• Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch electrical parts involving a risk of electric shock.

• When broiling, use extreme caution when removing tray or disposing of hot grease or other hot liquids.

• To turn this appliance off, return all controls to the “OFF” position.

Short Power Supply Cord Instructions

A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord may be used if care is exercised in its use. If an extension cord is used, the electrical rating of the cord must be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. The extension cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tapletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.

LEARNING ABOUT YOUR TOASTER OVEN

• Power Indicator Lamp – Red lamp indicates the oven is heating and

cooking food.

• Digital Control Panel

- LCD Display

- Convection Fan Icon – Indicates that the convection fan is on and

circulating air allowing the food to cook evenly and faster.

- Temperature Display – Indicates the set cooking temperature of the oven.

- Toast Color Setting – Indicates light toasting (1) to dark toasting (7) for both

Toast and Bagel settings.

- Time Display – Indicates the set cooking temperature of the oven.

- Function Buttons – Choose between Bake, Convection Bake,

Broil, Toast, Bagel, Pizza, Defrost and Dehydrate. Box will appear around the selection.

- Temperature Buttons – Press the arrow buttons to increase or decrease the

length of the timer or to increase the toast time.

- Color/Time Buttons - Press the arrow buttons to increase or decrease the

oven temperature.

- Clock Set Button – Press this button to enable the clock setting function.

Use the Time Select Buttons to increase or decrease the time.

- Start Button – Press this button to start the cooking process. The button

will illuminate.

- Stop/Cancel Button – Press this button the stop the cooking process.

• Tempered Glass Door – Allows you to see the food cooking.

• Non-Stick Interior Walls – Prevents food from sticking and for easy cleaning.

• Baking Pan and Broiling Tray – Makes all of your baking and broiling

needs easy.

• Three Rack Positions – To accommodate a wide variety of foods from pizza

to tall roasts.

• Removable/Reversible Wire Rack – To accommodate multiple foods and

sizes.

• Removable Crumb Tray – Allows for easy cleaning of crumbs and fallen

food particles.

• Pizza Fit Feature – Unit is designed with an extra large cavity to easily

accommodate oversized items such as pizza.

PREPARING YOUR TOASTER OVEN

If you are using your toaster oven for the first time, please:

• Remove any stickers from the surface of the oven.

• Open oven door and remove all printed documents and paper from inside the toaster oven.

• Clean the racks, tray, and pan with hot water, a small amount of dishwashing liquid and a nonabrasive sponge or cleaning pad. DO NOT IMMERSE THE BODY OF THE UNIT IN WATER.

• Dry the unit thoroughly before using.

• Select a location for the toaster oven. The location should be in an open area on a flat counter where the plug will reach an outlet.

• Plug the toaster oven into an electrical outlet.

USING YOUR TOASTER OVEN

Plug the unit in. The unit will emit one long “beep”. The default time of 12:00 AM will appear on the LCD and the default setting of “Select Function” will be outlined with a box. The LCD will be illuminated for 30 seconds and then go out if no other buttons are pressed.

Please note: once the blue LCD display goes out – you can press any button to “wake up” the display and operate as normal.

Select Function Buttons

Press the Function Buttons ( or ) to choose one of the following 8 options from the menu: Bake, Convection Bake, Broil, Toast, Bagel, Pizza, Defrost and Dehydrate. The light will illuminate and the box outline will move to the desired setting with each button press. (Step 1) Note: If the cooking process is not started or no further button presses occur within 30 seconds the oven will reset to the default setting and the blue backlight will turn off.

Temperature: Press and hold the ( or ) buttons to increase or decrease the temperature setting. The digits will advance slowly, in 25 degree increments at first then speed up after 5 seconds. The maximum temperature that can be set is 450 degrees F. (Step 2)

Time: Press and hold the ( or ) buttons to increase or decrease the cooking time. The digits will advance slowly at first then speed up after 5 seconds. The maximum time setting is 2 hours for Baking and up to 14 hours for the Dehydr

Start Button

Press this button to begin cooking. The button will illuminate in blue, the red Power Indicator Lamp will illuminate and the interior light will turn on. At the end of the cooking cycle the audible beep will sound for 2 seconds. The blue Start Buttons will turn off, the red Power Indicator lamp will turn off, the interior light will turn off and the time will show 0:00 on the display. The blue LCD will turn off after 30 seconds (Figure1) after selecting function,

temperature and time. If blue light is out, it won’t start.

Stop Button

Press the Stop button to cancel cooking cycle. The blue Start Buttons will turn off, the red Power Indicator lamp will turn off, the interior light will turn off and the time will show 0:00 on the display. The blue LCD will turn off after 30 seconds. (Figure2)

Using the Bake Function

When you select the Bake function (Step 1) you will be able to cook as a standard oven and without the use of the convection fan. Both upper and lower heating elements will heat.

The default temperature setting will be 350 degrees F. The default time will be 0:30 minutes.

