Thank you very much for purchasing “IBM80021
Massage Seat with Heat”. This instruction manual
contains useful information on appropriate use
and maintenance of this product. In order to
benet from its features, read this manual before
rst use and save it for future reference.
Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet
immediately after using and before cleaning.
If the unit has been dropped into water, do not
pick up or touch it. Switch off at the mains and
unplug immediately. Do not operate if it is wet.
Do not use while bathing or in shower. Keep
the unit always dry. Store the unit in a dry and
safe place. Keep away from risks of dropping
into a sink or a tub. Do not submerge in water.
Do not insert pins or other metallic fasteners
into the unit or any openings.
Do not sit or stand on the massage unit (the
back part of the appliance).
Do not leave a plugged unit unattended.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before
putting on or taking off parts.
Before unplugging, turn the unit off by pressing
the on / off button on the remote control.
The unit is not intended for use by persons
with certain disabilities or lack of knowledge.
Do not cover or use the unit under a blanket
when operating. Covering it during use may
excessively heating the unit which may cause
re, electrocution or injury to persons.
Stop using the unit when you are feeling
drowsy. Do not use when you are sleeping.
Stop using the unit if it is damaged, wet,
tempered, forced or not functioning properly.
If in doubt, contact our help line.
Keep the power cord away from heated surface.
Do not operate where aerosol (spray) units
are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
Do not put heavy objects on the unit. Avoid risk
of crushing.
This unit is intended for indoor use only.
Use this unit only for its intended use as described
in this manual.
Do not use attachments not provided with the unit
or recommended by Oregon Scientic.
Save the user manual for future reference.
This unit is not intended for medical use or to
substitute medical care. It is intended only to
provide a luxurious massage.
Individuals, who are pregnant, tted with
pacemaker, suffering from diabetes, phlebitis
and / or thrombosis, or are at an increased
risk of developing blood clots due to recent
surgery or prolonged bed rest should consult
their physician before using the unit.
Do not use if you have poor blood circulation.
If in doubt, consult with your doctor.
This unit should not be used by any individual
suffering from any physical ailment that would
limit the user’s capacity to operate the controls
or who has sensory deciencies in the lower
half of their body.
Do not use if you have diabetes, tuberculosis,
benign or malignant tumours, phlebitis and
thrombosis, or if you have poor circulation.
Do not use the unit directly on open wounds,
swollen or inamed areas and skin eruptions.
Do not use the unit on erupted, swollen,
inamed skin areas, when you have a skin
disease, ulcer or varicose veins are present.
Consult a physician before using if you have
any kind of fungal infection, swelling, fracture
or persistent pain.
If you feel ill after use or experience pain in
muscles or joints for a long time, discontinue
use and consult a physician. Persistent
pain could be a symptom of a more serious
condition.
Do not use this unit before going to bed. The
massage has a stimulating effect which may
delay sleep.
If you are feeling drowsy, stop using the unit
and do not leave the unit operating when you
are sleeping.
Do not leave the unit unattended when
children are present. This unit is not suitable
for children’s use. Keep out of reach of
children.
Do not cover the unit e.g. with pillow or blanket
when it is in operation.
Do not obstruct with objects or thrust any
part of your body in the moving massage
mechanism.
Do not lift this unit by pulling the power cord or
use the cord as handle.
Do not use in automobiles.
Do not use this unit in bed.
Do not use the unit for more than 15 minutes at
a time. Excessive use may overheat the unit.
Should this occur, stop using the unit and wait
until it cooled down before the next use.

OVERVIEW
MASSAGER
Ensure that your hands are dry when operating
the controls or removing the plug.
Do not sit or stand on the massage unit (the
back part of the unit).
Before unplugging, turn the unit off by slide the
controller to OFF position.
This unit is designed for non-professional use
only.
Not recommended for use on timber surfaces
as the zipper may damage the wood. Take
special care when using on upholstered
furniture.
Do not crush. Avoid sharp folds.
To avoid the Velcro straps damaging your
clothes, avoid wearing delicate fabrics or
knitwear when using this unit.

STRENGTH: Press to adjust the strength of
the seat massage.

CLEANING
Do not immerse in any liquid.
Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes,
gasoline, kerosene, glass / furniture polish or
paint thinner to clean.
Unplug the unit and allow it to cool down before
cleaning. Clean only with a soft, slightly damp
sponge. Never allows water or any other liquids to
come into contact with the unit.

Do not attempt to repair the Massage Seat with
Heat. There are no user serviceable parts.

Press Full, Upper or Lower button to
choose the massage area as needed. The
corresponding LED light will illuminate. Press
the same button to deselect and the LED
indicator light will turn off.
Press the STRENGTH button to turn on the
seat massage. The corresponding LED light
indicator will be on.
Press the button multiple times to toggle
through massage strength of low, medium,
high and seat massage off option. The LED
light indicator will be turned off when the seat
massage is off.
GETTING STARTED

MAINTENANCE
Place the unit in its box or in a safe, dry, cool place.
Refrain from sharp edges or pointed objects that
might cut or puncture the fabric surface. To avoid
breakage, do not wrap the power cord around the
unit. Do not hang the unit by the power cord or the
cord of the remote control unit.
For a brief demonstration of the features of the
Massage Seat, press the DEMO button. The unit
will start a cycle of kneading back massage. Once
complete the unit automatically turns off.
Preparing the units for your rst time use
The Massager comes with 2 screws located
on the back of the unit to protect the unit’s
mechanism during shipment. These screws must
be removed before the rst use to avoid damage.
Use the provided allen key to remove the screws
and then use the provided black plug to ll the
hole. Dispose the screws appropriately.
When using the unit for the rst time, you will hear
a “pop” sound. This indicates that the secure lock
has been unlocked. This only happens when the
unit is used for the rst time.

Connect power adaptor to mains.
Connect the DC jack to the power adaptor.

Press the POWER button to turn the unit on.
The LED indicator light will illuminate and
conrm you selection.
To turn off the massager, press the POWER
button again. The LED indicator light will blink
while the massage nodes are returning to the
starting position.
After chosen the massage program, press the
HEAT button to turn on the heat function. The
corresponding LED indicator light will turn on.
Press the same button to deselect the heat
and the LED indicator light will turn off.

Do not pull the power cord or wrap it around
the unit.

WARNING
The massage mechanism always returns
to the starting position when the massage course
ends and when the unit is turned off at the control
panel. If the electrical supply is interrupted, when
the power restores, the mechanism will go back to
the original point before a new massage begins.
Press POWER to begin a new massage.
For your safety, the heat function cannot
be turned on alone without any massage program
chosen.
The massager will turn off automatically
after 15 minutes operation to prevent the unit
overheating.

RECOMMENDED MASSAGE TIME
Generally, a back massage could take up to 15
minutes. You may choose to use it once or twice
daily as needed.
If you have any doubts or concerns, always
consult your doctor.
