Belangrijke informatie

Van harte gefeliciteerd met de aanschaf van uw Panasonic digitale mobiele
telefoon. Deze telefoon werd ontworpen voor gebruik op de volgende GSM­netwerken: GSM900, GSM1800 en GSM1900. Hij biedt tevens ondersteuning voor
GPRS voor packet-dataverbindingen. Zorg ervoor dat de batterij vóór het gebruik
volledig is opgeladen.

Panasonic Mobile Communications Development of Europe Ltd. verklaart dat de
EB-X300 aan de fundamentele en andere toepasselijke vereisten van de 1999/5/
EG-richtlijn voldoet.

Veiligheidsvoorschriften

Lees de volgende informatie aandachtig door om vertrouwd te raken met de
werking van uw telefoon en deze op een veilige en milieuvriendelijke wijze en
overeenkomstig de statutaire vereisten voor mobiele telefoons te gebruiken.

Tijdens het

Schakel uw mobiele telefoon uit wanneer u zich in een
vliegtuig bevindt. Het gebruik van mobiele telefoons in een
vliegtuig kan gevaar opleveren voor de werking van het
vliegtuig, het cellulaire netwerk ontwrichten en is illegaal. Het
niet naleven van deze voorschriften kan ertoe leiden dat de
overtreder het gebruik van mobiele telefoondiensten tijdelijk
of permanent wordt ontzegd en/of leiden tot rechtsvervolging
of beide.

De batterij niet verbranden of als gewoon huisvuil
wegwerpen. De batterij moet overeenkomstig de plaatselijke
wetgeving worden vernietigd of gerecycleerd.

Het is aangeraden de telefoon uit te schakelen wanneer u
zich bij een benzinestation bevindt. Wij herinneren
gebruikers eraan dat zij zich moeten houden aan de
beperkingen inzake het gebruik van radioapparatuur bij
brandstofopslagplaatsen, chemische bedrijven en op
plaatsen waar met springstoffen wordt gewerkt. De batterijen
nooit aan extreme temperaturen (hoger dan 60°C)
blootstellen.

Gebruikers moeten te allen tijde in controle blijven van hun
motorvoertuig. Neem de telefoon niet op Tijdens het
autorijden maar vind eerst een veilige plaats om te stoppen.
Spreek niet in een handsfree microfoon als u hierdoor uw
aandacht niet op de weg kunt houden. U dient altijd volledig
op de hoogte te zijn van bijzondere beperkingen inzake het
gebruik van mobiele telefoons in het gebied waar u doorheen
rijdt en u dient deze te allen tijde na te leven.

Elektronische

Wees voorzichtig wanneer u de telefoon dichtbij medische
apparaten zoals pacemakers en gehoorapparaten gebruikt.

Microgolven

Belangrijk

Als uw telefoon, de bijbehorende batterij of oplaadaccessoi­res nat zijn, plaats deze dan niet in verwarmingsapparatuur,
zoals een magnetron, een hogedruk-container, een droger of
een soortgelijk apparaat. Dit kan tot gevolg hebben dat de
batterij, de telefoon en/of de laadapparatuur gaan lekken,
warm worden, uitzetten, exploderen en/of in brand vliegen.
Bovendien kunnen het product of de accessoires dampen af­geven waardoor de electrische circuits kunnen worden be­schadigd en de producten niet meer functioneren. Panasonic
kan niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld voor enige schade die
direct of indirect is veroorzaakt door misbruik van het product
of de elektrische.

Houd de telefoon vast zoals een gewone telefoon om deze zo
efficiënt mogelijk te gebruiken. De antenne niet aanraken of
met beide handen afschermen terwijl de telefoon is
ingeschakeld om verslechtering van de signaalkwaliteit of
antenneprestatie te voorkomen (Zie „SAR-verklaring“).

Het zonder toestemming aanbrengen van wijzigingen of
hulpstukken kan de telefoon beschadigen en inbreuk plegen
op de heersende reglementering. Het zonder toestemming
aanbrengen van wijzigingen of hulpstukken kan uw garantie
doen vervallen dit doet geen afbreuk aan uw statutaire rechten.

Voor het LCD-scherm is gebruik gemaakt van zeer
nauwkeurige technologie; onder bepaalde omstandigheden
kunnen de pixels helderder of juist donkerder lijken. Dit is toe
te schrijven aan eigenschappen van de LCD en is geen
fabrieksfout.

4 Belangrijke informatie

De telefoon mag uitsluitend met door Panasonic
goedgekeurde accessoires worden gebruikt om een
optimale prestatie te garanderen en beschadiging van uw
telefoon te voorkomen. Panasonic aanvaardt geen enkele
aansprakelijkheid voor schade veroorzaakt door het gebruik
van niet door Panasonic goedgekeurde accessoires.

Deze telefoon moet overeenkomstig de toepasselijke
internationale of nationale reglementering of eventuele
restricties inzake het gebruik hiervan voor specifieke
toepassingen en in specifieke omgevingen worden gebruikt.
Dit met inbegrip van, maar niet beperkt tot het gebruik van de
telefoon in ziekenhuizen, vliegtuigen, tijdens het autorijden,
enz. en ander beperkt gebruik.

Wij raden u aan om een kopie of backup te maken van alle
belangrijke informatie of gegevens die u in het geheugen van
uw telefoon opslaat. Volg alle onderhouds- en
gebruiksvoorschriften voor uw telefoon en de batterij om het
per ongeluk verliezen van gegevens te vermijden. Panasonic
aanvaardt geen enkele aansprakelijkheid voor enig verlies,
van welke aard dan ook, voortvloeiende uit het verlies van
data, met inbegrip van, maar niet beperkt tot directe en
indirecte schade (met inbegrip maar niet beperkt tot
gevolgschade en winstderving).