To set the time: Press and hold the ( or ) buttons to increase or decrease the cooking time. The digits will advance slowly at first then speed up after 5 seconds. The maximum time setting for Bake is 2 hours. (Step 2)

Temperature: Press and hold the ( or ) buttons to increase or decrease the temperature setting. The digits will advance slowly, in 25 degree increments at first then speed up after 5 seconds. The temperature that can be set for Bake is from 150 to 450 degrees F. (Step 3)

Press Start – The Start button illuminates, the red Power Indicator lamp illuminates and the interior light will turn on. The unit begins to work and the timer begins to countdown the remaining time. The blue

backlight for the LCD display will go off after 30 seconds. (Step 4) When the Baking cycle is complete the unit will “beep” for 2 seconds, the blue Start Buttons will turn off, the red Power Indicator lamp will turn off, the interior light will turn off and the time will show 0:00 on the display. The blue LCD will turn off after 30 seconds and the LCD display will reset to the default setting. Note: You can adjust the time or temperature at any time during the cooking cycle.

Using the Convection Bake Function

When you select the Convection Bake function (Step 1) the convection fan will turn on and circulate air allowing the food to cook evenly and faster.

The default temperature setting will be 350 degrees F. The default time will be 0:20 minutes.

To set the time: Press and hold the ( or ) buttons to increase or decrease the cooking time. The digits will advance slowly at first then speed up after 5 seconds and even faster after 5 more seconds. The maximum time setting for Convection Bake is 2 hours. (Step 2)

Temperature: Press and hold the ( or ) buttons to increase or decrease the temperature setting. The digits will advance slowly, in 25 degree increments at first then speed up after 5 seconds. The temperature that can be set for Convection Bake is from 150 to 450 degrees F. (Step 3)

will turn on. The unit begins to work and the timer begins to countdown the remaining time. The blue

backlight for the LCD display will go off after 30 seconds. (Step 4)

Using the Broil Function

When you select the Broil function (Step 1) the upper heating elements will heat. Close the door to the first

notch leaving approximately a 1 1/2 inch gap at the top.

The default temperature setting will be 350 degrees F.

The default time will be 0:15 minutes.

Using the Toast Function

When you select the Toast function (Step 1) the 1 – 7 color shade setting indicator will become visible on the LCD display. Both upper and lower heating elements will heat.

The default color setting will be 4. Use this setting for a golden brown toast color. Adjust for light toasting (1) to dark toasting (7).

The temperature or time is not adjustable.

To adjust the shade color: Press and hold the ( or ) buttons to increase or decrease the shade setting. The digits and shade setting will increase or decrease as the buttons are pressed. (Step 2)

turn off and the time will show 0:00 on the display. The blue LCD will turn off after 30 seconds and the LCD display will reset to the default setting.

Note: You can adjust the color shade at any time during the cooking cycle.

Using the Bagel Function

When you select the Toast function (Step 1) the 1 – 7 toast shade setting indicator will become visible on the LCD display. The upper heating elements only will heat. Place the cut sides of the Bagel upward.

The default color setting will be 4. Use this setting for a golden brown bagel color. Adjust for light toasting (1) to dark toasting (7).

The temperature or time is not adjustable.

To adjust the shade color: Press and hold the ( or ) buttons to increase or decrease the shade setting. The digits and shade setting will increase or decrease as the buttons are pressed. (Step 2)

Using the Pizza Function

When you select the Pizza function (Step 1) the convection fan will turn on and circulate air allowing the pizza to cook evenly and faster. Place the pizza directly on the cooking rack for best results.

The default temperature setting will be 450 degrees F. The default time will be 0:15 minutes.

Using the Defrost Function

When you select the Defrost function (Step 1) the convection fan will turn on and circulate air allowing the food to Defrost evenly and faster.

The default temperature setting will be 150 degrees F. The default time will be 1:00 hour.

Temperature: The only temperature that can be set for Defrost is 150 degrees F.

Press Start – The Start button illuminates, the red Power Indicator lamp illuminates and the interior light

will turn on. The unit begins to work and the timer begins to countdown the remaining time. The blue backlight for the LCD display will go off after 30 seconds. (Step 3)

Using the Dehydrate Function

When you select the Dehydrate function (Step 1) the convection fan will turn on and circulate air allowing the food to Dehydrate without cooking the food.

The default temperature setting will be 150 degrees F. The default time will be 14:00 hours.

Temperature: The only temperature that can be set for Dehydrate is 150 degrees F.

Setting the Clock

Press Set Clock button (Step 1) for 1 second to enable the clock setting function. The time display on the LCD will blink. Use the Time Select Buttons to increase or decrease the time.

POSITIONING RACKS

To accommodate a wide variety of foods the oven has 1 reversible rack and 3 rack positions. The racks can be inserted in the oven in the high position or low position. The racks will fit into the rack guides inside of the toaster oven. (See “Learning About Your Toaster Oven” on Page 4) Before removing the racks allow the unit to cool. To remove a rack, open the oven door and pull the rack towards

t rack downward to prevent top browning and upward to prevent bottom burning. For best toasting results, position the rack in the up position on the middle rack guide. When broiling, position the rack in the up position on the upper rack guide. To replace the rack in the oven, align rack in rack guide and slide toward the back of the oven.

