CX-Programmer saves you time and money
The latest version of this popular software adds some key new
features such as Function Blocks to allow even faster, easier
programming. These Function Blocks, when used with Omron
version 3 CS1/CJ1 PLCs, can be easily created. Omron also supply
a comprehensive library of pre-developed and pre-tested Function
Blocks allowing you to reduce your programming and testing time
and, when using this Omron library of Function Blocks, increase
your machine functionality.
One programming tool
The ability to offer one software package - CX-Programmer to program to configure and maintain the complete range of PLCs
is not new for Omron. CX-Programmer adds powerful new
functionality and continues adding support for new PLCs to the
existing Omron range.

and CX-Programmer is no exception. It is one of the
most intuitive programming software packages
available on the market today. It is possible to start
working on your project or application as soon
as you get the software, without having to attend
long training courses.
True drag-and-drop development
Working with CX-Programmer 5 is now easier than
ever! The pre-made and pre-tested Function Blocks
can be drag-and-dropped into the application
to give you the machine functionality your customers
demand, but without complex programming and
testing previously required.
Additional Programming Languages
Ladder programming still remains the easiest
language for many people to use, but some users
prefer ‘Structured Text’ language - similar to ‘Basic’.
It allows complex math functionality to be
created easily.