Uw telefoon kan persoonlijke informatie opslaan en
versturen. Wij raden u aan om persoonlijke of financiële
informatie ergens anders dan in uw telefoon te bewaren. U
dient de beveiligingsfuncties zoals telefoonblokkering en/of
blokkering van de SIM-kaart van de telefoon voor het
beveiligen van opgeslagen informatie te gebruiken.
Panasonic aanvaardt geen enkele aansprakelijkheid voor
enig verlies, van welke aard dan ook, voortvloeiende uit het
verlies van data, met inbegrip van, maar niet beperkt tot
directe en indirecte schade (met inbegrip van, maar niet
beperkt tot gevolgschade en winstderving).

Downloaden

Camera

Uw telefoon kan informatie en data uit externe bronnen
downloaden en opslaan. Het is uw verantwoordelijkheid om
ervoor te zorgen dat u geen inbreuk pleegt op het hierop
rustende auteursrecht of andere toepasselijke wetgeving.
Panasonic aanvaardt geen enkele aansprakelijkheid voor
enig verlies, van welke aard dan ook, voortvloeiende uit het
verlies van data of inbreuk op auteursrecht of IPR, met
inbegrip van, maar niet beperkt tot directe en indirecte
schade (met inbegrip maar niet beperkt tot gevolgschade en
winstderving).

Wij raden u aan om de ingebouwde camera op een
verantwoordelijke manier te gebruiken. Het is uw
verantwoordelijkheid om ervoor te zorgen dat u toestemming
heeft om foto’s te maken van personen en voorwerpen en
dat u door het gebruik van de camera geen inbreuk pleegt op
persoonlijke en publieke rechten. U dient de toepasselijke
internationale of nationale reglementering inzake het gebruik
van de camera in bepaalde situaties en omgevingen na te
leven. Dit heeft tevens betrekking op het gebruik van de
camera op plaatsen waar camera’s en videoapparatuur
verboden zijn. Panasonic aanvaardt geen enkele
aansprakelijkheid voor enig verlies, van welke aard dan ook,
voortvloeiende uit de inbreuk op auteursrecht of IPR, met
inbegrip van, maar niet beperkt tot directe en indirecte
schade.

De cameralens niet aan direct zonlicht blootstellen. Dit kan
afbreuk doen aan de werking van de camera. Het zonder
toestemming aanbrengen van wijzigingen of hulpstukken
kan de telefoon beschadigen en inbreuk plegen op de
heersende reglementering. Het zonder toestemming
aanbrengen van wijzigingen of hulpstukken kan uw garantie
doen vervallen – dit doet geen afbreuk aan uw statutaire
rechten.

SAR

Europese Unie – RTTE

DEZE TELEFOON VAN PANASONIC (MODEL EB-X300) VOLDOET AAN DE
EU-NORMEN VOOR BLOOTSTELLING AAN RADIOGOLVEN.

Uw mobiele telefoon is een radiozender en -ontvanger. Bij het ontwerp en de
productie is het uitgangspunt geweest dat het apparaat niet de normen voor
blootstelling aan energie van radiofrequenties (RF) overschrijdt zoals die zijn
aanbevolen door de Raad van de Europese Unie. Deze beperkingen maken deel
uit van uitgebreide richtlijnen en vastgestelde getolereerde niveaus van RF­energie voor het publiek. De richtlijnen zijn ontwikkeld door onafhankelijke
wetenschappelijke organisaties met behulp van periodieke en grondige evaluaties
van wetenschappelijk onderzoek. In de normen is een ruime veiligheidsmarge
opgenomen om de veiligheid te verzekeren van iedere gebruiker, ongeacht leeftijd
of gezondheid.

Voor de norm voor blootstelling aan deze energie in het geval van mobiele
telefoons wordt gebruik gemaakt van een maateenheid die bekend is onder de
naam SAR (Specifiek Absorptieratio, het geabsorbeerde vermogen per massa­eenheid van weefsel uitgedrukt in Watt per kilogram (W/kg). De door de Raad van
de Europese Unie aanbevolen SAR-grens is 2,0 W/kg*. Er zijn SAR-tests
uitgevoerd waarbij de normale bedieningsposities zijn gebruikt en de telefoon op
het hoogst toegestane vermogen radiogolven uitzond over alle geteste
frequentiebanden. Hoewel de SAR is vastgesteld op basis van het hoogst
gecertificeerde vermogen, kan het werkelijke SAR-niveau van de telefoon bij
gebruik beduidend lager zijn dan deze maximumwaarde. Dit heeft te maken met
het feit dat de telefoon zodanig is ontworpen dat deze op verschillende
vermogensniveaus werkt zodat, afhankelijk van waar u zich bevindt, uitsluitend het
vermogen wordt gebruikt dat nodig is om de netwerkzenders te ontvangen en te
bereiken. In het algemeen geldt dat hoe dichter u bij de antenne van een
basisstation bent, des te geringer het geleverde vermogen is.

Voordat een telefoonmodel aan het publiek verkocht kan worden, dient het bewijs
te worden overlegd van conformiteit met de Europese R&TTE-richtlijn. Deze
richtlijn bevat als essentiële eis de bescherming van de gezondheid en veiligheid
van de gebruiker en derden. De SAR-waarde voor dit telefoonmodel, die tegen het
oor werd getest inzake de naleving van de norm, bedroeg 0,863 W/kg. Alhoewel

er tussen de SAR-niveaus van verschillende telefoons en bij verschillende
houdingen verschillen kunnen bestaan, voldoen alle telefoons aan de EU­vereisten voor blootstelling aan radiofrequentie.

* De SAR-limiet voor mobiele telefoons die door het publiek worden gebruikt, is
2,0 watt/kilogram (W/kg) gemiddeld over tien gram weefsel. In de limiet is een
aanmerkelijke veiligheidsmarge ingebouwd om het publiek extra bescherming te
bieden en om rekening te houden met eventuele afwijkingen van de metingen.
SAR-waarden kunnen variëren afhankelijk van nationale vereisten en de
netwerkband.

