Calipsa® Videofied Integration User Guide
Introduction
This guide covers the steps required to integrate your Videofied cameras with the Calipsa platform. Other
common integration steps, such as configuring your system to send alarms to your gmail account are
also covered.
Videofied
Setting up Videofied with Calipsa
This guide includes instructions for setting up your Frontel and your Calipsa account when using Calipsa
with Videofied.
Understanding Specifications
Read the following documentation for the Calipsa Videofied integration.
Videofied TCP Server Integration With Calipsa
This document includes essential information and specifications about using Calipsa with Videofied. This
document includes details on how to test the integration as well.
Whitelisting IP Addresses
It is important you whitelist the following IP addresses to make sure you can send and receive data to and
from Calipsa.
Sending Data to Calipsa
Whitelist the DNS record for sending data to Calipsa: videofied.calipsa.io.
Receiving Data from Calipsa
Whitelist this IP address to receive data from Calipsa:
l
52.19.32.51
l
52.212.236.183
Receiving Data from Frontel
In addition to the DNS record for communicating with Calipsa, sometimes Calipsa needs to channel
signals from your receiver to Frontel. To make sure these signals are not blocked by your firewall,
whitelist the following three IP addresses:
l
34.246.49.78
l
52.30.30.208
l
34.252.245.52

further processing. If the alarm is false, Calipsa will reprocess it at 100%. This will allow faster
delivery of true alarms.
l
Receiver Connect Host: Enter the IP address for your receiver. Calipsa will send data to this
IP address.
l
Receiver Connect Port: Enter the port for your receiver. Calipsa will send data to to this
port.

Calipsa account.
Activating a Site
1. Select the Clients page.
2. Select the customer account for which the site is associated with.
3. Select the site (by default, a site is named the same as the Panel Serial Number).
4. Select Edit to open up the Configurationsettings.
5. Click on the toggle that will originally be showing as Inactive. This will make the site active and
should look like the screenshot below.

1. Under Host/IP Address, enter the IP address/DNS of your server
2. Under HTTP port, enter the HTTP port number. If unsure, try entering 25.
3. Under Username and Password, enter the login credentials for your server. If you are using
Immix, leave this section blank.

S123@immixalarms.com for an Immix server.
5. Test the connection.
6. If connected, click Save.
NOTE: These settings will automatically apply to all new sites added. To direct a specific site to a
different location, you will need to change the monitoring station SMTP details on the site level.
Troubleshooting Questions
Q: The Test email said successful however I cannot see a test email received in Calipsa.
A: If the test fails please follow the steps below in order.
1. Check that you whitelisted our relevant IP addresses within your monitoring station sever.
2. Check that you entered the correct credentials. Even the test email needs to be an email address
that exists within your server.
3. Try enabling "Use proper Helo". this is a different method of connection to fit with the additional
security requirements of some systems.
4. Reach out to the Calipsa support team by submitting a request or emailing: support@calipsa.io
Q: Can I send alarms to an email address instead?
A: Yes you can send to an email server as long as the specified email server allows it within their security
settings. Please see the Calipsa Email Alarm Notifications Manual for an example.
