Replacement of Advantech Hardware with 4SYS
Medical Grade Workstation
Replacement Procedure
This procedure includes instructions for the replacement of Advantech Hardware with 4SYS
Medical Grade Workstation.
Installing the 4SYS Medical Grade
Hardware
1. Remove AC power from the Advantech
Hardware.
WARNING: Before servicing, ensure that
AC power is removed from the
WPU. Failure to observe this
precaution may cause injury
by electrical shock.
2. Unplug all cables from the rear of the
Advantech Hardware. Take note of
removed locations for future reference.
3. Utilizing a #2 Phillips Head
screwdriver, remove and retain 3 screws
(1) attaching the tilt clamp assembly (2)
to the patient arm (3). See Figure 1.
4. Remove and retain 4 Phillips Head
screws (4) attaching tilt clamp assembly
(5) to L bracket (6). See Figure 2.
5. Remove 3 Phillips Head screws (7)
attaching the Patient Arm attachment
plate (8) to the tilt clamp assembly (5).
Discard items (7) and (8). See Figure 2.
6. Utilizing a T-30 Torx Wrench, loosen (do
not remove) two screws (9) located on
the back of the tilt clamp. See Figure 3.
7. Flip the tilt clamp (10) from vesa
bracket (11) to reposition vesa bracket,
ensuring remouting of bracket assembly
will allow the open slots (12) on the vesa
bracket to be located at the top of
assembly. See Figure 3 for correct
installation positioning of tilt clamp and
vesa bracket.
8. Using 3 screws (13) previously removed
in step 3, install tilt clamp assembly
(14) onto Patient Arm (15).
NOTE: When mounting the tilt clamp
assembly to the patient arm,
ensure the open slots (12) on
the vesa bracket portion of the
tilt clamp assembly are located
at the top.
CAUTION: The 4SYS Medical Grade
Workstation is extremely
delicate. Use extreme care
when handling the
Workstation.
9. Using the 4 screws removed in step 4,
(16) install the 4SYS Medical grade
workstation (17) onto the tilt clamp
assembly (18). See Figure 4.
10. Disconnect all cables routed from the
Isolation Transformer and the
Uninterrupted Power Supply located n
the right side of the machine.