Onderhoud

Het drukken op de toetsen kan een luide toon produceren.
Houd de telefoon niet dichtbij uw oor als u op de toetsen
drukt.

Buitengewoon hoge of lage temperaturen kunnen een
voorbijgaand effect hebben op de werking van uw telefoon.
Dit is normaal en wijst niet op een defect.
Als u de telefoon gedurende lange tijd bij temperaturen van
meer dan 40°C gebruikt dan kan de kwaliteit van de
schermweergave verminderen.

De telefoon niet veranderen of demonteren. De telefoon
bevat geen onderdelen die door de gebruiker onderhouden
moeten worden.

De telefoon niet aan buitensporige trillingen of schokken
blootstellen. De batterij niet laten vallen.

Contact met vloeistoffen vermijden. De batterij onmiddellijk
verwijderen als de telefoon nat wordt en contact opnemen
met uw leverancier.

10 Onderhoud

De telefoon niet aan direct zonlicht blootstellen of in een
vochtige, stoffige of warme omgeving laten liggen.
De batterij nooit in vuur wegwerpen. De batterij kan
exploderen.

Metalen voorwerpen die contact kunnen maken met de
contactpunten uit de buurt van de telefoon/batterij houden.
De batterijen kunnen uw bezittingen beschadigen en letsel of
brandwonden veroorzaken als de contactpunten van de
batterij met een geleidend materiaal (zoals metalen
sieraden, sleutels e.d.) in contact komen.

De batterij altijd in een goed geventileerde ruimte en niet in
direct zonlicht bij een temperatuur van +5°C tot +35°C
opladen. De batterij kan niet buiten dit temperatuurbereik
worden opgeladen.

Voor het aansluiten van de telefoon op een externe bron
moet u altijd de gebruiksaanwijzing van het apparaat voor
aansluitinstructies en de veiligheidsvoorschriften lezen.
Controleer of de telefoon compatibel is met het product
waarop u hem aansluit.

Raadpleeg de plaatselijke autoriteiten omtrent informatie
over recycling als u de verpakking of oude apparaten wilt
wegwerpen.

Garantie Europese Unie

De EU/EER-garantie wordt verleend in de Europese Unie/Europese Economische
Ruimte en Zwitserland.

Panasonic GSM Europese Servicegarantievoorwaarden

Geachte Klant,

Van harte gefeliciteerd met de aanschaf van uw Panasonic digitale mobiele
telefoon. De Panasonic GSM Europese servicegarantie is uitsluitend geldig tijdens
het reizen in andere landen dan het land waarin het product werd gekocht. Uw
plaatselijke garantie is in alle andere gevallen van toepassing. Neem contact op
met het plaatselijke servicecentrum in dit document als uw Panasonic
gsm-telefoon tijdens uw verblijf in het buitenland gerepareerd moet worden.

Garantie

De Europese garantie voor gsm’s wordt in het algemeen verleend voor 12
maanden voor de telefoon en voor een periode van 3 maanden voor de oplaadbare
batterij. Behoudens de hieronder vermelde voorwaarden, kan de klant met
betrekking tot een product dat in een ander land dan het land van aankoop wordt
gebruikt, gedurende respectievelijk 12 en 3 maanden, aanspraak maken op deze
garantie als de garantievoorwaarden hiervan gunstiger zijn dan de plaatselijke
garantievoorwaarden in het land van gebruik.

Garantievoorwaarden

Indien de koper reparaties wil laten uitvoeren onder de garantie, dan dient de koper
de garantiekaart samen met de aankoopbon aan een erkend servicecentrum te
tonen.

De garantie dekt gebreken voortvloeiend uit fabricage- of constructiefouten; de
garantie is niet van toepassing op andere gevallen zoals accidentele
beschadiging, hoe dan ook ontstaan, normale slijtage, nalatigheid en niet door ons
goedgekeurde instellingen, veranderingen of reparaties.

Uw enig en exclusief verhaal onder deze garantie is de reparatie, of naar onze
keuze, de vervanging van het product of een defect onderdeel of de defecte
onderdelen. De koper kan geen aanspraak maken op enig ander verhaal, met
inbegrip van maar niet beperkt tot, incidentele of gevolgschade van welke aard dan
ook.

14 Garantie Europese Unie

Dit is een aanvulling op de statutaire rechten of andere consumentenrechten en
doet geen afbreuk aan deze rechten. Deze garantie is van toepassing in de in dit
document vermelde landen bij de erkende reparatiecentra in die landen.

EU/EER-garantie De voorwaarden zijn van toepassing in alle landen behalve in het
land van aankoop.

Als de koper een gebrek constateert, dan dient hij onverwijld contact op te nemen met het
toepasselijke verkoopbedrijf of de nationale distributeur in het land van de Europese Unie/
Europese Economische Ruimte waar de garantie werd verleend, zoals vermeld in de
„Klantenservice gids“, of de dichtstbijzijnde erkende distributeur en de garantie en
aankoopbon tonen. De koper wordt hierna geïnformeerd of:

(i) het verkoopbedrijf of de nationale distributeur de reparatie zal uitvoeren; of
(ii) het verkoopbedrijf of de nationale distributeur voor het vervoer zal zorgen van het

apparaat naar het land van de Europese Unie/Europese Economische Ruimte waar het
apparaat oorspronkelijk werd verkocht; of

(iii) de koper zelf het apparaat naar het verkoopbedrijf of de nationale distributeur moet
sturen in het land van de Europese Unie/Europese Economische Ruimte waar het
apparaat oorspronkelijk werd verkocht.

Als het apparaat een model is dat normaal verkocht wordt door het verkoopbedrijf of de
nationale distributeur in het land waar het door de koper wordt gebruikt, dan dient het
apparaat, samen met de garantiekaart en aankoopbon, voor rekening en risico van de
koper te worden geretourneerd naar een verkoopbedrijf of distributeur die de reparatie zal
uitvoeren. In sommige landen zal het gelieerde verkoopbedrijf of de plaatselijke
distributeur dealers of bepaalde servicecentra aanwijzen om de nodige reparaties uit te
voeren.

