remote control. Before you can
use your new remote control,
you will need to program it.
To do this, you need to tell the
remote control what TV set
you wish to operate. This is
done by following these easy
steps.

Install two (2) new AAA
batteries.
Find the code for your
TV on the reverse side of
these instructions.
Enter the code.
Use your remote.
Installing the Batteries
Your One For All ® 1 Device needs
two (2) new AAA alkaline batteries.
To install the batteries:

Even if your batteries die, the One For
All® 1 Device built in memory back-up
will save your programmed setup
codes. The One For All® 1 Device will
also retain the memory for another 10
minutes once you have removed the
batteries to replace them.
POWER
On the back of
the One For All
1 Device , unscrew
and push down on
the tab and lift the
cover off.
Match the
batteries to the +
and - marks inside
the battery case,
then insert the
batteries.
Press the battery
cover back into
place and replace
the screw.
Test the unit by
pressing POWER.
The red light
should blink.

Look at your TV to find

Turn on your TV.
Press and hold SETUP until the One For All® 1 Device's red light
blinks twice. Release SETUP.
SETUP
Using the example
shown on the right,
enter the first four-digit
code you wrote down.
(See "Looking Up Your
TV Code".) If you put
in the code correctly,
the red light will blink
twice.
How to Enter Codes
If your TV Press
code is:

Aim the One For All® 1 Device at your TV and press POWER.
Your TV should turn off. If it doesn't, repeat Steps 2-4, trying
POWER
each code listed for your brand until you find the one that operates
your TV.

Troubleshooting
If you cannot get the One For All ® 1 Device
to operate your TV:
■
Try all of the codes listed for the brand
of your TV in the Set-Up Codes section.
■
If your TV responds to some of the
commands but causes the wrong
results, try all of the codes listed for
your brand. Many TV's use similar
remote control codes.
■
Make sure you are within 15 feet of
your TV when using your remote
control.
■
If the red light on your remote control
does not blink when you press a key on
your remote control, replace the
batteries with two (2) new AAA
alkaline batteries. Be sure you match
the batteries to the plus (+) and minus
(-) marks inside the battery case.
