1. Symptom: Dead, no output from power supply.

Cause: Fuse F1001 O/C

Remedy: Check and replace if necessary IC1001, R1019, R1020, R1021, R1022 & F1001.

2. Symptom: Dead, no output from power supply.

Cause: Failure of power supply to start up.

Remedy: Replace IC1001 and D1003

3. Symptom: No control of VCR functions when using front panel controls.

Cause: Front operation panel lockup.

Remedy: Switch off unit at the mains supply. Switch unit back ON whilst trying to

load a tape. If a tape is already jammed this will require removal first.
