SAFEGUARDING
WATER EXPOSURE
Prior to exposing the tim epiece t o water, ensure the crown is push ed fully down against the case. Rated at 10-bar
hydropho bic, the t imepiece may be worn during bathin g, swimming and shallow diving. I t is not designed for scuba or
saturati on diving. Do not pull ou t the crown if the timepi ece is wet. I f used in se awater, rinse the timepiece with fresh
water and dry completely. For leather strap model, avoid soaking the strap, as this may damage the natural leather.
TEMPERATURE
For precision timekeeping, normal operating temperature is 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F).
MAGNETISM
Strong magnetic fields can have an adverse affect on the timepiece. Keep it away from magnetic objects.
CHEMICALS
The timepiece may become discolored or damaged if exposed to cosmetic spray, detergents, adhesives, solvents or paints.
SHOCK WAVE
Although the timepiece resists shock damage, impact against a hard surface may cause damage to the movement or crystal.
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
To ensur e that the cas e, crown, cryst al seal and ga sket remain res istant to wate r exposure, it is recommended that the
timepiece be inspected once every two to three years by an Authorized Oakley Service Center.
