This iron has been approved by The Woolmark Company Pty Ltd for the ironing of wool only products provided that the garments are ironed
according to the instructions on the garment label and those issued by the manufacturer of this iron. R1501. In United Kingdom, Eire, HongKong and
India, the Woolmark trademark is a Certification trademark.

Using your appliance
Filling the water tank
Fill the water tank before every use and when the ‘water tank empty’ light flashes.
Do not add perfume, water from the tumble dryer, vinegar, starch, descaling agents, ironing aids, chemically descaled water or other chemicals, as they may cause water spitting, brown staining or damage to your appliance.

1Remove the water tank from the appliance and fill it with tap water up to the MAX indication.
Tip:Your appliance has been designed for use with tap water. If you live in an area with very hard water, scale builds up quickly. In this case it is recommended to use distilled water to prolong the life of your appliance.
2Put the water tank back into the appliance by sliding in the bottom part first.Then push the top part until it locks into place.
’Water tank empty’ light
When the water tank is almost empty, the ‘water tank empty’ light goes on. Fill the water tank and press the steam trigger to let the appliance heat up again.When the ‘iron ready’ light lights up continuously, you can continue steam ironing.
Temperature setting
The Optimal Temp technology enables you to iron all types of ironable fabrics, in any order, without adjusting the iron temperature setting. Fabrics with these symbols are ironable, for example linen, cotton, polyester, silk, wool, viscose and rayon.
Fabrics with this symbol are not ironable.These fabrics include synthetic fabrics such as Spandex or elastane, Spandex-mixed fabrics and polyolefins (e.g. polypropylene), but also prints on garments.

Place the steam generator on a stable and even surface.
Make sure that there is enough water in the water tank (see section ‘Filling the water tank’).
Put the mains plug in an earthed wall socket and press the on/off button to switch on the steam generator.The blue power-on light on the appliance and the ‘iron ready’ light start to flash to indicate that the appliance is heating up (this takes approx. 2 minutes).
When the appliance is ready for use, the ‘iron ready light’ and the power-on light stop flashing and light up continuously.
Additionally you hear a short beep.
Press the carry lock release button to unlock the iron from the iron platform.
5 Press and hold the steam trigger to start ironing. Never direct steam at people.
Steam boost function
The steam boost function is designed to help tackle difficult creases.
-- Double press the steam trigger for a continuous shot of steam. It is not necessary to press and hold the steam trigger continuously when the steam boost function is activated.To stop the steam boost function,
press the steam trigger once.

Vertical ironing
Hot steam is emitted from the iron. Never attempt to remove creases from a garment that someone is wearing. Do not apply steam near your or someone else’s hand.
You can use the iron in vertical position to remove wrinkles from hanging fabrics.
1Specific types only: put on the glove.
2Hold the iron in vertical position, press the steam trigger and touch the garment slightly with the soleplate.
Putting down the iron during ironing
-- During ironing, you can place the iron either on the iron platform or horizontally on the ironing board.Thanks to the OptimalTemp technology, the soleplate will not damage the ironing board cover.
ECO setting
During ironing, you can use the ECO setting to save energy but still have sufficient steam to iron all your garments.
Note: For the best results, we advise you to use the ‘Optimal Temp’ setting.
1 Press the ECO button.

2To switch back to the ‘OptimalTemp’ setting, press the ECO button again.

TURBO setting
You can use the TURBO setting for faster ironing and a higher amount of steam.You can also use it for vertical ironing.
Note:As the TURBO function produces a high amount of steam, the supply hose may become hotter than at the OptimalTemp and ECO settings. This is normal.

Safety auto-off mode

Note:The appliance is not switched off completely when it is in auto-off mode. To switch off the appliance, press the on/off button.
Cleaning and maintenance
To properly maintain your appliance, clean the iron and the appliance regularly.
1Clean the appliance with a moist cloth.To remove stubborn stains, you can use a small amount of washing-up liquid.
2To easily and effectively remove stains from the soleplate, switch on the appliance and let it heat up.When the appliance has heated up, move the iron over a moist cloth while you press the steam trigger.
Tip: Clean the soleplate regularly to ensure smooth gliding.

IMPORTANT - DESCALING
It is very important to perform the descaling procedure as soon as the EASY DE-CALC light starts to flash and the appliance beeps continuously.
The EASY DE-CALC light flashes and the appliance beeps continuously after about a month or 10 ironing sessions to indicate that the appliance needs to be descaled. Perform the following descaling procedure before you continue ironing.
1Remove the plug from the wall socket.
2Place the appliance on the edge of the tabletop.
3Hold a cup (with a capacity of at least 350ml) under the
EASY DE-CALC knob and turn the knob anticlockwise.
4Remove the EASY DE-CALC knob and let the water with scale particles flow into the cup.
5When no more water comes out of the appliance, reinsert the
EASY DE-CALC knob and turn it clockwise to fasten it.

