Overload Protection
50- to 300-W Models
The
Power Supply is provided with an overload protection function
that
protects the load and the power supply
by
overcurrent. The
protection function operates when the load cur
rent rises above an overcurrent set value (105% of the rated load
current). For a short-circuit or overcurrent lasting less than 20 seconds,
output voltage is decreased to protect equipment. When the
output current falls within the rated range, the overload protection
function
is automatically cleared.