Note: Heating elements may cycle ON and OFF to maintain the desired

temperature.

CLEANING YOUR TOASTER OVEN

Before cleaning your OSTER®Toaster Oven, unplug it and allow it to cool. To clean, wipe with damp cloth. DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER. Make sure to use only mild, soapy water. Abrasive cleaners, scrubbing brushes and chemical cleaners will damage the continuous clean coating on this unit. Empty crumb tray frequently to avoid accumulation of crumbs.

STORING YOUR TOASTER OVEN

Allow the appliance to cool completely before storing. If storing the toaster oven for long periods of time, make certain that the toaster oven is clean and free of food particles. Store the toaster oven in a dry location such as on a table or countertop or in a cupboard shelf. Wind the electrical cord around the cord storage brackets. Other than the recommended cleaning, no further user maintenance should be necessary.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

One-Year Limited Warranty

Sunbeam Products, Inc., doing business as Jarden Consumer Solutions, or if in Canada, Sunbeam Corporation (Canada) Limited (collectively “Sunbeam”) warrants that for a period of one year from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. Sunbeam, at its option, will repair or replace this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty.

This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. Sunbeam dealers, service centers, or retail stores selling Sunbeam products do not have the right to alter, modify or any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty.

This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than Sunbeam or an authorized Sunbeam service center. Further, the warranty does not cover: Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.

What Are the Limits on Sunbeam’s Liability?

Sunbeam shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any express, implied or statutory warranty or condition.

Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the above warranty.

Sunbeam disclaims all other warranties, conditions or representations, express, implied, statutory or otherwise.

Sunbeam shall not be liable for any damages of any kind resulting from the purchase, use or misuse of, or inability to use the product including incidental, special, consequential or similar damages or loss of profits, or for any breach of contract, fundamental or otherwise, or for any claim brought against purchaser by any other party.

Some provinces, states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from province to province, state to state or jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

PREPARACIÓN DEL HORNO TOSTADOR

Si utiliza el horno tostador por primera vez, siga estas instrucciones:

• Retire todas las etiquetas autoadhesivas de la superficie del horno.

• Abra la puerta del horno y retire de su interior todos los documentos

y papeles impresos.

• Limpie la rejilla, la bandeja y la asadera con agua caliente, usando una

pequeña cantidad de líquido detergente y una esponja no abrasiva o un paño de limpieza. NO SUMERJA EL CUERPO DE LA UNIDAD EN EL AGUA.

• Seque la unidad completamente antes de utilizarla.

• Elija un sitio para colocar el horno tostador. Este lugar debe ser un área

abierta sobre una superficie plana, cerca de una toma de corriente.

• Enchufe el horno tostador en una toma de corriente eléctrica.

CÓMO UTILIZAR EL HORNO

Enchufe el horno. El mismo emitirá una señal sonora larga. La hora inicial (12:00 AM) aparecerá en la pantalla de LCD y la configuración inicial de "Seleccionar función" (Select function) aparecerá dentro de un recuadro. La pantalla de LCD se encenderá durante 30 segundos y luego se apagará si no se presiona ningún botón.

Nota: Una vez que la pantalla de LCD azul se apague, usted puede presionar cualquier botón para "activarla" y operar el horno de manera normal.

Botones de selección de función (Select Function)

Presione los botones de funciones [icon] o [icon] para elegir una de las siguientes ocho opciones del menú: Hornear (Bake), hornear por convección (Convection Bake), asar (Broil), tostar (Toast), tostar roscas (Bagel), hornear pizza (Pizza), descongelar (Defrost) o deshidratar (Dehydrate). El botón de inicio de color azul, la lámpara indicadora de encendido y la lámpara interna se apagarán, y el tiempo de cocción en la pantalla mostrará 0:00. función, la temperatura y el tiempo de cocción. Si la luz azul está apagada, el horno no comenzará a funcionar.

Botón de detención (Stop)

Presione el botón de detención para cancelar el ciclo de cocción. El botón de inicio de color azul, la lámpara indicadora de encendido y la lámpara interna se apagarán, y el tiempo de cocción en la pantalla mostrará 0:00. La pantalla de LCD azul se

apagará al cabo de 30 segundos. (Figura 2)

Uso de la función de hornear (Bake)

Al seleccionar la función de hornear (Paso 1), usted podrá cocinar tal como con un horno convencional, sin usar el ventilador de convección. Los elementos calefactores superiores e inferiores se calentarán.

El ajuste de temperatura inicial es de 350 °F. El tiempo de cocción inicial es de 0:30 minutos.

Ajuste del tiempo: Mantenga presionados los botones [ o ] para aumentar o reducir el tiempo de cocción. Al principio, los dígitos avanzarán lentamente y, luego de 5 segundos, más rápidamente. El tiempo de cocción máximo para hornear es de 2 horas. (Paso 2)

La intensidad de tostado inicial es 4. Utilice este nivel para obtener una intensidad de tostado de la rosca marrón dorado. Ajuste la intensidad del tostado desde claro (1) hasta oscuro (7).

Al utilizar esta función, la temperatura y el tiempo de cocción no son configurables.