Als het apparaat een model is dat normaal niet wordt verkocht in het land van gebruik of
als de interne en externe productkenmerken verschillen van de kenmerken van het
equivalente model in het land van gebruik, dan kan het verkoopbedrijf of de nationale
distributeur de reparaties laten uitvoeren door reserveonderdelen te bestellen in het land

THIS PANASONIC PHONE (MODEL EB-X300) MEETS THE EU
REQUIREMENTS FOR EXPOSURE TO RADIO WAVES.

Your mobile phone is a radio transmitter and receiver. It is designed and
manufactured not to exceed the limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy
recommended by The Council of the European Union. These limits are part of
comprehensive guidelines and establish permitted levels of RF energy for the
general population. The guidelines were developed by independent scientific
organisations through periodic and thorough evaluation of scientific studies. The
limits include a substantial safety margin designed to assure the safety of all
persons, regardless of age and health.

The exposure standard for mobile phones employs a unit of measurement known
as the Specific Absorption Rate or SAR. The SAR limit recommended by The
Council of the European Union is 2.0 W/kg*. Tests for SAR have been conducted
using standard operating positions with the phone transmitting at its highest
certified power level in all tested frequency bands. Although the SAR is determined
at the highest certified power level, the actual SAR level of the phone while
operating can be well below the maximum value. This is because the phone is
designed to operate at multiple power levels so as to use only the power required
to reach the network. In general, the closer you are to a base station antenna, the
lower the power output.

Before a phone model is available for sale to the public, compliance with the
European R&TTE directive must be shown. This directive includes as one
essential requirement the protection of the health and the safety for the user and
any other person. The SAR value for this model phone, when tested for use at the
ear, for compliance against the standard was 0.863 W/kg. While there may be
differences between the SAR levels of various phones and at various positions,
they all meet the EU requirements for RF exposure.

Pressing any of the keys may produce a loud tone. Avoid
holding the phone close to the ear while pressing the keys.

Extreme temperatures may have a temporary effect on the
operation of your phone. This is normal and does not indicate
a fault. The display quality may deteriorate if the phone is
used in environments over 40°C for a long time.

Do not modify or disassemble the equipment. There are no
user serviceable parts inside.

Do not subject the equipment to excessive vibration or
shocks. Do not drop the battery.

Avoid contact with liquids. If the equipment becomes wet,
immediately remove the battery and contact your dealer.

Do not leave the equipment in direct sunlight or a humid,
dusty or hot area.
Never throw a battery into a fire. It may explode.

Batteries can cause property damage, injury, or burns if

recharge the battery if it is outside this temperature range.

When connecting the phone to an external source, read the

The Guarantee

The applicable period of the European wide guarantee for GSM is generally 12
months for the main body and 3 months for the rechargeable battery. With respect

use, from these guarantee periods of, respectively, 12 and 3 months, if these

CE TELEPHONE PANASONIC (MODELE EB-X300) EST CONFORME AUX
EXIGENCES DE L’U.E. POUR L’EXPOSITION AUX ONDES
RADIOELECTRIQUES.

Votre téléphone mobile est un émetteur et un récepteur radio. Il est conçu et
fabriqué de manière à ne pas dépasser les limites d’exposition aux
radiofréquences (RF) recommandées par le Conseil de l’Union européenne. Ces
limites font parties de recommandations complètes et elles établissent les valeurs
admissibles d’exposition du public aux radiofréquences. Les recommandations ont
été élaborées par des organisations scientifiques indépendantes, à l’aide
d’évaluations périodiques et approfondies d’études scientifiques. Les
recommandations comprennent une marge de sécurité importante afin d’assurer
la sécurité de toutes les personnes, sans tenir compte de leur âge ou de leur état
de santé.

La norme d’exposition applicable aux téléphones mobiles utilise une unité de
mesure appelée Specific Absorption Rate ou SAR, en français DAS (Débit
d’Absorption Spécifique). La limite de SAR recommandée par le Conseil de l’Union
Européenne est 2,0 W/kg*. Les tests de contrôle du SAR sont effectués en utilisant
le téléphone dans des positions standard et en transmettant au plus haut niveau
de puissance certifié dans toutes les bandes de fréquences testées. Même si le
SAR est déterminé au plus haut niveau de puissance certifié, le niveau réel du
SAR du téléphone pendant son fonctionnement peut se situer bien en dessous de
la valeur maximum. La raison en est que le téléphone est conçu pour fonctionner
à des niveaux de puissance multiples de manière à n’utiliser que la puissance
requise pour atteindre le réseau. En général, plus vous êtes proche d’une station
de base, moins la puissance de sortie du téléphone est élevée.

Avant qu’un modèle de téléphone puisse être commercialisé auprès du public, la
conformité à la directive européenne RTTE doit être établie. Une des exigences
essentielles de cette directive concerne la protection de la santé et la sécurité de
l’utilisateur et de toutes les autres personnes. La valeur du SAR pour ce modèle
de téléphone lors des tests d’utilisation à l’oreille pour établir la conformité à la
norme est 0,863 W/kg. Même s’il peut y avoir des différences entre les niveaux de

Entretien et maintenance

Le fait d’appuyer sur les touches peut produire une tonalité
forte. Evitez de tenir le téléphone près de votre oreille
lorsque vous appuyez sur les touches.

Les températures extrêmes peuvent affecter
temporairement le fonctionnement de votre téléphone. Ceci
est tout à fait normal et n’indique pas une défaillance. Si vous
utilisez votre téléphone longuement alors que la température
est supérieure à 40°C, la qualité de l’affichage peut se
détériorer.

Ne modifiez ou démontez pas cet appareil. Il ne contient
aucune pièce susceptible d’être réparée par l’utilisateur.

Ne soumettez pas cet appareil à des vibrations ou chocs
excessifs. La batterie craint les chocs. Ne la laissez pas
tomber.

