instructions for the following changes which are noted below.
The GTB 4-Cell was designed for use only in lower-load applications where
only 4 cells are used such as oval and 1/12 on-road cars. Use with more
than 4 cells or in higher load applications like touring cars will void the
warranty as seen in the main GTB instruction manual included with
this product.
SPECIFICATIONS:
All specifications are identical to those found in the GTB Main Instructions
except for the following:
Input Voltage ..............................4 Cells (1.2 Volts DC/Cell)
ESC Weight (w/o wires).............1.01 ounce (29 grams)
PROPER GEAR SELECTION Starting Points:
Gearing is given in rollout for each brushless motor turn (i.e. 4.5). Rollout is
determined by dividing tire circumference (tire diameter x 3.14) by spur and
pinion gear ratio. Example: (1.75” x 3.14) ÷ (100 ÷ 23) = 1.26 rollout.
For optimum 4 cell performance, it is not recommended to exceed
temperatures of 160˚F (71˚C) on the ESC or Motor. Reduce gearing if
necessary.
THROTTLE PROFILE SELECTION
The GTB 4-Cell ESC is equipped with 6 user-selectable throttle profiles as
shown below.

Drag Brake Values. Drag brake values have been optimized for use with
sintered rotors and 4-cell applications, and allow for much finer adjustments.
