Ice Maker Outlet Boxes- How to Use
1. Remove the faceplate from the icemaker box and insert the mounting brackets in the slots on the side of the
box. Snap them into a depth that will place the front of the box slightly recessed from the finished wall surface
when mounted on the studs.
2. Decide on how you are going to mount the box in your wall. (You may need to provide some wood to provide
a firm installation.)
3. Mount the box on the by nailing or screwing through the existing holes in the brackets into the studding.
4. Plumb the water supply to the valve. Using copper solder 1⁄2'' copper directly to the inside of the valve shank.
Using CPVC or polybutylene use an adapter to 1⁄2'' Male Iron Pipe thread.
5. After the line has been tested and the wall has been finished, snap the faceplate onto the box connect 1⁄4'' OD
to the water outlet on the valve.
