SUBJECT : Picture Interruption in output of 1080P signal via HDMI on Playstation 3

Symptom:

Video output is often interrupted when 1080P signal outputs via HDMI because of
authentication error.

Cause:
Monitor detects problem by mistake because of unstable pixel clock for HDMI output IC.

Procedure for service:

1) Remove Capacitor C8428 on HDMI Board NAVD-8824.

2) Change Resistor at R8524 from 33 ohm to 0ohm on HDMI Board NAVD-8824.

Note:

The resistance value of R8524 was changed to 22ohm first and then to 10ohm again. and finally to 0ohm .

0ohm is the best and 10ohm is better, but 10ohm and 22ohm are also effective.
Therefore, when 22 or 10 ohm Resistor is mounted at R8524,
it is not necessary to replace it by 0ohm Resistor as long as the unit has no problem.
