This ProducT is for household use only

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed, including the following:

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE

• Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.

• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces, including the stove.

• Never leave appliance unattended when in use.

• Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands and utensils out of jar while blending to prevent personal injury or damage to the Blender. A rubber spatula may be used only when the blender is not running.

• To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or motor base in water or any other liquids.

• The Blade is sharp. Handle with care.

• Always put the Lid on the Jar before operating the Blender, and rest hand on the jar lid when starting and running motor.

• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Take the appliance to the nearest Authorized Service Center for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment. Do not attempt to replace or splice a damaged cord. This appliance has important markings on the plug blade. The attachment plug or entire cordset (if plug is molded onto cord) is not suitable for replacement. If damaged, the appliance shall be replaced.

• Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes; this appliance is intended for household use only.

• Use this appliance for its intended use as described in this manual.

• Always operate on a flat surface.

• Unplug the Blender when it is not in use, before taking off or putting on parts and before cleaning.

• The use of attachments not made by the manufacturer including canning or ordinary jar and processing assembly parts is not recommended, and may cause injury to persons.

• To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutter-assembly blades on base without jar properly attached.

• Do not operate blender continuously for more than 3 minutes.

• This appliance is not to be used by children or by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities.

• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. Children should not play with the appliance.

• Do not put very cold liquids or ice into a blender jar that has come directly after making a hot recipe.

• This product is not intended for blending hot liquids.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

The maximum rating marked on the product is based on the attachment that draws the greatest load. Other attachments may draw less power.

POLARIZED PLUG

This appliance has a polarized plug, (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit

in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature or modify the plug in any way. If the plug fits loosely into the AC outlet or if the AC outlet feels warm do not use that outlet.

Description of the Appliance

1. Feeder Cap for adding ingredients while blending

4. Threaded Bottom Cap with Ice Crush Blade pulverizes ice for smooth frozen drinks

7. Off button

8. Low & High speed switch

9. 8 Speed buttons (including Pulse)

1. Turn Jar upside down so the small opening is at the top. Place Threaded Bottom Cap on Jar and turn it clockwise to tighten.

2. Place Jar assembly onto base.

Selecting The Speed

Slide switch to High or Low. Push desired speed and blend ingredients to desired consistency.

CAUTION: Do not operate blender continuously for more than 3 minutes. Push off button “O” to stop the Blender and turn Blender off.

Using the Pulse Function “ ”

To use pulse, select the low setting on the switch. Push the Pulse Button “ ” (speed 4) and hold down for desired length of time. Release the Pulse button “ ” and allow Blade to stop. Repeat cycle as desired.

Tip: Refer to the “Guide For Processing Foods in Blender” located on page 5 for information on processing foods.

Using the Ice Crush Function “ ”

To use Ice Crush, select the high setting on the switch. Push the Ice Crush Button “ ” (speed 8) and hold down for desired lenght of time. Release the Ice Crush Button “ ” and allow Blade to stop. Repeat cycle as desired.