Evitez tout contact avec des liquides. Si l’appareil entre en
contact avec un liquide, enlevez immédiatement la batterie
et contactez votre fournisseur.

N’exposez pas l’appareil au soleil, à l’humidité, à la
poussière ou à la chaleur.
Ne jamais jeter une batterie au feu. Elle risque d’exploser.

Tenez éloignés de l’appareil et de la batterie les objets
métalliques qui pourraient accidentellement entrer en

Les batteries peuvent provoquer des dégâts matériels, des

(bijoux en métal, clés, etc.) entrent en contact avec les
terminaux.

Rechargez toujours la batterie dans un endroit bien aéré et à
l’abri des rayons du soleil, entre +5°C et +35°C. La batterie
ne se recharge pas lorsque la température ambiante se
trouve hors de cette fourchette.

Lorsque vous connectez votre téléphone à une source
externe, lisez toujours les instructions d’utilisation de cet
appareil pour procéder correctement à la connexion et
prendre les mesures qui s’imposent en matière de sécurité.
Vérifiez également que votre téléphone est compatible avec
l’appareil auquel vous le connectez.

Lorsque vous vous débarrassez d’emballages ou de matériel

Garantie U.E./E.E.E. Conditions applicables dans tous les pays à l’exception du pays
d’achat d’origine.

Lorsque l’acheteur constate que l’appareil est défectueux, il doit immédiatement prendre
contact avec la société de vente ou le distributeur national du pays membre de l’U.E./
E.E.E. où l’exécution de la garantie est réclamée comme indiqué dans le “Guide de
service après-vente” et présenter cette garantie et une preuve de la date d’achat. On
informera alors l’acheteur :

(i) si c’est la société de vente ou le distributeur national qui se chargera de la réparation ;
ou

(ii) si c’est la société de vente ou le distributeur national qui prendra les mesures
nécessaires à l’envoi de l’appareil vers le pays membre de l’U.E./E.E.E. où l’appareil a

Europäische Union – RTTE

DIESES PANASONIC-TELEFON (MODELL EB-X300) ERFÜLLT DIE
ANFORDERUNGEN DER EU FÜR BELASTUNG DURCH FUNKWELLEN.

Ihr Mobiltelefon ist ein Funksender und -empfänger. Die Konstruktion und
Herstellung des Gerätes gewährleisten, dass es die vom Rat der Europäischen
Union empfohlenen Hochfrequenz (HF)-Expositionsgrenzwerte nicht
überschreitet. Diese Grenzwerte sind ein Bestandteil umfassender Richtlinien und
geben die zulässigen Mengen von HF-Energie für die Allgemeinbevölkerung an.
Die Richtlinien wurden von unabhängigen wissenschaftlichen Organisationen
durch die regelmäßige, gründliche Auswertung wissenschaftlicher Studien
erarbeitet und enthalten eine beträchtliche Sicherheitsspanne, um die Sicherheit
aller Personen, ungeachtet ihres Alters und Gesundheitszustandes, zu
garantieren.

Die Expositionsnorm für Mobiltelefone verwendet eine Maßeinheit, die als
„spezifische Absorbierungsrate“ oder SAR bezeichnet wird. Der vom Rat der
Europäischen Union empfohlene SAR-Grenzwert beträgt 2,0 W/kg*. SAR-Tests
werden mit standardmäßigen Verwendungspositionen durchgeführt, wobei das
Telefon in allen getesteten Frequenzbändern mit dem höchsten zugelassenen
Leistungspegel sendet. Obwohl die SAR mit dem höchsten zugelassenen
Leistungspegel ermittelt wird, kann die tatsächliche SAR bei Verwendung des
Telefons weit unter diesem Höchstwert liegen. Das Telefon ist in der Lage, mit
verschiedenen Leistungspegeln zu arbeiten, so dass nur der jeweils erforderliche
Leistungspegel zum Erreichen des Netzes verwendet wird. Im Allgemeinen gilt: je
näher eine Basisstationsantenne, desto niedriger die Leistungsabgabe des
Telefons.

Bevor ein Telefon der Öffentlichkeit zum Kauf angeboten werden kann, muss
seine Übereinstimmung mit der R&TTE-Richtlinie der EU belegt werden. Als
wesentliche Anforderung schreibt diese den Schutz der Gesundheit und Sicherheit
des Benutzers und anderer Personen vor. Der SAR-Wert für dieses Telefonmodell
in Tests mit Verwendung direkt am Ohr, um die Erfüllung der Norm zu überprüfen,
betrug 0,863 W/kg. Während einzelne Telefone an verschiedenen Standorten
abweichende SAR-Pegel aufweisen können, erfüllen alle Geräte die EU­Anforderungen hinsichtlich HF-Exposition.

Wartung und Pflege

Beim Drücken der Tasten kann ein lauter Ton erklingen.
Vermeiden Sie es deshalb, das Telefon beim Drücken der
Tasten dicht an das Ohr zu halten.

Extreme Temperaturen können den Betrieb Ihres Telefons
vorübergehend beeinträchtigen. Das ist normal und stellt
keine Fehlfunktion dar. Wenn Sie das Telefon über einen
längeren Zeitraum bei Temperaturen über 40 °C verwenden,
kann die Qualität der Anzeige beeinträchtigt werden.

Das Gerät sollte weder modifiziert noch auseinander
genommen werden. Es enthält keine Teile, die vom Benutzer
gewartet werden können.

Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen übermäßigen Vibrationen oder
Stößen aus. Lassen Sie den Akku nicht fallen.

Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit Flüssigkeiten. Wenn das
Gerät nass wird, entnehmen Sie sofort den Akku und
wenden Sie sich an Ihren Händler.

