Use your scale with care, gently loading items to be weighed onto the
center of the pan. Do not immerse the scale in water or other liquids, and
avoid splashing the scale. Clean using a soft cloth dampened with
water.

Install 3-AA batteries (provided), or connect the AC adapter (optional
accessory) to the power input jack at the rear of the scale. Do not apply
excessive force or press on the pan.

Slide the load cell lock to the unlock position for use. Lock for stacking,

Weighing / Pesar / Pesage
Place sample on the pan and read the displayed result. The * indicator
appears when the reading is stable. If using a container, press ON/ZERO/
Off to tare the container before adding material.
If the applied load exceeds the capacity of the scale, an E will appear on
the display and the load should be removed immediately.
Colocar la muestra sobre la bandeja y leer el resultado. El indicador *
aparece cuando la lectura se estabiliza. Si se usa un recipiente, oprimir
ON/ZERO/Off para tarar el recipiente antes de añadir cualquier material.

Place an empty container on the pan, allow the reading to stabilize then
press ON/ZERO/Off to zero (tare) the weight of the container. The scale
now displays zero and will display the weight of material added. Once the
desired quantity is reached, press ON/ZERO/Off again to reset the display
to zero before adding the next item.
Coloque un recipiente vacío sobre el platillo, permita que la lectura se estabilice
y presione ON/ZERO/Off para poner en cero (tara) el peso del recipiente. La
báscula ahora muestra cero en la pantalla y se visualizará el peso del material

1. Press and hold UNIT/Cal until “CAL” is displayed, then release it.

3. Place the appropriate weight on the pan, then press ON/ZERO.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Ohaus products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for
duration of the warranty. During the warranty period Ohaus will repair, or, at its
option, replace any component(s) that proves to be defective at no charge, provided
that the product is returned, freight prepaid, to Ohaus. This warranty does not
apply if the product has been damaged by accident or misuse, exposed to
radioactive or corrosive materials, has foreign material penetrating to the inside of
the product, or as a result of service or modification by other than Ohaus. In lieu
of product registration, the warranty period shall begin on the date of shipment to
the authorized dealer. No other express or implied warranty is given by Ohaus
Corporation. Ohaus Corporation shall not be liable for any consequential damages.
As warranty legislation differs from state to state and country to country, please
contact Ohaus or your local Ohaus dealer for further details.
