When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use oven handles or knobs. Always use oven mitts when handling hot materials and allow metal parts to cool before cleaning. Allow the unit to cool thoroughly before putting in or taking off parts.
• When the unit is not in use and before cleaning, unplug the toaster oven from the wall outlet. NOTE: Make sure the oven is turned off before unplugging.
• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug or any parts of the oven in water or other liquids.
• Close supervision is necessary when this or any appliance is used near children. This appliance is not for use by children.
• Do not operate this or any appliance with a frayed or damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or has been damaged in any manner.
• Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer; they may cause fire, electric shock or personal injury.
• Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes.
• Do not use this appliance for other than its intended use.
• Do not let cord dangle over the edge of a tabletop or countertop or to touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven or in a microwave oven.
• Extreme caution should be used when using containers constructed of other than metal or glass.
• A fire may occur if the oven is covered or touching flammable materials, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation. Do not store any item on the top of the oven during operation.
• Do not store any materials, other than manufacturer’s recommended accessories, in this oven when not in use.
• Do not place any flammable materials in the oven, such as paper, cardboard, plastic or any materials that may catch fire or melt.
• Do not cover the oven with metal foil. This will cause overheating of the appliance.
• Oversized foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in the appliance, as they may create a fire or risk of electric shock.
• Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch electrical parts involving a risk of electric shock.
• When broiling, use extreme caution when removing tray or disposing of hot grease or other hot liquids.
• To turn this appliance off, return all controls to the “OFF” position.

To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. Short Power Supply Cord Instructions
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord may be used if care is exercised in its use. If an extension cord is used, the electrical rating of the cord must be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. The extension cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tapletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.

LEARNING ABOUT YOUR TOASTER OVEN
• Power Indicator Lamp – Red lamp indicates the oven is heating and
cooking food.
• Digital Control Panel
- LCD Display
- Convection Fan Icon – Indicates that the convection fan is on and
circulating air allowing the food to cook evenly and faster.
- Temperature Display – Indicates the set cooking temperature of the oven.
- Toast Color Setting – Indicates light toasting (1) to dark toasting (7) for both
Toast and Bagel settings.
- Time Display – Indicates the set cooking temperature of the oven.
- Function Buttons – Choose between Bake, Convection Bake,
Broil, Toast, Bagel, Pizza, Defrost and Dehydrate. Box will appear around the selection.
- Temperature Buttons – Press the arrow buttons to increase or decrease the
length of the timer or to increase the toast time.
- Color/Time Buttons - Press the arrow buttons to increase or decrease the
oven temperature.
- Clock Set Button – Press this button to enable the clock setting function.
Use the Time Select Buttons to increase or decrease the time.
- Start Button – Press this button to start the cooking process. The button
will illuminate.
- Stop/Cancel Button – Press this button the stop the cooking process.
• Tempered Glass Door – Allows you to see the food cooking.
• Non-Stick Interior Walls – Prevents food from sticking and for easy cleaning.
• Baking Pan and Broiling Tray – Makes all of your baking and broiling
needs easy.
• Three Rack Positions – To accommodate a wide variety of foods from pizza
to tall roasts.
• Removable/Reversible Wire Rack – To accommodate multiple foods and
sizes.
• Removable Crumb Tray – Allows for easy cleaning of crumbs and fallen
food particles.
• Pizza Fit Feature – Unit is designed with an extra large cavity to easily
accommodate oversized items such as pizza.

