When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always
be followed, including the following:

• READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.

• To protect against electric shock, do not put Ice Crusher in water
or any other liquid.

• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by
or near children.

• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool
before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

• Avoid contact with moving parts. Never place fingers or utensils
into feed or discharge areas.

• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after
the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
Return appliance to an Authorized Service Facility for examination,
repairs, or electrical or mechanical adjustment.

• The use of accessory attachments not recommended or sold
by the Manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

• Do not use outdoors.

• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hotsurfaces.

• Check Ice Hopper for presence of foreign objects before using.

• Do not leave Ice Crusher unattended while it is operating.

To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this appliance has a polarized plug
(one blade iswiderthan the other). This plug fits a polarized outlet only one way;
if the plug does not fitfully into the outlet, reverse the plug. Ifitstill does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

TO OPERATE

1. Turn switch off. With unit resting securely on tray, plug into any

standard outlet.

2. Select size of crushed ice by pressing selector knob in and turning

to C (coarse) of F (fine). Turn unit on.

3. Raise ice cube door, place cube on shelf (as shown in Figure A)

and close door.

OTE

: Place hand on closed door to prevent the possibility of ice chips

being ejected from the unit.

This unit may be continuously operated to process up to 3 trays of
ice cubes. When approximately half way done, turn switch off and lift
unit from tray. Turn tray, replace unit facing opposite end of tray
and continue crushing. If more crushed ice is desired, empty tray
and continue crushing. Tray with crushed ice may be placed in freezer
for short-term storage.

4. After using, unplug unit and remove from tray. Place unit flat on towel

to dry. DO NOT immerse in water. DO NOT wash any parts in
automatic dishwasher.

1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Sunbeam Products Inc. warrants to the original purchaser, subject to the limitations and exclusions
set forth below, that this product shall be free, in all material respects, of mechanical and electrical
defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase for one year. This warranty does not
cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use or misuse
of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to operating instructions or
disassembly, repair or alteration by any person other than an authorized service center.

Our obligation hereunder is limited to repair or replacement, at manufacturer’s option, of the

Lors de l’utilisation d’appareils électriques, toujours prendre les précautions

Pour réduire le risque de choc électrique, cet appareil est doté d’une fiche polarisée
(une broche est plus large que l’autre). Cette fiche ne va que dans un sens seulement

sur une
prise de courant polarisée. Si la fiche ne s’enfonce pas complètement dans la prise, la
retourne et essayer de nouveau. Si elle ne s’adapte toujours pas à fond, consulter un
électricien qualifié. Veillez à respecter les mesures de securité de la prise polarisée.

POUR FAIRE FONCTIONNER

1.

Mettre l’interrupteur sur arrêt. Une fois que l’appareil repose fermement sur le
bac, effectuer le branchement dans une prise standard.

2. Sélectionner la taille de broyage de la glace en pressant sur le bouton de

sélection et en le positionnant sur

C (broyage grossier) ou F (broyage fin).

Mettre l’appareil en route.

3. Soulever la porte des glaçons, placer les glaçons sur la clayette

(tel que présenté sur le Schéma A) et fermer la porte.

EMARQUE

: Placer la main sur la porte fermée pour empêcher tout

risque d’éjection de morceaux de glace durant l’opération.

Cet appareil peut fonctionner sans interruption pour traiter jusqu’à 3 bacs
de glaçons. En milieu d’opération, éteindre l’appareil et soulever le bac.
Tourner le bac à glace, repositionner l’appareil afin qu’il fasse face à l’extrémité
opposée du bac et continuer à broyer. Si vous souhaitez broyer plus de glace,
vider le bac et continuer l’opération de broyage. Le bac contenant la glace pilée
peut être placé dans un congélateur pour une courte période de conservation.

4. Après utilisation, débrancher l’appareil et ôter le du bac. Placer l’appareil

à plat sur un torchon pour le faire sécher. NE PAS le mettre dans l’eau.
NE LAVER AUCUN des éléments dans un lave-vaisselle.
