frontalement. La base de la carafe doit être appuyée à l’insert (E) situé sur le bac d’égouttement. Introduire la carafe par une rotation vers le bas (comme le montre la  gure), jusqu’à l’accrochage de l’insert (E) se trouvant dans le bac d’égouttement. La carafe se retrouve

naturellement dans son logement.

Remove the covers. Fill the hopper with co ee beans, then close the covers.

Lever la trappe et ôter le couvercle. Remplir avec du café en grains uniquement. Refermer ensuite (ne pas oublier le couvercle).

Insert the plug into the socket located on the back of the machine and insert the other end into a power outlet with suitable current.

Brancher le câble d’alimentation sur la machine et sur une prise de courant appropriée (voir informations sur la plaque signalétique à l’intérieur de la porte).

Adjust the dispensing spout and place a cup beneath it.

Régler la hauteur du distributeur et placer une tasse.

Set the power button to the “I” position. Press the stand-by button to start the machine.

Appuyer sur l’interrupteur général et le mettre sur la position « I ». Appuyer sur la touche en façade pour mettre en marche la machine.

(Only for beverages with milk) Rotate the handle clockwise and press on the disengage buttons to allow the lid removal.

(Seulement pour boissons à base de lait) Tourner la buse de distribution lait dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre et soulever le couvercle en pressant les touches latérales.

Fill the carafe with cold milk. Fill milk to above the “min” line, but do not exceed the “max” level indicated on the carafe. Replace the lid.

Remplir de lait frais depuis le niveau MIN mais ne pas dépasser le niveau MAX. Fermer le réservoir avec le couvercle.

STARTING THE MACHINE  DÉMARRAGE DE LA MACHINE

Before turning on the machine, make sure that the power button is set to “0”.

Avant de mettre en marche la machine, s’assurer que l’interrupteur général de mise sous tension est sur la position « 0 ».

Remove the covers. Remove the water tank.

Lever la trappe et ôter le couvercle. Attraper la poignée puis retirer le réservoir à eau.

Fill the tank with fresh drinking water. Do not exceed the “max” level indicated on the water tank. Place the water tank back into the machine.

Remplir avec de l’eau fraîche potable (ne pas dépasser le niveau MAX). Remettre le réservoir et son couvercle puis refermer la trappe.

Mettre le réservoir à lait au réfrigérateur

après chaque utilisation.

When the carafe with milk is not going to

be used, or after using it, store it in the

refrigerator.

Press the espresso or long espresso button. Press once for 1 cup and twice for 2 cups.

If you wish to save the quantity of espresso being brewed, press and hold for 3 seconds.

Appuyer sur la touche correspondant au produit désiré. 1 fois pour une tasse et 2 fois pour 2 tasses. Si l’on souhaite mémoriser la quantité, garder le doigt appuyé pendant 3 secondes.

The machine starts grinding the selected co ee quantity.

La préparation commence, le café est moulu, tassé puis infusé.

Co ee brewing can be stopped at any time by pressing the “STOP COFFEE” button.

Press “STOP COFFEE” to save the quantity.

La distribution du café peut être interrompue à tout moment en sélectionnant « STOP CAFÉ ». Pour mémoriser la quantité, appuyer sur «STOP CAFE» dès que la longueur désirée est atteinte.

Place a cup under the dispensing spout and rotate the upper part of the carafe clockwise.

Mettre une tasse et tourner la buse de distribution lait, vers la tasse dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre.

Press the button corresponding to the desired beverage.

Appuyer sur la touche correspondant à la boisson désirée.

The machine starts brewing. It grinds the co ee and heats up for milk dispensing.

La préparation de la boisson commence.

The machine allows dispensing an additional quantity of milk if the “More Milk” button is pressed.

Le menu permet la distribution d’une quantité supplémentaire de lait si l’on sélectionne «AJOUTER DU LAIT»

The machine brews the co ee.

La machine distribue le café.

At the end remove the cup with the beverage and replace the upper part of the milk carafe. The rinse cycle begins. (see the manual on page 17).

À la  n, remettre la buse de distribution lait dans la position de repos : le cycle de rinçage commence. (voir page 17 du mode d’emploi).

Place a container beneath the hot water/ steam wand.

Placer un récipient sous la buse de distribution d’eau chaude.

Press the hot water button to dispense the programmed quantity.

Press the special beverage to access the menu.

Appuyer sur cette touche pour accéder au menu.

Appuyer sur cette touche pour distribuer la quantité programmée.

When hot water dispensing is complete, remove the container. Repeat the process to dispense another dose.

Place a container beneath the hot water/ steam wand.

Placer un récipient sous la buse de vapeur.

Press the special beverage button to dispense steam. Repeat the process to dispense another dose.

Sélectionner «VAPEUR» sur le menu. Pour arrêter la distribution, sélectionner «STOP VAPEUR». Répéter les étapes 1 à 3 si vous désirez à nouveau de la vapeur.

Vous pouvez arrêter la distribution en cours en sélectionnant «STOP EAU CHAUDE» sur le menu. Répéter les étapes 1 à 3 si vous désirez à nouveau de l’eau chaude.

MAINTENANCE DURING OPERATION  ENTRETIEN PENDANT LE FONCTIONNEMENT

Operations to be performed with machine turned on when the following messages are displayed: “Empty co ee grounds drawer” and/or “Empty drip tray”.

Opérations à e ectuer machine sous tension ou en veille lorsqu’il apparaît les messages « vider le réservoir à marc » et/ou « vider le bac d’égouttement ».

Press the button and open the service door.

Appuyer sur la touche latérale et ouvrir la porte de service.

Remove the drip tray and used grounds drawer.

Retirer le bac à marc avec le tiroir d’égouttement.

Empty the used grounds drawer and the drip tray, wash and replace back into machine.

Vider le bac à marc et le tiroir d’égouttement des eaux usées ; les laver et les remettre en place.

GENERAL MACHINE CLEANING  NETTOYAGE GÉNÉRAL DE LA MACHINE

The cleaning procedure described below must be carried out at least once a week.

Le nettoyage décrit ci-dessous doit être fait au moins une fois par semaine.

Take out the water tank and wash it with fresh water.

Retirer le réservoir à eau et le laver avec de l’eau fraîche.

Turn o the machine and unplug it.

Éteindre la machine et débrancher la le câble d’alimentation électrique.

Remove the drip tray.

Retirer le bac de récupération d’eau.

Remove the dispensing spout and wash it under running water.

Retirer le distributeur et le laver à l’eau courante.

Clean the pre-ground bypass doser with a dry cloth.

Nettoyer le logement du café prémoulu à l’aide d’un chi on sec.

Clean the steam wand and the display with a dry cloth.

Nettoyer la buse de vapeur et l’a cheur à l’aide d’un chi on humide.

The used grounds drawer must be emptied only when the machine requires it and with the machine on.

Ouvrir la porte avant et vider le bac à marc ainsi que le tiroir d’égouttement se trouvant sous le Groupe de distribution.

Remarque : seulement lorsque la machine le demande et allumée ou en veille.

Close the service door.

REFILL WATER TANK

Remove the water tank and re ll it with fresh drinking water.

Open the service door and empty the liquid tray, located under the brew group, and the used grounds drawer.

An event has occurred which requires the machine to restart. Take note of the code (E xx) shown at the bottom. Switch o the machine, wait 30 seconds and then switch it on again. If the problem persists, contact an authorized service center.
