≥ Turn off all equipment before connection and read the appropriate

operating instructions.

≥ Connect the AC power supply cord after all other connections are

complete.

≥ Do not use the wireless system and digital transmitter in a metal cabinet

or bookshelf.

≥ Do not attempt to connect any extra surround speakers to the home

theater unit.

≥ Place the wireless system within approximately 15 m (47 ft) from the

home theater unit.

The wireless system will automatically seek a clear channel if any of
these other devices interfere with its communication.
When this happens, the wireless link indicator (“ [W1] ” or an indicator)
flashes on the home theater unit, and there is a brief interruption in
audio coming from the surround speakers.

This is the normal operation of the product working to assure the best
possible performance of your home theater unit.

If the interference persists, try moving the other devices to another
location outside the range of the wireless system, or move the wireless

system nearer to your home theater unit.

Conserving power

The wireless system consumes a small amount of power, even when it is
off (approx. 0.2 W). To save power when the unit is not to be used for a
long time, unplug it from the household AC outlet.

Use only the SH-TR70 digital transmitter.

Wireless system is originally paired to work with the SH-TR70
digital transmitter that comes along with it. For any other
accessories to work with the SH-TR70 digital transmitter in use,
pairing is necessary.

By using 2 sets of SH-FX70, you can enjoy 7.1-channel playback, making
the surround speakers and surround back speakers wireless (B 7).

≥ Keep the digital transmitter of the additional wireless system for later

use.

Preparation

≥ Make sure to connect the AC power supply cord of the additional

wireless system.

≥ Turn on the home theater unit and reduce the volume.

1 Turn on the additional wireless system.
2 While pressing the skip and slow-search button (e.g. [5/9]) on

the home theater unit, press the numbered button [3] on the remote
control until “P” lights in the home theater unit’s display.

3 While “P” is displayed, press

[I/D SET] on the rear of the
additional wireless system.
≥ The indicator on the additional

system turns green.

≥ If “P” goes off before you press

[I/D SET], repeat step 2 and
then continue the procedure.

4 While pressing [5/9] on the home theater unit, press the

numbered button [3] on the remote control.

5 Turn off and on the additional wireless system.

≥ Make sure the indicator on the additional wireless system lights up

green.

[Note]

≥ If you should change the digital transmitter, repeat the pairing steps for

both units of the wireless system, one unit at a time.

≥ You cannot use the wireless system with SH-FX65T or SH-FX67T

digital transmitter.

Maintenance

1 Damag e requiring service—The unit should be serviced by qualified

service personnel if:
(a) The AC power supply cord or AC adaptor has been damaged; or
(b) Objects or liquids have gotten into the unit; or
(c) The unit has been exposed to rain; or
(d) The unit does not operate normally or exhibits a marked change in

performance; or

(e) The unit has been dropped or the cabinet damaged.

2 Servicing—Do not attempt to service the unit beyond that described in

these operating instructions. Refer all other servicing to authorized
servicing personnel.

3 Replacement parts—When parts need replacing ensure the servicer

uses parts specified by the manufacturer or parts that have the same
characteristics as the original parts. Unauthorized substitutes may
result in fire, electric shock, or other hazards.

4 Safety check—After repairs or service, ask the servicer to perform

safety checks to confirm that the unit is in proper working condition.

The servicer will require all components to service your system.
Therefore, should service ever be necessary, be sure to bring the entire
system.

This warranty ONLY COVERS failures due to defects in materials or workmanship,
and DOES NOT COVER normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage. The warranty

are caused by products not supplied by the warrantor, or failures which result from
accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, faulty

Le système sans fil recherchera automatiquement un canal offrant une
réception claire dans l’éventualité où d’autres appareils créeraient de
l’interférence. Dans un tel cas, l’indicateur de liaison sans fil (“ [W1] ” ou
un voyant à diode) clignote sur l’appareil principal de la chaîne cinéma
maison; de plus, la reproduction du signal sur les enceintes
ambiophoniques est momentanément interrompue.

Ce phénomène, tout à fait normal, vise à assurer un r endement opt imal
de la part de votre chaîne cinéma maison.

Si l’interférence devait persister, éloigner les appareils à une distance
appropriée ou installer le système sans fil plus près de la chaîne cinéma

Utiliser uniquement l’émetteur numérique SH-TR70.

À l’origine, le système sans fil est utilisé de pair avec l’émetteur
numérieur SH-TR70. Pour que tout autre accessoire fonctionne
avec l’émetteur numérique SH-TR70 en cours d’utilisation, le
couplage est requis.

≥ S’assurer que le cordon d’alimentation du système sans fil additionnel

est branché.

≥ Mettre la chaîne cinéma maison en marche et baisser le volume.

1 Mettre le système sans fil additionnel en marche.
2 Tout en maintenant enfoncée la touche de saut et de recherche au

ralenti (ex. [5/9] ) du récepteur cinéma maison, presser la
touche numérique [3] de la télécommande jusqu’à ce qu e l’indi catio n
“P” s’affiche à l’écran du récepteur cinéma maison.

3 Pendant que “P” est affiché,

appuyer sur [I/D SET] sur le
panneau arrière du système
sans fil additionnel.

couplage pour les deux appareils du système sans fil, un appareil à la
fois.

≥ Il n’est pas possible d’utiliser le système sans fil avec l’émetteur

numérique SH-FX65T ou SH-FX67T.

1 En cas de dommage—Confier l’appareil à un technicien qualifié dans

les cas suivants:
(a) lorsque le cordon d’alimentation ou l’adaptateur secteur a été

endommagé;
lorsqu’un objet est tombé dans l’appareil ou si ce dernier a été mouillé;

(b)
(c) lorsque l’appareil a été exposé à la pluie;
(d) lorsque l’appareil semble ne pas fonctionner normalement ou que

son rendement laisse à désirer;

(e) lorsque l’appareil a subi un choc violent ou que son coffret a été

endommagé.

2 Réparation—Ne faire aucun réglage ni ajustement autres que ceux

décrits dans le présent manuel. Confier toute rép aration à un centre de
service Panasonic agréé.

3 Pièces de rechange—

rechange recommandées par le fabricant ou dont les caractéristiques
sont les mêmes. L’utilisation de pièces de rechange non autorisées peut
