PREFACE

The Panasonic's WV-7110A Camera Housing is designed to be used for indoor applications. This hous­ing can easily be installed after the camera adjustment and installation had been completed.

PRECAUTIONS

• It is designed for indoor use. Avoid using it in the extreme environment where the rain falls directly, extremely high temperature and humidity gener­ate.
• Do not use the housing in the condition where the sunlight directly falls to the housing. It may increase interior temperature of the housing extremely high.
• Use a dry cloth to clean the housing if it is dirty. If the dirt is formidable, it is advisable to use a mild detergent and wipe gently.

2. Mounting of the Camera

2-1. Mount the camera mounting bracket or the pan/tilt
mechanism onto the mounting adaptor of the cam­era.
When the cameras and lenses shown below are installed into this housing, choose the suitable angle according to the following tables.

A.Mounting from top

1. Disassembling of camera housing

Remove the Front Case, Rear Cover and Upper/ Lower Covers as shown in the following.

a.Mounting of the Angle-A(supplied)
a-1. Remove the mounting adaptor of the camera by
removing the two mounting adaptor fixing screws.
Note: Use the supplied screws when fixing the Angle-
A or Angle-B. Using shorter ones may cause the camera to fall down, or longer ones may damage the inside of the camera.
a-2. Fix the Angle-A onto the camera by using the two
Angle Fixing Screws(supplied) as shown in the fol­lowing.

a-3. Be sure to stick the Angle Seat(supplied) onto the
Angle-A.
Caution: When the left and right pan limit screws
should be removed from the pan/tilt unit due to the Angle-A installation, use the Angle Seat as shown below.
b.Mounting of the Angle-B(supplied)
b-1. Remove the mounting adaptor of the camera by
removing the two mounting adaptor fixing screws.
b-2. Fix the Angle-B onto the camera by using the two
Angle Fixing Screws(supplied) as shown in the following.

b-3. Re-install the mounting adaptor on the Angle-B.
2-2. Complete the adjustment and connections
required for the camera operation.
2-3. Mount the camera mounting bracket or the pan/tilt
mechanism onto the mounting adaptor of the cam­era.

3. Installation of Upper and Lower Cover

3-1. Place the Upper Cover on the camera.
3-2. Attach the Lower Cover to the Upper Cover.
Note: Do not clamp the cable with this installation.

3-3. Attach the Front Case to the Upper and Lower
Covers.

4. Installation of Rear Cover

Attache the Rear Cover as shown in the following.
Note:
1. Be sure to insert the cable opening side to this housing first.
2. If the cable opening is too small due to the number of coaxial cable, enlarge the cable opening by cutting off the Rear Cover.

5 Cable Clamp

5-1. Attach the Cable Clamp (supplied) to the housing. 5-2. Clamp the cables with the cable clamp.

B.Mounting from bottom

The Upper and Lower Cover must be attached on the camera in reverse.

LENS FOCUS ADJUSTMENT

When the focus adjustment is required, remove the Front Case.
Note: When the WV-LZ61/10 or WV-LZ62/8 is
mounted on the camera, adjust the lens focus before mounting the upper cover, lower cover, and front case.
CAUTION:
The reflection of the power indicator on the front of camera may be displayed in the pic­ture. In this case, seal the LED by using the Power Indicator Masking Label on the LED.