PREPARING YOUR TOASTER OVEN
If you are using your toaster oven for the first time, please:
• Remove any stickers from the surface of the oven.
• Open oven door and remove all printed documents and paper from inside the toaster oven.
• Clean the racks, tray, and pan with hot water, a small amount of dishwashing liquid and a nonabrasive sponge or cleaning pad. DO NOT IMMERSE THE BODY OF THE UNIT IN WATER.
• Dry the unit thoroughly before using.
• Select a location for the toaster oven. The location should be in an open area on a flat counter where the plug will reach an outlet.
• Plug the toaster oven into an electrical outlet.
USING YOUR TOASTER OVEN
Plug the unit in. The unit will emit one long “beep”. The default time of 12:00 AM will appear on the LCD and the default setting of “Select Function” will be outlined with a box. The LCD will be illuminated for 30 seconds and then go out if no other buttons are pressed.
Please note: once the blue LCD display goes out – you can press any button to “wake up” the display and operate as normal.
Select Function Buttons
Press the Function Buttons ( or ) to choose one of the following 8 options from the menu: Bake, Convection Bake, Broil, Toast, Bagel, Pizza, Defrost and Dehydrate. The light will illuminate and the box outline will move to the desired setting with each button press. (Step 1) Note: If the cooking process is not started or no further button presses occur within 30 seconds the oven will reset to the default setting and the blue backlight will turn off.
Temperature: Press and hold the ( or ) buttons to increase or decrease the temperature setting. The digits will advance slowly, in 25 degree increments at first then speed up after 5 seconds. The maximum temperature that can be set is 450 degrees F. (Step 2)
Time: Press and hold the ( or ) buttons to increase or decrease the cooking time. The digits will advance slowly at first then speed up after 5 seconds. The maximum time setting is 2 hours for Baking and up to 14 hours for the Dehydr

Start Button
Press this button to begin cooking. The button will illuminate in blue, the red Power Indicator Lamp will illuminate and the interior light will turn on. At the end of the cooking cycle the audible beep will sound for 2 seconds. The blue Start Buttons will turn off, the red Power Indicator lamp will turn off, the interior light will turn off and the time will show 0:00 on the display. The blue LCD will turn off after 30 seconds (Figure1) after selecting function,

temperature and time. If blue light is out, it won’t start.
Stop Button
Press the Stop button to cancel cooking cycle. The blue Start Buttons will turn off, the red Power Indicator lamp will turn off, the interior light will turn off and the time will show 0:00 on the display. The blue LCD will turn off after 30 seconds. (Figure2)

Using the Bake Function
When you select the Bake function (Step 1) you will be able to cook as a standard oven and without the use of the convection fan. Both upper and lower heating elements will heat.
The default temperature setting will be 350 degrees F. The default time will be 0:30 minutes.
To set the time: Press and hold the ( or ) buttons to increase or decrease the cooking time. The digits will advance slowly at first then speed up after 5 seconds. The maximum time setting for Bake is 2 hours. (Step 2)
Temperature: Press and hold the ( or ) buttons to increase or decrease the temperature setting. The digits will advance slowly, in 25 degree increments at first then speed up after 5 seconds. The temperature that can be set for Bake is from 150 to 450 degrees F. (Step 3)

(Step 4) When the Baking cycle is complete the unit will “beep” for 2 seconds, the blue Start Buttons will turn off, the red Power Indicator lamp will turn off, the interior light will turn off and the time will show 0:00 on the display. The blue LCD will turn off after 30 seconds and the LCD display will reset to the default setting. Note: You can adjust the time or temperature at any time during the cooking cycle.
Using the Convection Bake Function
When you select the Convection Bake function (Step 1) the convection fan will turn on and circulate air allowing the food to cook evenly and faster.
The default temperature setting will be 350 degrees F. The default time will be 0:20 minutes.
To set the time: Press and hold the ( or ) buttons to increase or decrease the cooking time. The digits will advance slowly at first then speed up after 5 seconds and even faster after 5 more seconds. The maximum time setting for Convection Bake is 2 hours. (Step 2)
Temperature: Press and hold the ( or ) buttons to increase or decrease the temperature setting. The digits will advance slowly, in 25 degree increments at first then speed up after 5 seconds. The temperature that can be set for Convection Bake is from 150 to 450 degrees F. (Step 3)

Using the Broil Function
When you select the Broil function (Step 1) the upper heating elements will heat. Close the door to the first

notch leaving approximately a 1 1/2 inch gap at the top.
The default temperature setting will be 350 degrees F.
