1 User manual
1.1 General instructions
WARNING
Only use Infotainment in such a way that you have control of the vehicle in every traffic situation (e.g. do not write text messages while driving, do not link or connect the telephone, do not work with the contact list, do not enter any destinations, do not connect WLAN or SmartLink etc.) – Otherwise there is a risk of an accident!
Always route the connection cable of the external device such that is does not restrict you when driving.
Adjust the volume to ensure that acoustic signals from outside the vehicle, e.g. the police, ambulances and fire engines, can be heard at all times.
High volumes can cause hearing damage. Caution
In some countries, some Infotainment functions can no longer be selected when the vehicle is running faster than a certain speed. This is not a malfunction, but complies with the national legal regulations.
Never open the MIB3 yourself in the event of a fault! Take the device to a Panasonic service center to ensure professional support.
■ If MIB3 becomes too hot, the device will switch off automatically.
1.2 Technical information
The product MIB3 is developed and produced by Panasonic Automotive Systems Europe GmbH. The product is an integrated car entertainment systems. The MIB3 entrée series can support (depends of bought configuration) several sources like MP3, USB (external connection box), Bluetooth®, Wifi, AM/FM radio, DAB, HD-radio, android auto, Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink®.
1.3 Introduction to operation
The MIB3 allows baisc controls via two control dials.
1. Left control dial to switch the unit on and
off.
2. Right control dial to browse through menues (turning) and select options (by pressing).
The main display shows multiple buttons to ensure best customer experiences. Pages can be switched by using the touch screen (touch gently the screen with your finger and move finger left or right).

1.4 Radio
Selecting the Radio via the Radio button leads to the following screen:
Please not that the MIB3 enterntainment system is only fully functional in the car. Hence, the options like FM Band, Station list etc. can be selected but might not show e.g. real radio stations.
1.5 Telephone and SmartLink
The buttons Telephone and SmartLink allow to interact with Smartphones in multiple ways e.g. Bluetooth® or USB connection and other certified interfaces like google andoid, AppleCarplay or MirrorLink®.

1.6 Vehicle
The button
vehical button allwos you to enter multiple screens e.g.
Driving-school mode, Green Score, Vehicle status,
And vehicle tire pressure status. All screens can be selected via pressing Selection or arrows on screen.
1.7 Media
The
button Media allows to detect external via Bluetooth® or USB Sticks.
1.8 Driver assist.
The button Driver assist. enables customer to switch on and off different systems which supports cutomers like Blind Spot Monitoring.

1.9 Sound
The button Sound enables users to change e.g. music by different options like Bass
or Volume.
1.10 Settings
The button Settings allows users to change multiple settings of the device like Time and date, language, Units and give further information about the system.
1.11 Legal
The button Legal proides customer in electronical way fast links for further legal information.
