Installation
NOTE: The LD4H Series lower domes have been designed to fit with the Spectra IV SE Horizon Series dome drives only. These lower domes cannot be used
with other camera systems.
To install the lower dome:
1. Hanging down from the back box is a flexible strap (the trim ring leash). There is a large keyhole-shaped opening in the end of the trim ring leash. Slide
the large part of the keyhole opening over the raised retainer screw located on the inside edge of the lower dome. Tuck the end of the trim ring leash
behind the raised plastic stop. Before releasing the lower dome, make sure the leash will hold it securely. Refer to Figure 1.
2. After the dome drive is installed, push the lower dome inside the back box. Tighten the two captive screws to secure the lower dome. Refer to
Figure 2.
NOTE: Ensure that the lower dome is positioned to minimize the effect of the dome bubble seam on any critical viewing areas. Refer to the Important Note
shipped with the Spectra IV SE Horizon dome drive.