Lassen Sie das Gerät nicht in direktem Sonnenlicht oder an
feuchten, staubigen oder heißen Orten liegen.
Werfen Sie den Akku niemals ins Feuer. Er könnte

Halten Sie Metallobjekte, welche die Anschlusspunkte
versehentlich berühren könnten, vom Gerät/Akku fern.
Akkus können Sachschäden, Verletzungen oder
Verbrennungen verursachen, wenn die Anschlusspunkte mit
einem leitfähigen Werkstoff (z. B. Metallschmuck, Schlüssel
usw.) in Kontakt kommen.

Laden Sie den Akku immer an einem gut belüfteten Ort auf,
nicht in direktem Sonnenlicht und bei Temperaturen
zwischen +5 °C und +35 °C. Der Akku kann außerhalb
dieses Temperaturbereichs nicht aufgeladen werden.

entschieden haben. Die europaweite Panasonic GSM Service-Garantie gilt nur
während Reisen in anderen Ländern als dort, wo das Gerät ursprünglich gekauft
wurde. In allen anderen Fällen kommen die örtlichen Garantiebestimmungen zur
Anwendung. Sollten Sie im Ausland eine Garantieleistung für Ihr Panasonic GSM­Telefon beanspruchen, kontaktieren Sie bitte das unter dem jeweiligen Land

Garantieleistungen

Die Garantiefrist der europaweiten GSM-Garantie beträgt normalerweise 12
Monate für das Hauptgerät und 3 Monate für den wieder aufladbaren Akku. Wenn
das Gerät in einem anderen Land als dem ursprünglichen Verkaufsland verwendet
wird, hat der Kunde, ungeachtet der unten aufgeführten Bestimmungen, in jenem
Land Anspruch auf die Garantiefrist von 12 bzw. 3 Monaten, falls diese
vorteilhafter ist als die Bestimmungen des Landes, in dem das Gerät verwendet
wird.

Garantiebedingungen

Wenn eine Garantieleistung in Anspruch genommen wird, hat der Kunde die
vorliegende Garantiekarte zusammen mit dem datierten Kaufbeleg einem
autorisierten Service-Center vorzulegen.

Unter diese Garantie fallen Mängel, die auf Herstellungs- oder Konstruktionsfehler

EU/EWR-Garantie: Gültige Bedingungen für andere Länder als für das ursprüngliche
Verkaufsland

Sollte der Käufer ein schadhaftes Gerät erhalten, so ist er aufgefordert, mit der
entsprechenden Verkaufsgesellschaft oder der auf Landesebene zuständigen Vertretung
in dem EU/EWR-Land, in dem diese Garantie in Anspruch genommen wird, Kontakt
aufzunehmen und diese Garantie zusammen mit einem datierten Verkaufsbeleg
vorzulegen. Die entsprechenden Angaben können dem „Product Service Guide“
entnommen oder bei einem autorisierten Händler erfragt werden. Der Käufer wird
daraufhin informiert, ob:

(i) die Verkaufsgesellschaft oder die auf Landesebene zuständige Vertretung die
Reparaturleistung erbringt, oder

(ii) die Verkaufsgesellschaft oder die auf Landesebene zuständige Vertretung die
Versendung des Gerätes in das EU/EWR-Land, in dem das Gerät ursprünglich verkauft
wurde, übernimmt, oder

(iii) der Käufer selbst das Gerät zu der Verkaufsgesellschaft oder der auf Landesebene
zuständigen Vertretung in das EU/EWR-Land sendet, in dem das Gerät ursprünglich
verkauft wurde.

Sollte es sich bei dem Gerät um ein Produktmodell handeln, das üblicherweise von der
Verkaufsgesellschaft oder der auf Landesebene zuständigen Vertretung in dem Land der
Verwendung geliefert wird, dann sollte das Gerät mit der vorliegenden Garantiekarte und
dem Nachweis des Kaufdatums auf Risiko und auf Kosten des Käufers an diese
Verkaufsgesellschaft oder an diese Vertretung, die dann die Reparaturleistungen
übernimmt, gesandt werden. In einigen Ländern wird die zuständige verbundene
Verkaufsgesellschaft oder die auf Landesebene zuständige Vertretung Händler oder
autorisierte Servicestellen benennen, die die Reparaturen ausführen.

Sollte es sich bei dem Gerät um ein Produktmodell handeln, das normalerweise nicht in
dem Verwendungsland verkauft wird, oder sollten die inneren oder äußeren technischen
Daten des Gerätes sich von denen des im Verwendungsland üblichen Modells
unterscheiden, so ist die Verkaufsgesellschaft oder die auf Landesebene zuständige
Vertretung u. U. in der Lage, die Garantiereparaturleistung mit Ersatzteilen aus dem
ursprünglichen Verkaufsland des Gerätes durchzuführen. Es kann sich jedoch als
notwendig erweisen, die Garantiereparaturleistung durch die Verkaufsgesellschaft oder
die auf Landesebene zuständige Vertretung im ursprünglichen Verkaufsland durchführen
zu lassen.

In beiden Fällen muss der Käufer die vorliegende Garantiekarte und den Nachweis des
Kaufdatums erbringen. Der notwendige Transport sowohl des Gerätes als auch seiner
Ersatzteile wird auf Risiko und auf Kosten des Käufers durchgeführt. Infolgedessen kann
es zu einer Verzögerung der Reparaturleistungen kommen.

In Fällen, in denen der Verbraucher das Gerät zur Reparatur zur Verkaufsgesellschaft
bzw. zur auf Landesebene zuständigen Vertretung im Verwendungsland des Gerätes
sendet, werden die Leistungen zu den Bedingungen (einschließlich der Garantiefrist)
erbracht, die für dasselbe Modell des Gerätes im Verwendungsland gültig sind, nicht zu
den Bedingungen im EU/EWR-Land, in dem das Gerät ursprünglich gekauft wurde. In
Fällen, in denen der Verbraucher das Gerät zur Reparatur zu der Verkaufsgesellschaft
bzw. zur auf Landesebene zuständigen Vertretung in das EU/EWR-Land verschickt, in
dem das Gerät ursprünglich gekauft wurde, werden die Reparaturleistungen zu den dort
gültigen Bedingungen erbracht.