Storage
1Switch off the appliance and unplug it.
2Remove the water tank and empty it.
3Put the iron on the iron platform. Push the carry lock to lock the iron onto the platform.
4 Fold the supply hose and mains cord. Put them in their respective storage compartments.
5 You can carry the appliance with one hand by the handle of the iron. Do not carry the appliance by holding the water tank release lever.

Den Wassertank füllen
Füllen Sie den Wassertank vor jeder Verwendung und wenn die Anzeige
“Wassertank leer” aufleuchtet.
Verwenden Sie kein parfümiertes Wasser,Wasser aus dem
Wäschetrockner, Essig, Stärke, Entkalkungsmittel, Bügelzusätze, chemisch entkalktesWasser oder andere Chemikalien, da dies zu Austreten von
Wasser, braunen Flecken oder Schäden am Gerät führen kann.

1Nehmen Sie denWassertank vom Gerät ab, und füllen Sie ihn bis zur Markierung MAX mit Leitungswasser.
Tipp: Ihr Gerät wurde für die Verwendung mit Leitungswasser entwickelt. Wenn Sie in einer Region mit sehr hartem Wasser leben, kann sich schnell Kalk bilden. In diesem Fall wird empfohlen, destilliertes Wasser zu verwenden, um die Lebensdauer Ihres Geräts zu verlängern.

Anzeige “Wassertank leer”
Wenn der Wassertank fast leer ist, leuchtet die Anzeige “Wassertank leer” auf. Füllen Sie den Wassertank auf, und drücken Sie den Dampfauslöser, um das Gerät wieder aufheizen zu lassen.Wenn die Bereitschaftsanzeige dauerhaft aufleuchtet, können Sie mit dem Dampfbügeln fortfahren.
Temperatureinstellung
Mit der “Optimal Temp”-Technologie können Sie alle bügelechten Textilien ohne Einstellung der Bügeltemperatur bügeln.
Stoffe mit diesen Symbolen sind bügelecht, z. B. Leinen, Baumwolle, Polyester, Seide,Wolle,Viskose und Reyon.
Stoffe mit diesem Symbol sind nicht bügelecht. Zu diesen Stoffen gehören Synthetikfasern wie zum Beispiel Lycra oder Elastan, Lycra-Mischgewebe und Polyolefine (z. B. Polypropylen), aber auch Kleidungsstücke mit Aufdruck.

Vertikales Bügeln
Aus dem Bügeleisen tritt heißer Dampf aus.Versuchen Sie nicht, Falten aus einem Kleidungsstück zu entfernen, das sich am Körper befindet.
Verwenden Sie Dampf nicht in der Nähe Ihrer Hände oder der Hände einer anderen Person.
Sie können das Bügeleisen in senkrechter Position verwenden, um Falten aus hängenden Kleidungsstücken zu entfernen.

Reinigung und Wartung
Um Ihr Gerät ordnungsgemäß zu warten, sollten Sie das Bügeleisen und das Gerät regelmäßig reinigen.
1Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchtenTuch. Hartnäckige Flecken können Sie mit etwas Spülmittel entfernen.
2 Um Flecken einfach und effektiv von der Bügelsohle zu entfernen, schalten Sie das Gerät ein, und warten Sie, bis es aufgeheizt ist. Fahren Sie dann mit dem Bügeleisen über ein feuchtesTuch, während Sie den Dampfauslöser drücken.
Tipp: Reinigen Sie regelmäßig die Bügelsohle, um eine ausgezeichnete Gleitfähigkeit sicherzustellen.

Es ist sehr wichtig, den Entkalkungsvorgang durchzuführen, sobald die EASY DE-CALC-Anzeige beginnt zu blinken und das Gerät einen dauerhaften Signalton ausgibt.
Nach ca. einem Monat oder 10 Bügelvorgängen blinkt die EASY DE-CALC- Anzeige, und das Gerät gibt einen dauerhaften Signalton aus, um anzuzeigen, dass das Gerät entkalkt werden muss. Führen Sie den folgenden
Entkalkungsvorgang aus, bevor Sie das Bügeln fortsetzen.
1Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
2Stellen Sie das Gerät auf die Kante desTisches.
3Halten Sie eineTasse mit einem Fassungsvermögen von mindestens 350 ml unter den EASY DE-CALC-Verschluss, und drehen Sie den Verschluss gegen den Uhrzeigersinn.
4Entfernen Sie den EASY DE-CALC-Verschluss, und lassen Sie das Wasser mit Kalkpartikeln in dieTasse fließen.
5Wenn keinWasser mehr aus dem Gerät fließt, setzen Sie den EASY-DE-CALC-Verschluss wieder auf, und drehen Sie ihn im Uhrzeigersinn fest.

Wickeln Sie denVerbindungsschlauch und das Netzkabel auf, und verstauen Sie sie in ihren jeweiligen Aufbewahrungsfächern.
Sie können das Gerät am Griff mit nur einer Hand tragen.
Tragen Sie das Gerät nicht am Entriegelungshebel für denWassertank.
