The manual outlet of the timer give s access to the hose f aucet without inter rupting the progra mmed cycle of the digital por t.
1. Open the valv e in the port by pulli ng the lever away from the timer (se e drawing)
2. Close th e valve by pushing the l ever towards the timer (See drawing)

INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
1. Remo ve the tray on the back of t he timer by sliding or p ulling it out.
2. Ins ert two AA (1.5V ) alkaline batte ries (include d) and replace the tra y.

NOTE: 1 is every d ay, 2 is every ot her day, etc.
3. Turn dial t o save changes.
Congratulations! Your timer is now programmed. Turn your dial to AUTO to allow your timer to water according to programmed time, station, duration, and frequency.

RAIN DELAY
HRS
Rain dela y allows you to postpone water ing for a set peri od of time. To access the rain d elay, follow the steps below.
1. Wi th the dial on AUTO, pres s the + button to select a d elay of 24 hrs, 4 8 hrs, or 72 hrs.
2. Scr een will flash bet ween clock and hou rs remainin g before programm ed cycle resumes.
3. To remove r ain delay, turn dial to O FF and then bac k to AUTO.
MANUAL/HAND WATERING
This feat ure allows you to wate r without interrupting you r set schedule for your timed outlet. To access this fea ture, follow the step s below.
1. Wi th the dial on AUTO, pres s the MANUAL button.
2. Use the + an d – buttons to selec t watering time, from 1 to 240 minu tes.
NOTE: There may be a s light delay b etween the ti me the manua l button is pre ssed and whe n watering be gins.
To stop manual wa tering, turn the dia l to OFF. Turn the dial bac k to AUTO to resume your programmed watering schedule.
Turning the dial t o the OFF position at any ti me during the day will re set the timer’s interna l timing. Th is will cancel all sc heduled waterin g

times for th e day until the next pro grammed START TIME . This means if you tur n the dial back to AUT O the timer will not wat er until the next day; b eginning at your des ired programmed START TIME .
Example: You have a 6:00 A M START TIME with HOW OFTEN 6 hour inter vals. If you tur n the dial to OFF at 10:00 A M today the timer will not water until tomor row at 6:00 AM. Th e 12:00 PM, 6: 00 PM, and 12:00 A M watering times h ave been cancelled for the day.