Einige Produktmodelle bedürfen für eine betriebsgerechte Leistung oder für einen
sicheren Gebrauch in anderen EU/EWR-Ländern einer Anpassung in Übereinstimmung
mit obligatorischen oder empfohlenen Bestimmungen bzgl. Betriebsspannung,
Betriebssicherheit oder technischen Normen. Für bestimmte Produkte können die Kosten
einer solchen Anpassung erheblich sein. Es mag sich auch als schwierig erweisen, den
Bestimmungen bzgl. Betriebsspannung, Betriebssicherheit oder technischen Normen
Genüge zu leisten. Es wird dem Käufer nachdrücklich empfohlen, sich hinsichtlich dieser
örtlichen technischen und sicherheitsbezogenen Faktoren zu erkundigen, bevor er das
Gerät in einem anderen EU/EWR-Land verwendet.

Diese Garantie deckt nicht die Kosten einer Anpassung an örtliche Vorschriften bzgl.
Betriebsspannung, Betriebssicherheit oder anderen technischen Normen. Die
Verkaufsgesellschaft bzw. die auf Landesebene zuständige Vertretung ist u. U. in der
Lage, für bestimmte Produktmodelle die notwendigen Anpassungen auf Kosten des
Käufers durchzuführen. Es ist jedoch aus technischen Gründen nicht möglich, alle
Produktmodelle an örtliche Bestimmungen bzgl. Betriebsspannung, Betriebssicherheit
oder andere technische Normen anzupassen. Darüber hinaus ist nicht auszuschließen,
dass Anpassungen die Leistungen des Gerätes beeinträchtigen.

Wenn der Käufer nach Ansicht der Verkaufsgesellschaft bzw. der auf Landesebene
zuständigen Vertretung in dem Land, in dem das Gerät verwendet wird, die Anpassung
an örtliche Vorschriften bzgl. Betriebsspannung, Betriebssicherheit und andere
technische Normen ordnungsgemäß durchgeführt hat, so wird jede nachfolgende
Garantiereparaturleistung zu obigen Bedingungen ausgeführt. Voraussetzung ist jedoch,
dass der Käufer die Art der Anpassung klarstellt, sofern sie für die Reparatur relevant ist.
(Der Verkäufer sollte ein angepasstes Gerät nicht zur Reparatur an die
Verkaufsgesellschaft oder die auf Landesebene zuständige Vertretung im Land des
ursprünglichen Verkaufs zurücksenden, falls die Reparatur im Zusammenhang mit der
Anpassung steht.)

Diese Garantie ist nur gültig in Gebieten, die zur Europäischen Union (EU) bzw. zum
Europäischen Wirtschaftsraum (EWR) gehören.

QUESTO TELEFONO PANASONIC (MODELLO EB-X300) SODDISFA I
REQUISITI UE RELATIVI ALL’ESPOSIZIONE ALLE ONDE RADIO.

Il Vostro telefono cellulare è un trasmettitore e un ricevitore radio. È stato
progettato e costruito in modo da non superare i limiti di esposizione alle
radiofrequenze (RF) raccomandate dal Consiglio dell’Unione europea. Questi limiti
fanno parte delle direttive generali e stabiliscono i livelli consentiti di energia RF
per la popolazione. Le direttive, elaborate da organizzazioni scientifiche
indipendenti attraverso la valutazione periodica e scrupolosa delle ricerche
scientifiche, prevedono un sostanziale margine di sicurezza volto ad assicurare la
sicurezza di tutte le persone, indipendentemente dall’età e dallo stato di salute.

Il livello standard di esposizione per i telefoni cellulari utilizza un’unità di misura
nota come Tasso di Assorbimento Specifico o SAR. Il limite del SAR raccomandato

Precauzioni e Manutenzione

La pressione dei tasti può produrre un segnale acustico
molto forte. Non tenere il telefono vicino all’orecchio mentre
si premono i tasti.

Le temperature estreme possono influire temporaneamente
sul funzionamento del telefono. Questo è normale e non
indica un cattivo funzionamento dell’apparecchio. La qualità
del display si può deteriorare se si utilizza a lungo il telefono
a temperature superiori ai 40°C.

Non modificare o smontare l’apparecchio in quanto non
contiene parti che possono essere riparate dall’utente.

Non sottoporre l’apparecchio a vibrazioni o scosse
eccessive. Non far cadere la batteria.

Grazie per aver acquistato questo telefono cellulare digitale Panasonic. La
Garanzia del Servizio Europeo GSM Panasonic è valida solo quando si viaggia in
Paesi al di fuori del Paese di acquisto del prodotto. In tutti gli altri casi, è valida la
garanzia locale. Qualora il telefono cellulare digitale GSM Panasonic richieda
manutenzione all’estero, rivolgersi al centro servizio locale (cfr. sempre in questo
documento).

La garanzia

Il periodo di garanzia è di 12 mesi (escluse le batterie). Per quanto riguarda la
garanzia del telefono in un paese al di fuori del Paese di acquisto, malgrado quanto
riportato nelle condizioni che seguono, il cliente usufruirà, nel Paese d’uso del
telefono, del periodo di 12 mesi, qualora dette condizioni si rilevino più favorevoli
delle condizioni valide nel Paese d’uso.

Condizioni di garanzia

La richiesta di prestazione “IN GARANZIA” dovrà essere documentata
presentando, unitamente alla scheda di garanzia, anche un documento o prova
d’acquisto contemporaneamente al prodotto difettoso al centro di assistenza
autorizzato.

La garanzia si applica ai guasti dovuti a difetti di fabbricazione o progettazione; non
si applica ad altri casi quali danni accidentali, comunque causati, usura, incuria,
adattamento, modifica o riparazioni non autorizzati da Panasonic.

È concessa all’acquirente ai sensi di questa garanzia solamente la riparazione, o,
a nostra discrezione, la sostituzione, del prodotto, o di qualsiasi parte o parti
difettose dello stesso. Sono esclusi altri risarcimenti, compresi, ma non in via

Paese d’acquisto.

