HDTV-ready LCD TV

HDTV delivers exceptional picture quality and real movie-viewing experience that makes television more dynamic, truer than anything you've seen before. It is the latest and best television signal available. It features picture quality more than twice that of traditional analog broadcasts. In order to effectively maximize the HDTV signal, a television must incorporate advanced signal input connectivity and circuitry design. To use HDTV the TV must be connected through its component video or DVI inputs to a DTV set-top box and set to operate in the DTV mode.

3D combfilter

A 3D combfilter is a device that performs field-by-field comparisons of the television image to accurately separate the color from the black-and-white information. It separates brightness and color signals better in the 3D domain to eliminate cross-color, cross-luminance and dot-crawl distortion - all of which detract from your viewing pleasure.

DVI-D input and HDCP support

A DVI-D input makes an uncompressed digital RGB connection from source to screen. By eliminating the conversion of the digital signal to analog, it delivers an unblemished image. Thanks to the non-degraded signal, you get less flicker and a clearer picture. The DVI input is fully backward compatible with HDMI sources and also uses HDCP copy protection.

VGA input

VGA input provides a connector to accommodate input of an analog signal for use as a PC monitor.