Non appena si riscontrino difetti nell’apparecchio, l’acquirente deve subito rivolgersi alla
filiale di vendita competente o al distributore nazionale del “Paese della UNIONE
EUROPEA/SPAZIO ECONOMICO EUROPEO” per il quale è valida la garanzia, come
indicato nella “Product Service Guide”, o al più vicino rivenditore autorizzato,
presentando, unitamente alla presente garanzia, anche un documento o prova
d’acquisto. L’acquirente verrà quindi informato se:

(i) la filiale di vendita o il distributore nazionale effettuerà la riparazione;
(ii) la filiale di vendita o il distributore nazionale provvederà all’inoltro dell’apparecchio nel

“Paese della UNIONE EUROPEA/SPAZIO ECONOMICO EUROPEO” d’acquisto
dell’apparecchio;

(iii) l’acquirente potrà spedire lui stesso l’apparecchio alla filiale di vendita o al distributore
nazionale nel “Paese della UNIONE EUROPEA/SPAZIO ECONOMICO EUROPEO”
d’acquisto dell’apparecchio.

Se l’apparecchio corrisponde ad un modello che è normalmente fornito dalla filiale di
vendita o dal distributore nazionale nel Paese in cui l’apparecchio è utilizzato,
l’acquirente, a suo rischio e a sue spese, dovrà inviare l’apparecchio, accludendo anche
il certificato di garanzia e la prova della data di acquisto, a tale filiale di vendita o
distributore, che effettuerà la riparazione. In alcuni Paesi, la filiale di vendita o il
distributore nazionale potrà indicare rivenditori o certi laboratori che eseguiranno le
riparazioni necessarie.

Se l’apparecchio corrisponde ad un modello che non è, di norma, fornito nel Paese dove
è utilizzato, o se le caratteristiche costruttive interne o esterne dell’apparecchio sono
diverse da quelle del modello fornito nel Paese dove è utilizzato, la filiale di vendita o il
distributore nazionale può essere in grado di far eseguire le riparazioni coperte dalla
garanzia, ordinando le parti di ricambio al Paese dove l’apparecchio è stato inizialmente
venduto. Altrimenti, può essere necessario far eseguire le riparazioni coperte dalla
garanzia dalla filiale di vendita o dal distributore nazionale nel paese in cui l’apparecchio
è stato inizialmente venduto.

Nell’uno o nell’altro caso, l’acquirente dovrà esibire il certificato di garanzia e la prova
della data di acquisto. Qualunque trasporto dell’apparecchio e delle parti di ricambio,
necessario, sarà effettuato a rischio e a spese dell’acquirente e potranno verificarsi ritardi
nell’ottenere la riparazione.

Se l’acquirente invia l’apparecchio per la riparazione alla filiale di vendita o al distributore
nazionale nel Paese dove l’apparecchio è utilizzato, la riparazione verrà eseguita nelle
stesse condizioni (compresa la durata del periodo di garanzia) in vigore per lo stesso
modello nel Paese dove l’apparecchio viene utilizzato e non nel “Paese della UNIONE
EUROPEA/SPAZIO ECONOMICO EUROPEO” dove è avvenuta la vendita. Se
l’acquirente invia l’apparecchio per la riparazione alla filiale di vendita o al distributore
nazionale nel “Paese della UNIONE EUROPEA/SPAZIO ECONOMICO EUROPEO” nel
quale l’apparecchio è stato inizialmente venduto, la riparazione verrà eseguita in base alle
condizioni in vigore nel “Paese della UNIONE EUROPEA/SPAZIO ECONOMICO
EUROPEO” dove è avvenuta la vendita.

Alcuni apparecchi necessitano di modifiche o adattamenti per un buon funzionamento e
per la sicurezza di uso quando vengono utilizzati in Paesi diversi della “UNIONE
EUROPEA/SPAZIO ECONOMICO EUROPEO”, a seconda del voltaggio e dei requisiti
tecnici o di sicurezza locali imposti o raccomandati dalle disposizioni applicabili. Per certi
modelli, le spese per tali modifiche o adattamenti possono essere considerevoli e può
essere complicato ottenere la conformità al voltaggio e ai requisiti tecnici o di sicurezza
locali. Si raccomanda vivamente all’acquirente di informarsi su tali requisiti tecnici e di
sicurezza locali, prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio in un altro “Paese della UNIONE
EUROPEA/SPAZIO ECONOMICO EUROPEO”.

La garanzia non copre le spese di qualsiasi tipo di modifica e adattamento necessari per
rendere l’apparecchio conforme al voltaggio e ai requisiti tecnici o di sicurezza locali. Su
certi modelli anche la filiale di vendita o il distributore nazionale può essere in grado di
eseguire le modifiche o gli adattamenti necessari, sempre a spese dell’acquirente.
Tuttavia, per ragioni tecniche non è possibile modificare o adattare qualunque modello
per renderlo conforme al voltaggio e ai requisiti tecnici o di sicurezza locale. Inoltre,
quando si eseguono adattamenti o modifiche, il buon funzionamento dell’apparecchio può
risentirne.

Se la filiale di vendita o il distributore nazionale nel Paese dove l’apparecchio è utilizzato
è del parere che le modifiche o gli adattamenti necessari per renderlo conforme al
voltaggio e ai requisiti tecnici o di sicurezza locali sono stati eseguiti in modo corretto, ogni
ulteriore riparazione coperta da garanzia sarà eseguita alle condizioni di cui sopra, purché
l’acquirente fornisca ogni indicazione sulla natura della modifica o dell’adattamento, utile
per la riparazione (si raccomanda che l’acquirente non invii per riparazioni alla filiale di
vendita o al distributore nazionale nel Paese dove l’apparecchio è stato inizialmente

Questa garanzia è valida solo nei territori soggetti alle leggi della “UNIONE EUROPEA/
